SO sweet I died!
Give this a chance! I realized MDL reviews tend to be really critical sometimes. Honestly, there are many times where I enjoyed the show despite the rating only 7. Similarly, sometimes high rated show isn't as good as it is, it's sometimes just hype. This show is one of those gem that's UNDERRRATED but WORTH WATCHING!
Oh my gosh, the last episode, it's SO sweet, I died..lol
I love how simple this drama is.
No complicated plot twists, no overly done drama, no toxicity,- just pure, innocent, love.
There are moments we think they could have handled the situation better" But,Bear in mind, it's a youth love after all. I mean, they are still young and learning what love is about, so spare them some grace
Overall, I really enjoyed the show a lot, totally become a fan of Joong after this.
There's one open ending in last episode, but I guess that's because there's a follow-up show after that? I'm not sure, gotta check. Apart from that, as far as the main couple is concerned, its very well done.
Neat, sweet and simple lovey dovey ending :)

Not Everyone's Favorite Star (but I loved it, so~)
Story: 8.5/10This is another "I liked him first, but he fell harder and just happens to be dumber" situation, which can make it seem a bit predictable, but I think it's still cute~ The first few episodes start out SO STRONG. I loved the way Daonuea and his friends interacted, and the way his sibling relationship was shown; it was so heartwarming and wholesome and just overall accurate. The way they support Dao while also knowing he was full of shit when he said he was over his crush was best-friend-level-tier, you know? The conflict was a bit... much. This story, like many of BLs, suffers from a lack of communication. Well, I should say PROPER communication, as Kluen is more of a doer than a sayer, which pretty much sums up all of their problems. His actions speak louder and way better than his words, but that's not always enough, especially when the other party was explicit and you kinda-not-really-but-technically-did turn them down. If that sounded confusing to you, then that's because it really is a bit confusing. One of the side characters says that Kluen is "book smart but a dumbass," and she's right. These characters are a bit too complex to try to fit into 8 episodes, but I think Dunk (Daonuea) and Joong (Kluen) did great with what they had, which is why I, despite hating the miscommunication, still enjoyed the show~
Acting/Casting: 10/10
We got all of my new favorite actors, even the side characters are some of my favs, so I'm a bit biased here, but I think they did great with what they had. Everyone felt so necessary, even Noel, whom I thought was just an extra to show that Kluen had a friend aside from Gia, ended up being an important player in an interesting way~
Music: 9/10
The OST is good, and there's nothing wrong with the background music or anything; I generally just tend to rate music based on how many songs I absolutely NEED to get on my playlist, and, with all of these great shows coming out with their soundtracks being ON-POINT, I'm spoiled. I felt generous since everyone keeps talking shit on this show, though, so I gave it a higher rating than I probably would have.
Rewatch Value: 10/10
Despite it's flaws and the annoying miscommunication, I still really enjoyed this show. Like I said, the first few episodes were so good and sweet that I had to go to the dentist and get some teeth pulled from the cavities lmao KluenNuea's moments were fluffy and hit just the right spot that I just.. Ugh. So good. I'm actually writing this review after watching 5 times to help boost the rating since DramaList tends to be super harsh on shows for some reason~ (Everyone wishes they were a Critic Writer, I suppose 🤷♀️)
Overall: 9.5/10
People on DramaList really do think they're connoisseurs with shows sometimes, especially when others really like specific actors. I'm not entirely sure why, but if the rating of the show is the only thing making you hesitate to watch this, then I recommend going for it anyway. It's not everyone's cup of tea, of course, but it's also only 8 episodes, so it's a short, cute watch when you need some BL or JoongDunk in your life -- it doesn't have to be serious or something you binge, though I absolutely did binge it several times with no shame~ The production was great, the OST was good, the acting was on-point, and I just love how everyone interacts with each other in this drama, from the romance to the friendships; it's all so fluffy and sweet~

i finished this months ago but i have to say this
after seeing this series be hyped up like crazy on my tiktok fyp, i finally decided to watch it, and now i wish i didnt. i keep rewatching it like crazy. i have formed some sort of attachment to the characters idk how to deal with. i Never rewatch anything after in done with it bc i just dont have the patience for it. however i could watch this series 5 times back to back and i would still enjoy it like its my first time.theres nothing showstopping about the plot, its a pretty common thai bl plot, idk what sets it apart from other bls but its just. Different.
i just had to write this review and get these words off of my chest because ive been thinking of writing this review since the morning, where i decided to rewatch it for the 6th time.

I needed this
I started this series because of two (alright, three) reason: I needed something simple and I wanna watch the Our Skyy 2, plus I'm in love with JoongDunk since THK. I'm not disappointed: this is what I expected from this. Sweet, not really complicated university drama: perfect after some serious BL. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm writing this review because I've seen a lot of hate in the comments and I wanna compliment them. I can see, that this is their first drama together, but this doesn't mean, that they aren't good together. Was this review helpful to you?

i just loved this. a lot. a lot.
idk why the reviews are so on the fence about it--it's a sweet story with good actingit's on the simpler side but i liked that, i think a lot of thai bl's have a plot that's all over the place but this one actually makes sense
also no cringe ad-type-scenes like in other bl ((guess they had enough budget to stick to more subtle product placement) and i already said it but the acting is good imo
ofc it has some unnecessary drama but not to the point it gets super frustrating, it's a lot less than other thai BLs i've seen and well, this IS a drama so it's part of the genre
also i really loved the friend group and other side characters, they had distinct personalities and felt rounded
i lowkey highkey want a drama abt Maithee, i think he is v fun and a sweet friend but also feels like the kinda character who's always joking around and bc he's scared of getting hurt/opening up and i'd love if that was explored in his own story--maybe with sean or phoon or someone else entirely ((ngl kinda shipped him with prince but that can't happen for obvious reasons))
anyway i highly recommend this drama

I almost didn’t watch it after reading bad reviews but I’m really glad I did
There are too many bad reviews for this series…Look, if you’re expecting a BL unlike anyone you’ve seen before then you’ll be disappointed. Although this is yet another story set at a university where the main character competes for the campus moon title - it’s still a super sweet drama with a more romantic and adorable love story than can be found in most BL’s.
A lot of the bad reviews I’ve read say they dislike the acting, I for one didn’t have an issue with it though but to each their own.
I enjoy watching BL’s that are like this one cause they’re quite simple and make me feel good.
If you’re looking for something simple but sweet to pass the time with then this is the perfect drama for you.

The beautiful journey of Dao and Kluen
I really enjoyed this little show and watching Kluen and Dao on their journey to finally be together. The story isn't something new and based on a novel which I would love to read some time. I guess the story itself took a shortcut through the novel and seemed a bit rushed in some parts. That didn't really bother me because the story was carried well by the cast. Dunk as the main character Dao, did a fantastic job as a newbie actor. He is perfectly paired with Joong and they have incredible chemistry. Joong played his first lead role here and he portrayed Kluen absolutely perfect. The rest of the cast did an amazing job as well as a very loveable friend group and a big support for the lead characters. What is absolutely outstanding is the music in this series with two beautiful songs by Joong and Louis. For me personally this show has a high re-watch value, espacially because it's short and has a beautiful and cute story. It's for sure not an award-winning level show but the whole production is really nice and it is really enjoyable to watch. For sure this series is not perfect by all means but it definitely presents a wonderful, cute but also realistic take on falling in love. Both main characters have their issues to overcome but it's never too overly dramatic and in the end gives us a valuable lesson: love sometimes takes time. Was this review helpful to you?

Cliche but so cute
Honestly this has become one of my favorite shows ever. Its cute, has tons of fluffy scenes, doesn't overly sexualize the characters and while it is short it gives the characters time to be able to develop and get together in a natural way instead of having them fight in every episode and then make up in the very last one. There's no toxic exes, and any miscommunication is resolved within 2 episodes at most. The storyline is pretty cliche but there is something about this one that just stuck with me. It's not for everyone, (especially if you're into more intense dramas) but i do think it's worth watching at least once. Was this review helpful to you?
A Story That is Better Than Most
This is the kind of BL series I want.No toxicity, no 3rd party, no fake friends, no complicated story line, just pure love with each character., and the conflict between them. To me, the whole story revolves around one simple line - "Have A Safe Flight." Misunderstandings and two persons, one who lacks trust and one who cannot express his feelings.
The cast is excellent, the two main characters both very good looking, have the ability to convey their feelings through their expressions. I binge watched and was never bored, never felt the need to fast forward through any scenes.
If I have any complaints; lack of realistic kiss scenes. Honestly, when I watch a bl series fake kisses are a bit of a turn-off. My rating would have been a 10 if the kiss scenes were more realistic. Still, the series is one I will watch again someday.

Heart Fluttering & Comfort show.
I loved this show so much. I mean the storyline is so simple and showcased in such a grounded manner that you instantly fall in love with.I love the cast and their chemistry is top notch. Everytime they both come on the screen my heart flutters. I also love the simplicity of their characters.
Their is no dragging, no confusions, no overdramatic scenes. They like each other, they feel it and accept it.
Side cast has also done a good job and their characters are also likeable like other persons in our life.
Talking about OST - Good ✔️
Cinematography - Good ✔️

better than the other one but not by a lot
That ending told me that I should have watched this one first instead of Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart. The other one has an 8.5, but this one I think is better. Its average was 8.3. I am supposed to be working on a research paper, but whatever. I love jealous ones; I am just going to say it. It shows they care, and I know it's so toxic, but they are so good. The reviews shouldn't be this low. It's not a bad show; there are no serious plot twists that make no sense. like it was expected, and that made me happy. I love these actors to death. Daonuea being worried about Kluen having a crush on him now because he likes him. I understand that. There were a lot of valid concerns that were relatable, and I liked that about it. The drunk scenes were consistent, and I like when dramas are consistent with their shit. Some characters actually served no purpose, but that's okay. Fah being that protective older brother was actually so cute. He cares so much, and it makes me happy. Dao saying that he's his brother but no one is listening was funny. Fah is my king, and there were a lot of moments with him and Dao, but we needed more older trouble with serotonin. It was adorable. It's not a bad show; it gets an 8 out of 10 stars from me. Okay bye!Was this review helpful to you?
