the best drama!!
I saw this when I was scrolling on mdl. I clicked on it. I watched it. in one night. this drama was so good!!! I felt multiple emotions, happiness, sadness, anger, and fear. everything in this drama was perfect. the fighting scenes, the acting, the visuals, I really liked the script. I am the type person who gets second hand embarrassment extremely easily. nothing they said make me feel schem(second hand embarrassment). In the last ep's (5-8 ep) these are the most sad ep's. even though I have never dealt with bullies, this drama truly made me know how serious bullies are. I truly think that beom seok should have spoke up of his problems instead of destroying himself. I feel like his heart was always kind but because of his trauma, it kinda effected him. I'm so happy that shi eun stood up for himself and gave the guys who deserved a beating a beating. I really hope when season 2 comes out, ahn soo ho will be out of the coma, he was my fav person in this drama. oh, if you guys wanna watch the drama, you can go to kisskh. search it up on sarfari or Google!! thx for readinggWas this review helpful to you?

weak hero class is one of the most unforgettable dramas that I have watched and has easily earned a top spot in my list of all-time favourites. I genuinely think about it every single day and there hasn’t been a moment since I first finished it where I haven’t wanted to go back and rewatch. it's a drama that kind of always lingers with you, not just because of its storyline but because of how immersive it is (esp during fighting scenes, cause I had to get out of my seat a lot during them lol) it's impactful. the actors also portrayed the characters so well, maybe I'm biased since I've been a fan of park jihoon since produce but I loved how he portrayed sieun, and I can't imagine anyone else as him. especially during the last episode, the window shattering scene is something I constantly think about whenever I think of whc !!!! and visually, this drama is stunning. from the cinematography to the muted yet powerful color grading, the way each scene is framed.. the aesthetic is 10/10 no questions asked <333I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about whc it's perfect in 100 different ways. i think it'll be a drama that stays on my top 5 list for a very long time.

Couldn't stop watching
Start to finish I was hooked. Our main characters quickly grew fond in my heart, and this drama scratched ever itch of what I was looking for. Intense, thrilling, even heart-felt. Park Ji Hoon has some of the most expressive eyes I have ever seen, and his acting this drama was stellar. If you are looking for a drama with an engaging plot, good acting, good progression, look no further. I really haven't experienced a lot of dramas that I enjoyed so much.I'd say it would be hard for this drama not to impress. It was fast paced, and while I am one to enjoy a good slow burn, not everyone does so there is no wasting time with this one.

Poor Yeong Bin Got Wrecked for No Reason at the end ?
From the very first moment, I was completely hooked. What I loved the most was Si Eun’s straightforward personality, and the friendship between the three of them was truly beautiful—until one of them completely lost it and ruined everything.Honestly, I really wanted to see Beom Seok get beaten up badly. Everything was way too easy for him. I mean, Su Ho is lying in a hospital bed in a coma while this guy is just out there living his life. Poor Si Eun lost everything because of that jerk Beom Seok.
But I have to admit, it was extremely satisfying to see Si Eun beat the hell out of those guys at the end. And poor Yeong Bin… yes, he started the whole mess, but during the final attack he actually wasn’t even involved, yet he still got destroyed like the rest of them—honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh. I finished the whole drama in a single sitting, and it was absolutely incredible.

does justice to the webtoon
i have already finished the webtoon which consists of 266 chapters....this adaptation is the best....and one little thing for you'll that the real story haven't even begun yet......this was the back story to how a normal student becomes a badass one....the main story will start and the school he is transferred to now...the Eunjang.....and considering how great the webtoon itself is...there is content available of like 4 - 5 season minimum.....lets hope that they make it right...also interested people can read the webtoon ...it is really captivating....just a little changes in names have been made...that in drama he is si-eun yeon while in webtoon he is Gray yeon...other that that everything is just on point....hell I remember when I started this webtoon I was so eagerly waiting for someone to make its adaptation.....I even messaged some of the animation studios in hopes that they would make it....Was this review helpful to you?

After watching Season 1 and 2 more than twice, here’s my review of the drama:
Let’s talk about the story:
A simple student in a school full of bullies (they’re not changing a winning formula). Other students constantly messing with him. Episode 1 is explosive the moment he smashes the guy’s face with a notebook, +20 hits, I literally counted them I loved it.Season 1 has some really strong opponents: from classmates to gang members, all the way up to the gang leader. Plus the original antagonist who really pisses you off by the end of the season by sending someone from the group (I won’t spoil the name). That antagonist ends up becoming a huge victim and has to ask for help. Overall, Season 1’s story is TOP tier!
The actors? Nothing to criticize they’re incredible!
The fight scenes are intense, exactly how we like them!
eng is not my first lang so sorry if i made some error in my text

ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
A masterpiece that redefines what a school drama can be.Weak Hero Class 1 is, without question, one of the greatest coming-of-age dramas ever created. While it centers around school violence, its true focus lies in exploring loneliness, friendship, trauma, survival, and the heartbreaking reality that sometimes the people who need saving the most are the ones who appear strongest on the outside. Every episode is emotionally devastating, brilliantly written, and impossible to look away from.
Park Ji-hoon delivers one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen in a Korean drama. As Yeon Si-eun, he portrays a quiet, academically gifted student whose intelligence becomes his greatest weapon in a world dominated by violence. His performance is incredibly restrained, allowing subtle expressions and body language to communicate years of emotional isolation without needing lengthy dialogue. Watching Si-eun slowly open himself to friendship is one of the most rewarding character arcs I’ve ever experienced.
What truly elevates this drama is the bond between Si-eun, Ahn Su-ho, and Oh Beom-seok. Their friendship develops naturally through shared experiences rather than forced emotional moments, making every scene between them feel genuine. Their interactions capture the awkwardness, loyalty, humor, and vulnerability of adolescence with remarkable authenticity.
The fight choreography is unlike anything else in the genre. Every confrontation feels grounded, strategic, and painfully realistic. Si-eun doesn’t overpower his opponents through strength but through intelligence, making every fight suspenseful because victory is never guaranteed. More importantly, every act of violence carries emotional consequences that continue to shape the characters throughout the series.
The cinematography perfectly reflects the emotional atmosphere, using muted colors, tight framing, and deliberate pacing to create a constant feeling of tension. The soundtrack further enhances the emotional weight, never overwhelming the story but quietly amplifying its most heartbreaking moments.
What stayed with me long after finishing the drama wasn’t the violence it was the profound exploration of friendship, trust, betrayal, and the desperate need for human connection. Few dramas have ever portrayed teenage loneliness with such honesty and compassion.
Emotionally devastating, masterfully written, flawlessly acted, and unforgettable in every possible way, Weak Hero Class 1 isn’t simply one of the best school dramas ever made it’s one of the greatest Korean dramas, period. An unquestionable 10/10.

I really REALLY like this show
Other than the great casting, the show itself is just, muah, chef's kiss. The emotions that are portrayed feel so real and is conveyed very well by the actors.
Other than that, it doesnt feel corny or copied like other shows can feel, it instead feels very unique and original (I know it's based on a webtoon, but ykwim)
Moreover the open ending left off so well to introduce season 2 even though I'm sad that Choi hyun wook will be in that season. I look forward to seeing more of this show and it's definetely a great and thrilling watch!
I recommend strongly, on my mother, it's amazing!

WOW, seriously so impressive by everything - the acting, story, OST, everything
im loving the bromance so much between si eun and si ho, the building of the story plot and character is so realistic. kinda upset with the ending, but that also just shows how realistic the real world is. though, the ending is not gonna stop me from giving a 10/10 rating. I LOVE IT.Si Eun acting is honestly so good, just found out he's from wanna one and im surprised.
P/S. going into weak hero class season 2 right now, after finishing season 1! i hope it doesn't disappoint.

Perfection
My usual kdrama genre is romance and crime involved thriller so this whole fight club was new.Be warned, you inner demons crawl out and you grin madly as violence ensues on screen.
Mine did as I screamed "punch, again!!!" (I'm OK, I'm therapy)
The choreography, the cinematography, the inability to stop yourself binge watching. It's got it. Acting was 10++
The only reason for the 9.5 is because someone really deserved a sever beating... But didn't get it *grrr*
Other than that it was satisfying drama definitely worth the rewatch.
