Mixture of emotions
they made me smile laugh cry everything in the end.I loved the progress of the plot with their relationship and how the father expressed his love for his son.
the last few mins they made me cry a lot , such an amazing plot

The story follows Ming-han, a tough, homophobic police officer who doesn’t believe in superstitions. His life takes an unexpected turn when, by accident, he marries the ghost of Mao Mao, a young gay man who died under mysterious circumstances. Bound together by the Taiwanese tradition of “ghost marriage,” Ming-han must help Mao Mao solve the mystery of his death in order to free him from limbo.
The comedy stems from the dynamic between a stubborn cop and a ghost with a vibrant and slightly dramatic personality. The action sequences are well executed and exciting, while the mystery keeps the audience hooked until the very end. However, what truly stands out is the relationship between Ming-han and Mao Mao, which evolves in a moving way, exploring themes of acceptance, prejudice, and the true meaning of love.
Although I didn’t think I would enjoy it at first, I can honestly say that Marry My Dead Body is a film that will make you laugh, cry, and keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s an original and refreshing story that proves love and connection can transcend even death. If you’re looking for a movie that will surprise you and touch your heart, this is definitely one to watch.

Brilliantly done!
Honestly this is sooo good. It had me laughing, eye rolling, and even crying.The story is unique and fun. I loved Mao and how he shot him down every time with his gay stereotypes. The mole was a surprise too which was good and the dad at the end 🥺
The two main leads worked so well together and I was so glad when Ming Han gave Chen a piece of his mind. I think he loved Mao in the end in his own way.
I could totally watch this again too, it was funny and that’s always a plus! Also despite knowing it’s impossible you stop find yourself hoping there’s a way around death for these two 🤪
It was such a good watch you need to go try it.

Brilliant, funny and sad
This was brilliant. It had humour and sadness (made me cry). It was a little silly at times but funny silly.Really interesting story. Greg Hsu who played the cop ming han, was brilliant and dopey at times and sweet when needed.
Austin Lin who plays the dead Mao Mao was super gorgeous, played the gay character well and dead character well. We all need a Mao Moa in our life.
Mao’s dad breaks your heart at the end and his granny was delightful, super supportive.
Well acted, great script and just an all round nice show. I would watch this again and I seriously dont watch much a second time.

"My Husband"
The funnest movie I've watched all year and a joy to experience!Inclusive, crude humour - 'don't drop the soap' - and a solid plot with amazing actors who brought this story to life!
If you're on the fence, watch it.
If a second movie is made, it'll be a treat to have Mao-mao come back as a girl and watch Ming-han grapple with being attracted to her, knowing who she used to be.

Great Movie
I really enjoyed watching this movie! Acting by all was really good especially the leads they did an extremely well job. Honestly I was disappointed in the ending I was really rooting for them, by some miracle, to get together and of course live happily ever after! I mean who wouldn’t. other than that it really was a fun movie to watch and I’m glad I did!what would be even better though is if they did a sequel and then they get together and live happily ever after! of course writers gotta write a whole new story, but it would be worth it! Great Job everyone including the Director 👍👍👍

roller-coaster of a movie
Start to finish this was an interesting watch. I was fully engaged the whole time. It has action, comedy, romance, the works, and all of it's decent.It is, to be fair, very weird. The premise is a little odd but the execution is even more so. Half the time I barely had a grip on what was happening - but I somehow feel like that enhanced the experience. And eventually things all come together in a neat, satisfying package.
If you like slightly-weird-but-genuinely-good movies, you won't regret watching this one.

Worth it watching!
Have to say that a while ago I I started the movie but never finished watching it.But the last I dared to watch it "again" and it was awesome!

I've never watched a movie with a marriage like that but it was soo interesting!

I liked the actors too!
Especially the main actors.
They seemed to have experience and I'm glad that these actors got the roles.
The music was also fitting depending on the scene.

It wasn't really a bl like I'm used to,but it was a funny,
action packed movie,which I would definetely watch again!
I don't really know if I'm happy with the ending,but it's OK:)
And you can see from the quality and some scenes that this movie is very qualitative.
It was worth watching,even tho I sometimes cried lol They touched my heart with this story and these roles.

Very fun and also moving
This film has some very funny moments but it deals well with the heavy subject matter and has some very moving scenes as well. The plot is interesting and moves at a good pace. I especially loved how they handle the ending, I thought it was perfectly done. The movie gets better and better as it goes on and the characters have some really nice development. NOT a BL, but worth the watch
I had hoped to watch this movie, since it was released in Taiwan, bunt unfortunately I had to wait half a year.I'm an absolute BL addict, I thought this could be another supernatural-loves-human BL. But it isn't. It's something different. Something very funny, chaotic and mostly thought-provoking. An homophobic ass of a policeman, badmouthed gays and gets himself into trouble, picks up an envelope with remnants of a dead gay guy, and so he accepted the marriage to the ghost.
So, maybe now there will be some hints to the story, stop reading if you won't be spoiled.
I love how the two guys find a way to understand each other an embrace the strengths and weaknesses of the other and try to fulfill the last wishes of the ghost. With a lot of action, chaos, fun and a lot of verbal battles.
Although the policeman is brash and cocky, he has a sweet heart and a soft spot for his ghostly husband. I can't describe it, but it has catched me off guard. It's kind of heartwarming, shows how you develop an understanding for things you thought you wouldn't ever understand and how some impacts in your life can change you into a better person. I can really recommend the movie.
