"Amidst a snowstorm of love "
This is a feel good drama.Full of positivity.Really liked the locations of shooting.Still it gives me chills. Also its interesting to watch the competition part. I loved the drama name very very much , its really very heart touching. The love between the male lead and female lead is pure. I didn't wanted it to end.It would have been good if it had more episodes. Was this review helpful to you?
Your depression can be cured with its sweetness ?❤️
I feel empty now and don't know what to watch for single people like me.This drama was everything going through depression.Watching them, I was smiling, blushing, and kicking air.I love their chemistry. Lin Yi Yang tops the list of green flags; he is the guy we know we won't get in this generation❣️ When he said I like you,I love you, the word I want to marry you was attach with it.They look so good with each other want to watch them in another drama too.I will miss them going to rewatch again❣️Was this review helpful to you?
Wasted Talent
I decided to drop this drama after watching the 6th episode as I was bored out of my mind. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Wu Lei having watched his previous dramas in Nirvana in Fire, The Long Ballad, Nothing But you and Love like the Galaxy, but even my fondness for him was not enough to sustain my interest in such a flat storyline. What kept me going past the 1st episode was my anticipation and hope that the story would pick up and offer something more complex and interesting, but sadly what I see so far is more scenes of OCD-stalkerish Lin Yiyang with major hangups and a bruised ego finding solace in the warmth of a shy, impressionable, sheltered Yin Guo. The only thing that seems to progress is their deepening level of physical intimacy, from cold-staring, knee-bumping, head-stroking, hugging, full on kissing etc. The other characters appear rather insignificant because most of the screen and script time is taken up mostly by the relationship between these 2 characters. I know it's primarily meant to be a sweet romance drama, but honestly I was hoping for something more sophisticated than regular plain vanilla. After all, it's Wu Lei!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels disappointed with this drama so far..

Boring
High expectations but after 7 episodes of boring seeing them walking but going nowhere i cannot find interesting story. No real conversations between the couple . Boring story . depressing. No beautiful scenery no cool snooker moves or anything. Not funny or romantic of maybe very slow start and maybe it will become better later but cannot find myself like the other reviews of captivating from first scene or whatever.really one full disappointing drama

In terms of storyline, the artists and acting are really good and the feelings are really conveyed well.
It's a shame that many episodes were cut. It's not enough just 30 episodes.
It seems like no other drama can replace this drama. I feel like there will be something missing when watching other dramas after watching this drama.
For me, in the modern drama category, the one that takes first place forever is Admist a Snowstorm of Love

World Snooker Highlights!
Amidst A Snowstorm Of LoveGenre: Romance, Sport
Episodes: 30
Streamed on: Netflix
Plot Summary:
An up and coming rookie 9 Ball player meets a Snooker prodigy while abroad for a tournament. For him it’s love at first site, and this is their love story… with intermissions of World Snooker Highlights.
Characters & Cast:
Main Characters: Ships
Leo Wu ⇒ Lin Yi Yan
Zhao Jin Mai ⇒ Yin Guo
Best of OST:
This has to be the stand out track from the OST… Theres a version of this where the ML sings… but it isn’t good… 🤣
https://youtu.be/wzJpPNc4ETk?si=Gqvy3jIHoTqLJBxO
This song also deserves some recognition…
https://youtu.be/nlmrCuWjdkc?si=C8d5YTDMbigcs3Pn
Whilst not a lot of these tracks make my playlists, they suit this drama so well, and are so soothing for the most part.

Gripes:
Now… this gripe isn’t fair… because with this the story doesn’t work, but I was hooked by the love story, and I enjoy billiards, but I kept feeling the romance plot was interrupted by “World Snooker Highlights”. But as this will be something I see myself re-watching a few times, I can skip or have toilet breaks when they appear.
Re-watch:
**Would I watch it again?**
Yes, this was thoroughly enjoyable.
**Would I watch it with my brother?**
Hmm. Probably not. He does enjoy pool, but probably not enough for this drama.
**Would I watch it with my kid?**
Yes, I will watch this with my daughter. We have a pool table, maybe she’ll get interested.
Final Thoughts:
The romance was so good. And I like the pacing. The time skips were reasonably placed. This was a great drama. I didn’t understand why you would judge someone in their late 20’s on what they did in their mid teens but it wasn’t enough to make it a gripe. Highly recommended.
Rating:
8.9/10

A pain-free fall into Love
Away from home & stranded in a snowstorm, the FL { Zhao Jin Mai } receives help from a kind stranger. The ML { Leo Wu }, took one look at her through a window & felt his world shift. Little do either of them know how this chance encounter will change their lives forever.Winter may be white, but this couple is pure G R E E N 💚💚💚
She’s a rising star in the world of professional billiards (& yeah, that’s a thing! 🤷🏻♀️) Years ago, he was a true genius in the sport, basking in the spotlight. But he left, both the sport & the country, after a scandal with no plans of coming back. As they spend time together, though, she inspires him to return to the world he left behind. And the whole journey is a delight to watch.
The ML is total boyfriend material. From that first glance, his entire being focuses on her. And it’s not in an unhealthy way where he lets everything else in his life fall apart, but rather in the sense that he now has a new purpose & drive to succeed in all his endeavors - so he can give her the very best version of himself. He’s very attentive & affectionate. He prioritizes her & does all he can to make her feel secure in his feelings for her. He’s all in & he’s not afraid to let the whole world know.
The FL is just as enamored with him as he is with her, though she’s a bit more hesitant to act on her feelings. He makes it safe for her to do so, though, so she jumps & joins him in the free fall to love. She’s mature for her age in the ways she doesn’t whine or try to manipulate him into doing what she wants. She’s willing to face any obstacles with him rather than demanding he just make them all disappear. She’s respectful of his goals & encourages him to chase his dreams, promising to be a source of unending support for him. And while her familial situation causes them to keep their relationship a secret from those outside their close circle, she’s fully devoted to him & makes sure he knows it.
I love this for its total lack of any drama-trauma. No rival interference, no jealous teammates, no stupid breakups - it’s a story full of love, respect, trust, support, & chemistry. Oh my wowza - their chemistry is both sugary sweet & smokin’ hot. 🔥🫠 They personify the saying, “the eyes are the windows of the soul”. The things they say with just a glance or gaze… it makes you believe the actors aren’t just acting!
I could gush over this so much, but instead of reading more of my opinions, you should just push play & enjoy the absolutely beautiful & precious story for yourself! 🩵💛💜💚

Healthy romance with no cringey or toxic drama
I have to start by saying I no longer watch romantic drama, why? Because they are predictable. I have some time to spare and having heard so many rave reviews about this drama, I decided to give it a shot. I loved the bond of friendship, relationships repaired(Lin Yang and his coach), a man who loves a woman unapologetically. Wu Lei was expressive, very much present in all his scenes, carried the aura of a much older guy, I was very surprised to hear he was only 24 when he played this role.I was also surprised to see how well they actually played. The billiard table was not a prop, they actually spent hours training with professional players and it shows. 10/10 for commitment and effort. I learnt a thing or two about Billiard which was interesting.
What I would have liked better: more reciprocity from the FL, she was very coy which is understandable but overly coy which made some of her interactions child like. She also ate and slept a lot lol but she was very natural and played her role very well. I mean that was the script she was given.
If you are looking for an unproblematic, family and friendship based drama with lovely views of Helsinki and a sizzle of Billiards, this is for you.

Pure Romance
I have watched many dramas! This drama is in my top 10, maybe even top 5. I am more into boss employee trops. They only released 30 episodes and I wish I could watch the episodes they cut as it was suppose to be 38. I think her age when released they had to censor it a lot in China. This drama is by far the most green flag drama I have ever watched. Like the greenest of greens. Such pure love and I love how the male lead looks at her with love and passion. He doesn't have a lot but what he does have he wants to give her the best. This is the first drama I watched in maybe over 100, where the male leads thinks how she would feel and overly communicates. Like when the FL met this girl and mentioned the ML, he told her that girl used to like him and then goes further on to make it so nothing is confusing. Most dramas don't do that, they just say "oh she a friend" or "sister" or the male lead never communicates well enough so the girl is in her mind overthinking. I will say this hands down is a 10. I surprised people listed it as a lower number but to each of there own.
I will say the kisses are not great as most were cut when they cut 8 episodes worth of content. Normally I don't like watching it when they do not have really anything or when the girl pulls away from a kiss to much. But the pure and deep love they have is amazing and worth it.
I told my husband if you watch any Cdrama have it be this one and learn from this guy hahaha. I usually watch dramas by myself when he is at soccer which is one day a week but I made him start the first episode over with me again as it is so good in my opinion. They have so much passion and I am in awe. I would though, I am not a fan of how he was missing some school because of her or go sick from overworking himself. But I really really enjoyed it and if you watch any drama have it be this one. The male lead is a green forest and I am all for it.
Now if you are in to where they bicker back and forth first before getting together like me that is fine and that make for a good drama. But this show is what kind of love I want not just want to watch. Pure love and romance.
