A peculiar but fun kdrama about office romances and office relationships.
1/STORY:There is no real story here. It is rather the chronicles or the daily life of Gaus Electronics' Marketing team 3 with each member of the team being a weirdo like the ones that you can meet in an company or who are already in your own department: the overbearing perfectionist harsh female superior, the geek manager, the aged team leader, the colleague who belongs to a very rich family, the cold female coworker, the junior who tries to do his best but can't achieve anything and so on... And all these people try to make the team successful.
2/ WHAT I LIKED:
- The humour: mostly burlesque, physical, silly, goofy but rarely mean to people as persons and humans.
- The different type of love relationhips: weird ones, unexpected ones, unsuccessful ones…
- The SML: His family background, ambition, haircut, dedication, journey in the real world, lovelife... They could make a spin off with him.
3/ WHAT WAS LESS OK FOR ME:
- The story. The drama is not very memorable because of the lack of development of the characters apart from Aziz. I think they should have added a time jump for the lead couples. To explain that despite all the silliness, they still ended happy together.
- Some jokes were a bit complicated to understand for me. My bad for not knowing korean language but I did wish it was less “specific” at times.
4/ OST: It was fun
5/ REWATCHABLE VALUE: A lot of fun scenes but I would not rewatch. It is like comedy sketches that you enjoy in the moment then that’s it.
6/ OVERALL: A quite peculiar but very funny drama with its humour made of burlesque, physical and bodily humour, satire about office situations, parody of some dramas… Each episode brings its good laugh but also gently expose the human condition at work and the different relationships and attitudes between colleagues. It is not really memorable as the characters are not too developed but I do recommend it as each episode really made me smile and laugh. 9/10.

A not so fresh breeze of comedy
My first impression on this drama was overrated. However much like the majority of the reviews on this site i follow witha overall rating of 9.0
The strength of this drama does not lie in its cast or storyline as both are practically non existent. The Music was not memorable either, It has none of the required elements of a rom com that rate it high, .... but it kept me watching and had me binge watching the entire series in a day. While nothing fresh or new it has a comedic flow that just keeps you relaxed and not too anxious on what will happen next. Go in with no expectations but to laugh at some comedy similar to Pegasus Mart and you will have a good time.
( Romance scenes are not its strong point you have been warned! )

Funny af and charming but felt it ended too soon, needed more episodes
This show is super funny with amazing casts and even has a person of color there. A Korean actor who was born in Bangladesh, I liked that no one made any deal about it. He was just like everyone elseAlso he had so many funny lines. That's your bias and that's a stereotype bits were so funny.
But episode 1 of this show is bad lol, boring but if you can get past that then you'd love the show too
I love the leads here as well. The FL is super charming and funny and she had great chemistry with the ML, who sometimes got on the FL nerves a lot and always so fun to watch. But I feel like the show really ended way too soon. When I reached episode 12, I was like wait.. is that the finale wtf. Lol
They really could have used at least 16 episodes.
There are so many stuff that really left unanswered but it is a bitter sweet ending. See you tomorrow 😭
The 2nd FL is amazing af. Her reactions to stuff and her lines delivery are always so funny and she's super charming. She has great chemistry an) with the 2nd ML but she friend zoned him so hard in one episode, I was laughing nonstop.
There's a 3rd couple, well second to be honest since the second leads didn't actually get together.
I was surprised they paired two leads together. Since he appeared to be much older than her but that third couple was just there, there weren't any development for them. I did like the actress though
Overall I loved the show, very fun and snappy dialogues and quirky characters. Also the end credit was nice. All of them singing the name of the show. So cute.

SO MUCH FUN
I didn't expect to laugh out loud this much. I nearly bounced off it after the first ep - thought it was mildly amusing, but it didn't hook me - but from #2 onwards I couldn't stop watching it. All of the characters are ridiculously great, and the writing is really tight: there's a whole lot of clever in with the stupid, a ton of sly references, trope-twisting (especially loved how they twisted the Candy set-up) and fun surprises. If it hooks you I guarantee you will not be bored and you will wish it was longer. It isn't deep and meaningful, but it is thoroughly enjoyable, and it's the first drama I've watched that left me really hoping for a Season 2, because I need more of the second couple for sure! - and we never got to see how Aziz gets on in the office! - or what happens to Power! - aaaa so many possibilities. And it has high rewatch value for many reasons, not least that it will be fun going back and spotting Mr Anonymous. In short: YES! WATCH IT! and vote it up to increase the chances of more of it.Was this review helpful to you?
Best Office Romance Drama I need season 2
I am so obsessed with this show it is the literal definition of a romance comedy and has one of the best concept and storyline in an office romance drama😍 Anything to do with coming of age in the corporate industry and finding your soul mate i will always watch especially when done well. This show does the rivals to lovers trope well with the main couple especially coz they showed the journey of how they got to the love part of their story. I also love the other couples and side characters in the show especially Aziz, he definitely stole the show in my opinion. Now I really need Kwak Dong-yeon in more romance dramas as the main lead especially coz he's proven that he will be good at that role. Funniest office Kdrama I've ever watched
So at first I thought it was ridiculous and superficial then I saw few clips on instagram and I laughed hard while I was so stressed out so I decided to give it another watch of the first two episodes ,, some scenes were meh but some others were just so funny to burst out laughing just because of the laugh it self ,, I loved how I laughed from it so It grows on me to watch ityou want find any thing deep or meaningful about this drama ,, not the romantic not the office work ,, it's similar to sitcom but it's not and it's decent not inappropriate as most sitcoms
the characters are acting out of normal scope to make you laugh that's it ,, a lot of exaggerations for the laughs itself
if you want to unload long day of exhaustion this is your drama to watch
I'm sad it's finished ,,I want more
I didn't rate it higher because the script was mostly clichés and it didn't purpose meaningful point other than laughing

Impressive story writing, excellent acting, fun comedy
I came to see Kwak Dong Yeon in lead role because he impressed in vincenzo & queen of tears. Blown away by his acting and how he can be weak, yet strong, also making his naivete be endearing & admirable and not cringey or iriitating.Kudos to the writer for giving us multi layer characters and a fun story that quickly gets you rooting for the team. The character of Aziz was funny because of the courage to play on typical prejudices to enrich the humour instead of playing it safe. Please writerrs, we are waiting for more.
All actors did justice th their roles to create the right mix. I especially liked what Sazal Kim did with his character Aziz.
There were times where it slowed down a bit but then I quickly got hooked again with the next salvo of comedy. It is so refreshingly different from norm followed by many using the same old same old storylines. A nice recipe hoping for season 2.

Just A Good Time
Heard a lot of positive things about this coming in and was not disappointed! The ensemble cast is hilarious, each with their own unique quirks, and they have great acting chemistry. The romance aspect is surprisingly well done for drama that’s primarily a comedy. If you’re looking for a good time with lots of guffaws, check this one out!Was this review helpful to you?
HILARIOUS, sweet and surprisingly romantic.
This drama is one of the funniest ever, similar in goofiness to Pegasus Market but also having the heart and surprisingly wonderful rom-com elements of Welcome to Waikiki.Between all the laughs, jokes, and wonderful dynamics between all the characters, you are surprisingly introduced to multiple adorable couples, with the main couple, honestly becoming one of my favorite kdrama couples of ALL time. Their chemistry was so fire, and it is such an unexpectedly romantic story in between all the laughter. Aziz is the MVP and had me cracking up, if you watch it you will understand. Highly, highly. HIGHLY recommend this drama.

Really enjoyable workplace romcom!
There is a style of kdramas that are light and fun to watch. This drama slots in well with some of its peers, Pegasus Market and Chief Kim, for example. Its funny, sweet, and a good palate cleanser after watching some darker dramas. Its acted well too.Its a bit cruder than other kdramas but its one of the few kdramas that is laugh out loud funny. I don't know if it would hold up on a rewatch since its fairly straightforward but something revealed in the final episode might be interesting to go back and watch. Hope there are more of these types of kdramas coming out this year!

cute fluffy rom-com to end the year 2022
Dec. 24, 2022Gaus Electronics is a cute heartwarming fluffy rom-com to end the year. I feel like the Kdramas released lately for the past year or so has been very heavy and dark. So it is nice to have some rom-com to replenish and have like a break from these angsty melodramas.
Overall, Gaus Electronics follows the cliché troupe but I eat it up. Though I must say, I was more interested with the second lead couple plot more. I think it was just personal preference, I feel like the main lead just didn’t give me that suspense or interest to keep myself hook-up with their plot.
