Terminé este hermoso confort drama! ☺️ me tuvo con una sonrisa los 25 episodios, que cosa tan más tierna! 🥹 Es una bella historia sobre una amistad de esas que se sienten como un refugio, y tiene un mensaje súper lindo sobre la perseverancia y el no rendirse nunca para alcanzar tus metas! toca temas difíciles pero no profundizan y es lo que más me gustó! 🤗🥰💜 la química entre Lu Yu Xiao y Wu Jun Ting fue lo mejor! amé cada mirada y abrazo que compartieron y a todo el resto de los personajes, amo ver este tipo de dramas donde no hay personajes tóxicos ni tramas muy pesadas! realmente vale la pena!

One of the best youth drama!

This one easily became one of my favorites. I like all the characters, especially the main leads. The build-up to the romance of the main leads is so good because it was slow-burn and more realistic compared to other youth dramas. This is your typical friends-to-lovers trope but I found myself getting diabetes from their interactions because their chemistry is just SO GOOD. Plusss they are all so good-looking.

If I were to pick a favorite character, it would definitely be Ji Jun Xing (male lead). Because not only is he a very good friend, he also is very loyal to the female lead. She fell first, but he fell harder haha. He definitely set the bar so high when it comes to being the ideal boyfriend because he has the personality of a golden retriever. The female lead is also not your typical dumb girl like most youth dramas portray. Finally, a very strong-willed, kind, and smart female lead. She loves her family so much. I cried for her when she wasn't able to get into college the same day with her friends and has to stay behind to repeat a year. She is so strong because if it were me, I would be so devastated. No wonder the male lead fell for her.

I like how the plot progresses where the setting started in highschool, and then proceeded to college and then workplace setting. It gives you this sense of anticipation to every episode. I gave a 9.5 for the story because there were some inconsistencies in the plot like how the male lead's passion for computer programming wasn't highlighted more. Part of the plot was when he rejected the offer to be in business school to be a computer programmer. But in the end, he ended up starting a business. There were also some misunderstandings on the way, and although I'm a bit annoyed with it, I just brush it off because I would probably react worse if I were in the same position haha. Good thing it didn't drag for too long and we got a very happy and satisfying ending.

These were just minor things to point out if I were to go on the technical side. However, overall this drama is definitely a 10/10!!! I still watch the clips from my favorite scenes because it's hard to find another gem like this, and I'm so sad I've finished watching it.

almost missed a gem

I'm not gonna lie I initially couldn't watch past the first episode BUT... two days ago I decided to try again and oh my goodness did I almost miss out on a GEM. Binged the entire show in two days one of the best modern youth dramas to exist, it is at level with when I fly towards you. I rarely give modern cdramas a 10/10 so this being one of the 10s means it's truly worth a watch. The show through and through had basically no dull moments. The entire show is so sweet, youthful, and joy-inducing. Both the ML and FL (this is kinda random) have really satisfying voices they are legit a match made in heaven. I loveeee this show so much. HIGHLY recommend you definitely won't regret it. And I have extremely high standards for my cdramas so this is a must-watch.

Could have been shorter

This was a great high school drama, like the ones that made you feel like you wanted to be in high school again. I love the friendships in this story, it made the show enjoyable and easy to watch. There was a second male lead, but he wasn't annoying. The leads had a healthy relationship, and the friendships in this story were just the icing on the cake. And in the end, I really did for the characters, but that being said I did not like the structure of the show.
I personally like stories that have a plot throughout the show and the conflict is presented midpoint and so on. But in this show, they resolved the main conflict of the show at the midpoint of the series. And after that, it just felt like a bunch of filler episodes. I think this series would have been better if was about 12 to 18 episodes long. I thought it was too long, not to say that it dragged, but you could tell the writer was just adding things in to fit the episode requirement. It was still a good show, but it had a bunch of subplots, which I can't say I enjoyed too much. About every 6 episodes or so was a different subplot, if you enjoy shows like these you'll probably like this one. But I prefer a show with continuity rather than a series that is broken up. It felt like a compilation of high school stories, which is not a bad thing it is just not for me.
I will say after a while I lost interest in the main couple and started liking the second couple and the boy best friends better. The only regret I have with this show is that they did not expand on the storyline of the boy best friends. I know this is due to censorship laws in China, but their story could have been great.
Overall if you want to watch a few stories of high school figuring it out while laughing along the way, this would be the series for you.

It was SO CUTE

I will say this, it did have some unnecessary things that barely got an explanation.

First, why did Lin Xis dad suddenly get stabbed making her stay back a year in HS? They showed NO issues of her brothers murderer being ANYWHERE near them. This was so confusing and he just ended up getting arrested... but like why did it happen?

Two, when they met the senior at the university (the drama girlie) HOW did she not recognize Lin Xi? It made it seem like they were strangers and she was just this girl that Ji Jun Xing was supposedly in a relationship with... Like, I wouldve assumed they wouldve became friends since they met the year prior and Ji Jun Xing was friends with her.

Also, why did they have so many side characters liking the mains? Song Lin Xue, who had a crush on Ji Jun Xing since they were kids, the classmate that had a vendetta against Lin Xi because she was better than her academically and Ji Jun Xing was friends with her, and Qin Kai liking Lin Xi. Like, thats so many and for what? I feel like one or MAX two wouldve been fine.

Fourth, Chen Mo and Gao Yun Lang were dating right? Or at least they had a crush on each other? Or Chen Mo did? It gave those vibes but it was never confirmed...

But, despite those weird situations, the show is actually really good and so cute. I thought their relationship was so cute. No matter what situation got in between them theyd always find a way back to each other. Its definitely a slow burn, but I think it made sense that it was a slow burn. Lin Xi had the fact that her brothers heart got donated to Ji Jun Xing on her mind all the time, so she wasnt focused on dating him because she saw him as a brother/friend. Of course feelings developed as Ji Jun Xing stopped being a closed off loner freak. But it was also cute in terms that all 6 of them became close friends. In the beginning it jusg seemed like Ji Jun Xing and Xie Ang were best friends, Chen Mo and Gao Yun Lang were best friends, and Lin Xi and Jiang Yi Mian became best friends, but to each other they were just classmates. Then they became close and stayed close for years to come. It was just a very heartwarming drama. I loved it!
