Both titles involve being kidnapped at a young age and co-habitation which leads to the female lead believing the male lead is a good person.

Both are mystery dramas. Wandering was of course a movie while WNTO is a mini drama. Both deal with inappropriate relationships, social misunderstandings and a pure, different type of love. If you've seen one, you'll like the other.

She works hard and becomes a full-time employee at an insurance company, but because of her diligence, she is unable to refuse the work she is asked to do and accepts it with a smile on her face. One day, an elite company employee, Nishina Soma, moves into the room next door. Fujiko is soothed by the time she spends with her very kind and gentlemanly neighbor. But why did Nishina, a supposedly elite man, move into this shabby apartment, and why is he so kind to Fujiko...? It seems that Nishina, who does not speak much, is a stranger to Fujiko...?

Similar because of the domestic violence theme. It is on a much smaller scale in Wandering (2022) though.

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

Leads are both abused since a child and was helped by someone who actually has their own hidden struggles. Both also experience an abusive relationship. I kept thinking how this had the same formula as Wandering but a toned down version which leaves you with the warmth of a found family. Wandering on the other hand had a more solid plot but everything stays in the dark—it all just gets heavier. If you're the type who like movies that deal with serious topics that's got top notch actors and a seasoned director, you might want to try Wandering.
