An average drama, with a frustrating story-line.
Don't let that synopsis fool you - About as close as this gets to a female powerhouse is only as long as it takes for the female lead to toss away 8 years of free-will just by landing in Thailand. Because, the writer has abandoned the story they started, going for a well-traveled 18-episode road to the finale. That opening sequence with the umbrella and note, a unicorn moment. Not even worth mentioning after a certain point. An average drama, that didn't deliver on most of it's original promises. That created frustrating characters; villains with no teeth; male lead with no backbone; side characters with no purpose; and family with far to many childish expectations. The story begins to meander from episode thirteen on, and just when you thought it may go full-on mystery reveal, it didn't. The final stumble, the female lead mom's secret - Proving the patriarch's words: women are to emotional, to lead. A final stray thought from a writer who wanted to do everything, and nothing, all at the same time. An average drama, with a frustrating story-line, that forgot it had purpose.

It had everything to be very good
This lakorn started very well, cute, with a woman determined to change her destiny and prove to her family that she can indeed be a businesswoman, she meets a CEO of a company by chance and asks him to be her girlfriend, the two quickly get together (I love when that happens) and spend quality time together, with lots of good kisses!! The story starts to go downhill when it involves the fl's family, which in itself is problematic and when ml's ex enters the picture, in addition to the ex being problematic she is also thrown into hitting on him at any opportunity and to make matters worse ml is sly, he lets his ex do what she wants and then he looks like a sorry dog, even though he knew that his ex was making up lies to separate the couple, he still said he was her "close friend" and kept secrets, I hated ml and him was the reason for the rating being reduced, besides the family plot being boring and boring, this drama is good to pass the time and that's all, I wouldn't rewatch it, at most just to see the kiss scenes which were the highlight and the acting which is very good. Was this review helpful to you?

"You Touched My Heart" follows Anne, a woman that always have been mistreated in her family, that's one of the reasons for her going to study overseas and not going back for a long time. When she finally returns, she meets Kuer and the two got entangled in each other's lives. Anne wants her revenge against her grandfather and to have power to help her mother.I had high expectations for this drama and ended up being quite disappointed. The story and characters are shallow, there is no depth at all... it lacks the energy of a lakorn and the biggest problem lies with the main couple, who are too boring.
Anne appears to be a strong, independent woman, but she falls in love too easily and completely forgets the reason why she returned to her family, but at the same time, she doesn't believe in Kuer, she finds any reason to distrust him and Phim. Of course, since the two are ex-boyfriends, seeing them together in certain intimate moments generates normal distrust, but Un was exaggerating. Everyone thought that Phim was pregnant with Kuer, so he went looking for evidence and found it, making Un finally trust him, but then that changed when Un saw an earring on Phim, the same one she found in Kuer's apartment, before they even started dating... spare me, it seemed like she was looking for reasons to leave him.
Un and Kuer's relationship developed very quickly, they barely knew each other and were already dating. At first, they couldn't stay away from each other and I can't complain because the kissing scenes are great and intense, but then the pace changes and the two just fight the whole time.
Noot's death was one of the best developments in the drama, because at least it was something different and the bastard deserved an ending like that... I don't like Phim, but he was much worse than her!
