WHY THE HELL THERE ARE ONLY 30 EPISODES?
Don't know where to start, Guys this drama is probably the best ever c-drama to be released in the year 2024!Don't ever miss this drama or you gonna regret it!Also this drama is not meant for the ones whom expects more engaging and crisp story or some revenge plot or two guys chasing after the girl or the vice versa or some business plot!
Eventhough it also involves sports plot, but it does not completely revolve around it!Infact it only acts a bridge for the lead pair!
Then, what can u expect from this drama?
1)FIRST AND FOREMOST IS UNDOUBTEDLY.........."HAPPY ENDING"!
2)NO ANNOYING SECOND LEADS CHASING AFTER THE MAIN LEAD COUPLES!
3)NOT JUST THE LEAD COUPLES BUT EVERY CHARACTER IN THIS DRAMA ARE GREEN FLAGS!SAY FOR e.g FL'S brother
4)CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE LEAD COUPLES IS MIND BOGGLING
5)OFCOURSE CINEMATOGRAPHY AND OST ARE OFF THE CHARTS!
6)AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS "NO UNNECESSARY BREAKUP"
7)INFACT IN THE COMPLETE SERIES, THERE IS ONLY ONE MISUNDERSTANDING SCENE!BUT THE BEST PART IS IT IS RESOLVED MORE QUICKLY
Does that means it has no negatives?
1)Eventhough it is a sports related drama, after completing it only thing that strikes to me it is more of a romance genre!Director should have given much more importance to the sports plot!
2)Director should have given much more screenspace for the second lead couple! It doesn't mean the main lead couples are boring, however second lead couples story is yet to be finished!Probably Director may have other plans for the second lead pair!
3)PROBABLY THIS IS THE ONLY MAJOR NEGATIVE THAT MANY OF THE FELLOW REVIEWERS ALSO GONNA AGREE:
"WHY THE HELL THERE ARE ONLY 30 EPISODES? PROBABLY A FEW MORE EPISODES,
1)SO THAT SECOND LEAD COUPLES STORY MIGHT ALSO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ENDING!
2)ALSO FINISING OFF THE SERIES WITH THE MARRIAGE OF MAIN COUPLES WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH MORE APT THAN THE OFFICIAL SERIES ENDING!

BETTER GO FOR IT!DEFINITELY YOU GONNA ENJOY IT!

You know the sweetest thing on earth? Yin Guo and Lin Yiyang's love.
WOW, Everything in this drama is perfect for what it is.Sweet every episode. I am literally giggling when they interact, they freaking killed the romantic scenes. At first I always say that this is so slow, but its perfect, the slowness add a different kind of love. Oh also, this being a billiards/pool story really captivated me. I am kind of sad that it only has Thirty EP, I wish there are more.
Amidst a snowstorm of love, perfect title. I don't even know what to say but this is definitely my fav C-drama now.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND AHHHHH

I would see this story many times, I highly recommend it because it is gorgeous.
A good performance by both actors, they are excellent actors, they are learning little by little.
Discover this beautiful story, and what ending will it have for these two Villar players?

FRIENDS TO LOVERS TROPE??? THIS IS SURELY MINE!
This drama sets my standard so high in many different aspects. I know long ago that by heart, friends to lovers has always been my favorite trope. This drama did not just gave me that but it proves as well that it is indeed the sweetest way to fall in love. I do not know anything about billiards but watching this made me learn a few things. Of course it was not just about the sport, it is also about the friendship and love that I enjoyed a lot. What more can I say, except this is surely my top cdrama of all time. No other cdrama gave me the same butterflies in my stomach as this one. I love each episode of it. Happy start all the way to the ending, no unnecessary complications with their relationship, instead they just work their best to have a strong and lasting relationship. I truly enjoyed watching this. A good addiction if I might say.I COULD REWATCH THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN THEN REPEAT IT AGAIN

My fave quote or line from them
Lin Yi yang : I'm not in a hurry, I'm not in a hurry at all. —This line is really where a standard of mine to men began to form.
Yin Guo : You know, you know, how I love you so. — Dang, isn't it just so sweet.

sweet romance story
Amidst a Snowstorm of Love (2024) - 9/10 -cdramathis drama is somewhere between 8,5/9 at least for me I decided to give it 9. Its for example very alike by vibe and story to drama Love Me, Love My Voice (2023) but I liked Love me .... more.
Drama is full of cute and romantic scenes + friendship and sportmanship got big space here too.
picking pool/nineball/snooker etc as sport around which will this drama go was good and bad choice at once. Firstly its good since story-setting of washed of pro player, training and playing at pubs in foreign city is interesting and quite realistic. At other hand this sport isnt very entertaining for watchers. At least better than watching others play chess or such.
Male lead character is on more unique side and makes this drama quite enjoyable if I had to describe it he seems :tough on outside, tender on inside:. As for female lead character she is more inverted :cute/tender on outside and tough in inside:
plot- Former professional snooker genius ML met the popular nine-ball player FL on a rare snowstorm night in city of foreign country. ML fell for FL at first sight and decided to do all he can to pursue FL and make her his girlfriend. As wheel of fate is quite fickle he finds out that FL he fell for is sister of his former snooker rival.
genre - romance, sport

Love is evident from the beginning
I really like the progression of this slow love story. From the first time he saw her he has been smitten and slowly wanting to enter her world. First series ive watched that the ML fell hard first, as in eposide 1. Anyways, will probably post a progression review later on. We shall see.Their chemistry is so on point. The small gestures and the FL reactions are reminiscing of ones first love.
I also loce how thier both foodies.
OST so far is perfect! The acting, well its so good and convincing that made me watch on repeat after the 6th episode
Cant wait!

Not for me
Oh, this was not it. Everything that worked in “Love Me, Love My Voice” did not work here, I fear. This was not for me, and I feel like everyone was doing too much and nothing at all at the same time. Why does the male lead immediately care so much for a girl he doesn’t know? To the point that she literally moves in with him, like? Girl, he could be a freak, aren’t you scared of getting offed?? LYY was also just too intense for me. Bro loved looking at Yin Guo like this 👁️👄👁️, it made me uncomfortable😭😭. When she put that band aid on his leg… I thought I was going to 🤯 because why were they doing that much over a scratch?? I thought I could push through to get to their dating era, but the episodes just drag and drag – the leads just looking at each other wide-eyed, doing too much and yet nothing at all. It wasn’t for me, moving on to the next drama.Update October 2024: I kept thinking of this show, and picked it up again. I admit that I skipped episodes 23-29 and most of episode 30 to finally get to the end. Overall, this was alright - I guess -, but my initial thoughts are still the same. Again, small situations were kind of presented in such an over-the-top way that I just rolled my eyes👀👩🏻💻. Bro has a sore throat, and Yin Guo acts like he's on his death bed. When she visited him while he was ill, she kept bumping into that stupid box in his apartment, which pissed me off so bad BECAUSE IT WASN'T EVEN THAT DARK TO MISS IT?!👹👹 Like, if I can make out every piece of furniture, then it ain't dark enough for her to trip over her two feet. Again, bro was doing too much because her leg was slightly red from bumping into a box twice. Pleaseeeee. Also... Zhao Jin Mai was adorable in this show, she gave me black cat energy, however, her whiny voice was a little annoying sometimes because it made her sound like a 16-year-old 😭😭😐 Anywho, episodes 8/9-15 were quite enjoyable though, once she got back to China... I lost interest again 😐🚩. Anyway, I did it, I watched the show, and had an okay time!

Unexpected disappointment
I usually don't write reviews here, I use my twitter account to simply send my random thoughts during the watching party, but I am afraid this one deserves a greater explanation than 2-3 sentences I can squeeze in a tweet.Back when this drama was airing, many of my friends were watching and praising it. I was asked on multiple occasions why I don't give it a try, and at first, it was because I was busy, but later on I found out it's a sports drama which is usually not my cup of tea. Lately, I've been more into cdramas so I decided to finally give this drama a try. Everyone and their mothers loved it, I should too, right?
Hah, how wrong I was.
I won't lie, the first 2 episodes were actually entertaining, I loved the idea of a guy who randomly saw this pretty girl and fell in love with her at first sight. I found their initial awkwardness around each other cute and realistic, but as time progressed, instead of dissipating, that awkwardness became more and more evident.
There was too much staring and almost 0 communication between them. Every time they had one of their staring parties, I had to divert my eyes because I was physically uncomfortable with it. The lack of communication between them was also killing me because how are you so madly liking someone, but not knowing anything about them except the basic info? They could be a total nuthouse, as opposed to their good looks, aren't you interested in finding out more? They even brought it up multiple times, asking each other why are they so quiet and that raised my first red flag because they literally had so many things to talk about (billiards, moving from China, uni life, adaptation to new surroundings, heck even weather talk would do), but they opted to keep their mouth stuffed with food with a sprinkle of bizarre staring on top (the lack of music in staring scenes made it even creepier).
We got a glimpse of ML's traumatic past which could possibly be a reason for his rather cold and seemingly unbothered behavior, but at the same time, he seems to get along with everyone - every random character that spawned out of nowhere had nothing but good words about him, treating him and taking care of him. So, if you managed to make them like you, why are you now blanking in front of the girl you like? Math ain't mathing.
FL's behavior also didn't really make any sense, but I guess it had to be like that for the sake of the plot. Moving in with the first guy you met on another continent seems like the start of a horror movie to me.
And my last, and probably the weirdest reason I dropped it is the age gap. Now, I watched HL before, and for some reason, I didn't really mind the age gap, but I just can't get over it here. I tried multiple times to forget it, but it just kept pestering me to the point that I started associating their lack of talk with their age difference which made me hate it even more.
I know I dropped this early and that there is plenty more room for it to get better, but I literally can't force myself through it anymore. I had a really high expectations and they weren't met so I should stop torturing myself and ruining the image for the people who actually loved it. The cast was actually good, I loved Zhao Jinmai in Reset and this whole review has nothing with them, but their characters, but even they couldn't make me stay. OST and pretty city shots are also a bonus, but they're not the ones I am ready to sacrifice 25 hours for.

Meeehhhh.....
It was BORING....DRAGGING...I felt SLEEPY...Good for FLUFFY ROMANCE lovers. It reminded me of Road Home, which I dropped after 8-10 episodes, due to its slow pace. Don't expect much in terms of story and plot, they are nowhere to be found. Logic was crying in a corner, as it was not used and valued much. Was this review helpful to you?
Too Gentle
I generally enjoy slow, deep stories. But this was too slow, too gentle, too shallow a story line to maintain my interest. The main characters are overly sweet and, frankly, just dull. This may be because this is aimed at a much younger audience; the FL in this case was just too young and naive.I skipped large swathes of the episodes focused on the FL and ML relationship, so I technically haven't seen the whole series. The story line of the ML's career was much more compelling, so I did watch chunks of the last few episodes. But the love story itself just made me roll my eyes. Watch this only if you like excessive sugar.
In fact, I preferred the chemistry between the FL's brother (Meng Xiaodong) and his ex (Linlin). I wish that had been fleshed out a little more, or even given their own spin-off series. I am now curious about their rollercoaster relationship.

It’s a big yes!
It’s official. I’ll definitely watch again. The story is so unique and the acting is great. The chemistry between the leads is definitely 🔥🔥. The build up, communication, relationship and showmanship were amazing. The series revolves around more than just the leads but their community. When I say community I mean the people that share their common interest. What I enjoyed about the series is that it shows how friends can become family after spending so much time together. They all appear to be able to celebrate each other successes whether they were from the same club or not, and that to me spoke volumes. It was played in such a way that was very heartfelt and encouraging.
The relationship of the leads felt pure, genuine and swoon worthy. It just felt right.
I didn’t find one boring episode. The male need really knows how to intensify his expression and gazes.the supporting cast were all the best. No one fell short.
In summary you’ll get sweet romance, slight drama, good billiards scenes, heartfelt moments, laughter and more. Definitely a good one.
