Must watch series..
Everyone must watch this series. This is my first time reviewing for any drama....
So much SODIUM REDIUM AND POTASSIUM 😍
Fantastic storyline, casting, acting, song overall mind-blowing series. Trust me you will not disappointed.
I gave it a chance by watching the first 2 episodes and I'm so glad that I did give it a chance This is what we call pure chemistry between leads, A couple you won't get bored of. This duo is simply fantastic, It doesn't seem like it's their first lead role, they are that good at their respective roles. I've personally loved fourth's (tin) acting. He is so cute. Gemini was also fantastic actor.
I have watch many Bl series but this is first time I'm writing my review..
Thank you and all the best for the cast for you future.. susu na kráp..

So absurdly satisfying and good!
Giving a 10 to all the categories feels ridiculous even to me, but I had to be honest with the ratings and those are my honest feelings about this series: the plot is excellent, the acting is excellent, the music is excellent, and the characters are memorable and very easy to grow fond of, even the support roles. This series is not the kind that leaves you completely mind-blown, nor a cinematic masterpiece. What I believe makes it earn its score is how everything was taken care of extremely well, from the plot to the characterization to the various themes in the story.
Starting from the plot: it's very good. Since I've read and watched many (MANY) love stories with similar premises and tropes, I tried to guess the events and the conflicts from the very beginning, so you can imagine my surprise when the story just kept surprising me at every single turn - and I mean it in the best way possible.
If you've watched some series before, you might have felt frustrated by the plot for one reason or another: maybe because the main characters didn't communicate properly with each other, or because of silly decisions, or because of characters being annoyingly naïve or clueless, or even just because of tropes that were placed there to bring conflict and troubles. Sometimes I even start arguing with the screen when that happens.
Whoever wrote My School President probably finds them annoying and frustrating too, because there is none of that in the entire series. The plot flows nicely without obstacles that have no reason to be there other than to make things dramatic. This series is also the proof that you don't need any of that to make a story interesting, because I was almost unable to take away my eyes from the screen until I finished watching all the episodes. And I didn't argue with the screen (or felt the need to) even once.
I also believe that the mood of all the scenes was handled perfectly. The cute scenes are actually cute without feeling embarrassing or too mild, the funny moments are actually funny and never juvenile, and the dramatic and sad moments are handled with great care without making too big (and heavy) of a scene when they happen. There's great balance in all of it.
The acting is also great. The best performances were from Gemini and Fourth, and I have to say that it was an amazing first impression: the feelings and inner thoughts of their characters are vivid in their gaze and their actions at all times, I was amazed from the very first episode and that is also what got me so engaged. The dynamics between characters are also immaculate: all the friends feel like actual friends and there's no hint of awkwardness among them - if anyone told me that Chinzhilla is an actual band in real life with the same members as this series, I wouldn't even question it. The dynamics between parents and sons are also excellent, probably the best I've seen in any series so far. No character is flat, all of them have some level of depth and more facets than it might seem at the beginning.
The relationship between Tinn and Gun develops in stages, and I was able to see the characters slowly transform across the episodes. It's something I don't get to see often enough in any story and I loved it.
I usually don't pay attention to the music, but this time around it's necessary since it's one of the main elements of this series. Each episode comes with a new beautiful song that helps exploring the many emotions and situations that the characters go through, and the variety and quality made them all very memorable. It's not a musical, but music is a key element both for the plot and the character introspection, and I loved how the OST was used so well to communicate that.
Definitely one of the best series I've watched - not just among BLs, overall. It's hearwarming, cute, VERY satisfying, and just so, SO precious.
I recommend staying away if you're looking for "hot" kiss scenes or anything like that. If you're looking for pure chemistry and a healing plot, this is a must watch!

I am in love
This is my first BL for 2023 which I absolutely fell in love with and I'm sad it's over now.The story is about first love and what someone will do to make the other party happy.
In addition to the first love, it is also about the friendship of our 5 main characters. How they overcome difficulties together, argue and make up again and help and be there for each other.
This series is a safe one with no red flags.
The chemistry of the actors is wonderful and fun to watch. The side pairs disappoint just as little.
In every new episode I just sat in front of my laptop and was happy about the cuteness of the couples. It definitely won't be boring.

Sweetness Overload
Only when I thought I was done with BL series on high school romance since the concept has been milked for all its worth, we get this gem of a show. The characters are nothing but cute and their interactions with each other are natural. The plot is nothing new but what steals the show are the feelings of the characters and the beautiful portrayal of different relationships between people. We have friendship where everyone understands each other while each have their unique characteristic. They may be the best of friends but they bicker and fight constantly as well. We have love at first sight but its not attraction stemming from the beauty of the other person but genuine feelings growing out of sheer kindness. There are misunderstandings but are resolved through dialogue with unwavering trust in each other. There is jealousy which does not lead to irreconcilable fights. There is love where in you support your significant other every step of the way. We have the relationship between mother and son, where the mother plays the support system for the son and picking up the pieces when the son fails. A strong character who is understanding and motivating and also not sparing words when disciplining her son keeping him on track. Another mother and son relationship where there is respect but also a need to control to ensure her son’s successful future. There is also self-realization to allow her son the freedom to make his own choices just to see him happy.
This series is full of complex characters that thankfully aren’t two dimensional and all the actors have done justice to their roles. Fourth plays an eccentric leader of the music club that wants to win the recognition of his club members and the school. Bound by the conditions of the music club, he understands the pain of his lover but is consoling and affirmative about their relationship. Gemini plays the love-struck student who is ready to brave all obstacles to ensure Fourth faces no issues. A single-minded individual who will do anything to win the heart of his lover. You can sense his feeling when he gives a faint smile or looks dejected.
If there is ever a reason to watch this series, it has to be the fabulous acting, wonderful songs and the portrayal of relationships. This is how you do a romantic series with no unnecessary drama or fights between the 2 main leads. There is just one point that I would like to raise and that is the series fails to provide a reason for the animosity between Tinn and Sound.

A refreshing slice-of-life take on high school romance!
When Chinzhilla band is threatened to get disbanded by the student body president, Tinn (Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak), the lead singer of the band, Gun (Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul) is desperate to save his band. Unknown to Gun, Tinn has a secret crush on him and Tinn soon learns that Chinzhilla has a rule that the band members aren't permitted to date until they win the Hot Wave Music Contest – so Tinn becomes supportive of the band and will do whatever it takes to make Gun fall for him! This show gave me all sort of entertaining jokes. It was funny, slap-stick, silly, cute, swoony, and just a bit of cringy. The plot is simple but the execution is refreshing that it's surprisingly hooking. The whole cast were so expressive and lively, some of the scenes were them imagining, dreaming or reenacting some situation, these scenes were ha ha hilarious! XD. It got a bit mundane in some serious aspects but for the most part was still very entertaining and fun.
Despite the premise hinting enemies to lovers, the enemies part were very mild and brief... The relationship progression of Tinn and Gun was healthy and innocent. They embrace first loves awkwardly, but always support each other through all their ups and downs. Their flirting was so cute and making me wish they went a bit spicier. Yes, this drama is not spicy, not that I mind it as I'm satisfied with their romance. Also, they have the most adorable wingman, Thiu! That's another plus point about this series, that each character was appreciated and wholesome.

Teased too much!
I'm at episode 11 and I will drop this now.I was rooting for this series and praising it a lot. The first 3 episodes were very entertaining. The style of storytelling was different. First, we learned about Gun's POV, then about Tinn's. There was some mystery involved about why the school president was doing what he was doing. This series felt very fresh with great storytelling. The plot was dumb and clumsy, but the humor and the charms of the characters made this hilarious. Both Gemini and Fourth were not only casted for their good looks, but for their great musical talents. In fact this feels like a musical BL series. The songs are great. Both have great voices. Both can act. The side characters are gerat too.
So why did I drop it before the finishing line? I guess I'm too old for such series that are only cute and cute and - did I say cute? There is not enough tension or conflict. The characters are nice and do their best to live good lives and be decent people. While I normally enjoy such characters, there is just nothing to look forward. I didn't enjoy the plot with the sick mother which started around ep 4, even though it was executed well. I think I liked ep 6 when they went on a date, because some progress was to be seen in their relationship. Then they dragged the plot with the musical contest out too much, though I know this is an important part of the story. Later they introduced a side couple that I didn't like to be honest. They apparantly have time for everyting, but NOT for showing us some progress in the relationship of the main characters. For people who enjoy a cute musical series with some cute boys, I can recommend My School President. But I personally enjoy a series that pulls on my heart strings and were I sit on the edge of my seat. That's not the case here. I wasn't even well entertained for the last couple of episodes.
So why did I drop it at last minute? The simple reason: they are teasing us with kisses. That's shabby. Those two actors are very young. At the beginning I thought we wouldn't get a kiss at all, which is fine. The story is on the cuter side, no need for heavy make-out sessions. But the teasing! I don't like it. It's not cute. Don't create those almost-kiss-situations. It honestly comes across as if they didn't want to go that far. It's just strange. As if they were insecure about their feelings at this point. They don't give us good explanation why they don't kiss. They just create those cute scenes, put them into the previews and the thumbnail so people will watch. They are making a fool out of the viewers. No, thank you. I won't watch that kiss if it will ever happen. I'm not that thirsty. So ep 12 gets no views from me.
I would rate this with a solid 9. But the enjoyment got lost along the way, so I would still give it 8.5, because objectively speaking this is pretty good. Now I'm pissed about those tease-kisses and I will only give it 7.5.
They went too far.
I'm still waiting for that one series where two characters get together, have a normal relationship with causal showing of physical affection, with causal kisses without making a big deal out of it. So as a viewer you can feel and see they are together. They failed again. Not as hard as 2gether did, but they failed.

A history that feels like home
My School President is the kind of show that sneaks up on you, not with spectacle or big twists, but with warmth. In a TV landscape full of heavy plots and high-stakes heartbreak, it feels like a small refuge, a pocket of comfort you can slip into whenever life gets a bit too loud. The premise is simple enough, but simplicity isn't a flaw here; it’s part of the charm. From the very first episode, the series mixes comedy, teen romance, and a soft thread of melancholy in a way that feels intentional, unpretentious, and honestly refreshing. I watched it once, then watched it again, and somewhere along the way it just became one of my comfort shows. Even now, after several rewatches, every episode still lands with that same gentle warmth in my chest. At the center of it all are Tinn and Gun, whose romance is the emotional anchor of the series, and the reason so many viewers fall headfirst into this story. Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat might be newcomers, but they act with a level of sincerity that makes their chemistry feel almost effortless. Their dynamic isn’t built on melodrama or forced misunderstandings; it’s built on support, affection, and those little moments that say more than a dramatic speech ever could. And yes, even something as silly and sweet as using chemical formulas to flirt (Na Ra K, “narak,” meaning “cute”) becomes a moment worth swooning over. Their relationship is one of those rare teenage romances that feels both idealized and entirely believable.
But My School President doesn’t rely on its leads alone. The supporting cast is full of characters who could easily carry their own stories, and they bring a sense of community that gives the show real emotional texture. Satang Kittiphop, Ford Arun, and the rest of the lineup make even the shorter scenes feel lived-in and real. Their friendships are messy in all the normal ways, teasing, arguing, forgiving, but there's a sincerity to the way the show treats these connections that keeps everything grounded. It understands that teenage life isn’t just about first love; it’s about learning how to trust, how to show up for people, and how to let yourself be shown up for in return.
And then there’s the music. You can’t talk about My School President without talking about Chinzhilla, the fictional band that ends up giving the whole show its heartbeat. The soundtrack isn’t just background noise; it’s part of the storytelling. Performances weave into emotional beats, lyrics echo unspoken feelings, and suddenly you realize the show has built an entire atmosphere around you. “Just Being Friendly” stayed stuck in my head for weeks, and honestly, I didn’t mind. It felt like carrying a piece of the show around with me.
What sets the series apart is its tone, soft without being dull, emotional without being overdramatic, and surprisingly sincere in the way it handles the awkwardness and vulnerability of being young. There’s a real affection in the writing, a willingness to let characters fail, hesitate, and change without punishing them for it. Dreams, fears, friendship, first love, the show hits all the familiar notes, but it does so with an honesty that makes everything feel new again.
As the story moves toward its final stretch, the emotional stakes rise in a way that feels earned. The last episodes deliver some of the most heartfelt moments in the series, balancing joy with a kind of gentle sadness that sticks with you long after the screen fades to black. The ending isn’t tragic by any means, but it carries that bittersweet ache that comes from saying goodbye to something that mattered. I wasn’t expecting to cry, and yet there I was, crying anyway, because it didn’t feel like just a show ending; it felt like parting ways with people I’d grown attached to.
And maybe that’s the real magic of My School President: it makes small emotions feel big, and big emotions feel safe. It turns everyday teenage uncertainties into tender, meaningful beats. It gives you characters who feel like friends and moments that feel like memories. In a world where so many series try to impress you, this one just tries to hold you, and somehow, that ends up being far more powerful.
In the end, My School President isn’t just heartwarming; it’s restorative. It feels like a warm hug disguised as a story, the kind of show you return to not because you forgot what happened, but because you want to feel that softness again. It’s already become one of my safe places, and I know I’ll keep coming back to it whenever I need a reminder that kindness, sincerity, and a little bit of teenage love can still make the world feel lighter.

The most perfect show ever
I'm a sucker for fluffy, drama free shows. The amount of happiness I get when I see a show like that is undescribable. Even though I'm not a fan of high school shows I decided to give My School President a chance and it just blew my mind. It just hit all the things that I love in a show: Good story telling, amazing characters, INCREDIBLE music, among other things.First let me talk about the music. It's completely AMAZING. From the covers to the original OST everything is perfect and matches the story of every episode. Needless to say everyone does an amazing job. From Fourth's versatile vocals, to Satang's sweet voice, to Ford's powerful yet soft vocals and to Gemini's incredible falsetto. They all make an incredible job delivering the feeling of the songs. And also let's not forget Winny's rap!
For me the music is a very important part of a show: if I like the music I will love the show, as simple as that and MSP is no exception to the rule.
Now the story. Yes it's simple, yes it's cliche. But the writers demonstrated that you can make a masterpiece out of a very simple plot if you make it right. The way each episode has it's own story while still moving the main plot is just incredible. The way there are no useless misunderstandings because this characters know about communication and it gives room to develop them to another level. The way the show is mostly fluff and comedy but it gets serious when it needs to and it's made wonderfully.
Now the characters. I don't think I've ever watched a show where I LOVE all the characters. There's always at least one person I don't like, sometimes even the entire group of friends is completely annoying to me (Bad Buddy I'm talking about you). But on MSP every character is adorable and lovable. Even the parents. First ee have our main characters, Tinn and Gun. Tinn is a sweetheart and the best boy ever. His love for Gun is adorable and wholesome. The way he's ready to do anything and everything just to see Gun being happy. Gun is another sweetheart. He's a great friend and an amazing son and I think that he's also ready to do everything for Tinn. Their love is just so sweet and pure that I just want to scream how much I love them. The we have Sound, one of my favorite characters along with Tinn and Tiw. The character development of Sound is what I like to watch in a show. He started as a cold and very rude guy to become the sweetest amd softest boy for Win. The way he respects and cares for Gun now and is even part of Chinzhilla's traditions and crazyness warms my heart. Tiw is literally the best friend and boy ever. And my Chinzhilla babies are just cutie pies that deserve the world. I love them so so much. The friendship and family love is as important as the romantic love and that is something that I always appreciate. Nothing sweeter than loving and supporting friends and parents.
The cast does an impecable job at portraying their characters and let us now exactly what they are feeling and the chemistry between the whole cast is off the charts, specially the chemistry between Fourt and Gemini. Those two have completely stolen my heart.
I have already rewatched the show so many times I fall in love more and more everytime.
I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to shows, specially bls. I've have watched a lot but not as many as other people, but I can confidently say that this has become my comfort show and my complete favorite.

Something sweet for the kids
I'm starting this review by saying that BL fans can seriously be some of the most annoying people on earth. After watching My School President I came to MDL to read the comments and was baffled to find people comparing this show to KinnPorsche, The Eighth Sense, or Not Me. Are you actually serious? That's like trying to extract the same value from Barbie: Swan Lake and The Godfather. Apples to oranges comparison. BL has made some of you think that gay people are a genre. For what it's worth and the audience it's actually intended for, My School President is a fantastic show. The story is cute and unique, and the audience is sympathetic to the two leads throughout the plot. Fourth is an eye-catching actor with an acute grasp on subtlety and nuance, making for a standout performance onscreen. All I kept thinking throughout the show is wow he's almost perfect. A little work on his crying and he'll be putting some other gmmtv "actors" out of business.
The chemistry between Gemini and Fourth clearly translates well into the characters of Tinn and Gun. Every side character also contributed to the story in a well-rounded manner. Being honest, people adore Winny Satang and I don't really see it that much myself, but they fit the characters of Win and Sound who added an extra dynamic to the show's vibe that kept it interesting.
My only thing is that I cannot stand when people sing in dramas. I can't bear to listen to it, so I skipped every single singing part in the show which is a lot considering My School President is practically a musical. I'm sure I wasn't able to fully appreciate the show without the songs, but I can still appreciate it for everything else. When it comes to the high school setting I get scared sometimes that a show will push some questionable boundaries, but My School President was pleasantly wholesome and a lovely watch.

A great teenage story about love, dreams and music
This is one of the best teenage romcoms ever made. It has no contrived conflicts, no toxic power dynamic and no unnecessary drama. Yet, it's not just a cute and fluffy show. It doesn't treat teenagers as nuisance. It doesn't treat problems faced by youth as trivial. Most importantly, it doesn't treat homosexuality as a fantasy. I would recommend this show to any LGBTQ+ youth and to any cynical old souls like me.Fourth and Gemini are two of the best young actors in recent memory. Tinn and Gun's love story made me feel every smile, every tear and every kiss. Their relationship is sweet, healthy and unwavering. Every single song in this show is great and meaningful. Every side character is important and has a story of their own. Chinzhilla, the band, is a story in itself with which you'll be taking a journey of a lifetime. Lastly, it is one of the most creative shows I've ever seen. The cast and crew really put their heart and soul into it.
