Very fun and also moving
This film has some very funny moments but it deals well with the heavy subject matter and has some very moving scenes as well. The plot is interesting and moves at a good pace. I especially loved how they handle the ending, I thought it was perfectly done. The movie gets better and better as it goes on and the characters have some really nice development. I love this film! I really like sad ending stories, like I said before, but this got me so much. I didn’t expect that at all and, from the beginning maybe a bit that was the idea of a sad ending, but I didn’t believe much in it. The actors were fire! I don’t know them very well, but I know for sure they will have a bright future.Also this time I was alone at home, so when my parents returned home, they were worried because they saw me crying on the sofa again!
I explained a bit the story to my mom but she didn’t understand it very well, so I want to watch it with her because I think she would like it. ( I also showed her Khemjira, she has taste, believe me)

NOT a BL, but worth the watch
I had hoped to watch this movie, since it was released in Taiwan, bunt unfortunately I had to wait half a year.I'm an absolute BL addict, I thought this could be another supernatural-loves-human BL. But it isn't. It's something different. Something very funny, chaotic and mostly thought-provoking. An homophobic ass of a policeman, badmouthed gays and gets himself into trouble, picks up an envelope with remnants of a dead gay guy, and so he accepted the marriage to the ghost.
So, maybe now there will be some hints to the story, stop reading if you won't be spoiled.
I love how the two guys find a way to understand each other an embrace the strengths and weaknesses of the other and try to fulfill the last wishes of the ghost. With a lot of action, chaos, fun and a lot of verbal battles.
Although the policeman is brash and cocky, he has a sweet heart and a soft spot for his ghostly husband. I can't describe it, but it has catched me off guard. It's kind of heartwarming, shows how you develop an understanding for things you thought you wouldn't ever understand and how some impacts in your life can change you into a better person. I can really recommend the movie.

this movie was good, i cried my eyes out. I would simply dont rewatch because i dont wanna cry again ;(but you should still watch it. it was worth it

A GOOD CREATIVE COMEDY, FAIR TO GAY BUT MAYBE UNFAIR TO STRAIGHT
What I like about this movie is only the friendship that the two leads have built althrough their searching of who killed the Gay ghost.I thought I was not going to finish it but since the acting and the comedy is great and entertaining, thankfully I was able to finish it.
the story is good and easy to understand but I don't like it, but since they have elaborated it nicely, It is good enough
I liked also the effects, I notice that this movie have many computer effect and it is really good and looks real !
And having a plot like a gay ghost and a homophobic police being entangled to one another is such a good Idea.
What I realize about this movie is that maybe they are trying to make gays and straight understand one another, because along the way, the police straight man understood the gay ghost when he helped him until the moment where he was talking to the ghost gay's father, which I skipped some parts of it by the way, and yeah, But I think that it is unfair that gays are always the one who needs understanding, even the fact that in this movie the writer MAYBE wants straight people understand LGBTQIA+, I hope that this is an eye opener also for LGBTQIA+ specially gays to be fair to straights people also because it should not always be that gays are the ones who are being understood and have adjusted into.
know that we cannot make every people agree with us, if they understand us that is great if not, we should not push them to eat what we are eating just because we think it is good, I am saying this because I have seen so many unfair things to the straight people in this movie.

Quando il nonsense funziona meglio della vuota profondità.
Commedia soprannaturale taiwanese, presente su piattaforma Netflix ,costruita attorno a un poliziotto omofobo che finisce accidentalmente “sposato” con il fantasma di un ragazzo venuto a mancare in un tragico incidente, dentro una storia che mescola indagine, maledizioni e ghost marriage. Il punto forte è proprio il suo paradosso: una premessa assurda che non resta a livello di buffonata ma usa il caos per infilare dentro anche il tema dell’identità queer e del pregiudizio, in un contesto taiwanese dove il matrimonio tra persone dello stesso sesso è legale solo da qualche anno.Interpretazioni: Greg Hsu, Austin Lin e Gingle Wang sono il trio su cui il film si regge anche quando la sceneggiatura decide inciampa; loro restano credibili e tengono in piedi il gioco senza trasformarlo in una sagra del niente. È il felice caso in cui gli attori capiscono perfettamente il tono, stare dentro una follia dichiarata senza scivolare in una commedia dell'assurdo, nel grottesco nonsense, e secondo me ci riescono.
Sceneggiatura e regia: Il film è diretto da Cheng Wei-hao, che lavora sul confine tra commedia, crime e soprannaturale con una mano abbastanza sfrontata da sembrare quasi un autosabotaggio, e invece no, il meccanismo parte, corre e ogni tanto ti sorprende pure. Le recensioni internazionali lo hanno descritto come un "crowd-pleaser "esagerato e divertente, capace di demolire i pregiudizi con leggerezza più che con la predica; ed è proprio lì che sta il suo colpo migliore, perché la scrittura è talmente folle da diventare creativa, e in certi momenti persino geniale nella sua sfrontatezza.
Musica: consiglio della Ost “Untitled” di Jolin Tsai, uscita il 9 dicembre 2022 come tema del film una canzone leggera e malinconica che si sposa perfettamente con l'atmosfera e le intenzioni del film. È una scelta molto azzeccata perché accompagna bene quel tono da commedia sgangherata che, sotto sotto, sa anche essere tenera.
In sintesi: non è un film di alta levatura, è un Bmovie, chiaro, non finge nemmeno di essere meglio di ciò che è; però ha una faccia tosta che funziona, un’idea centrale memorabile, interpreti solidi e una follia abbastanza ben scritta da lasciarti il sorriso addosso. È una di quelle cose che magari non ti cambiano la vita, ma ti ricordano che il cinema ogni tanto può anche essere una "sberla allegra". Quante risate, LOL.
Con Marry My Dead Body mi sono fatta due ore liete, leggere, senza pretese, che ogni tanto serve più di un capolavoro che ti lascia stremata. È uno di quei film che ti sorprendono perché infilano dentro scene che sembrano uscite da una commedia americana di bassissimo livello, roba che non ti aspetteresti mai di ritrovare in un contesto taiwanese… e invece eccole lì, con quell’energia un po’ sbilenca e totalmente consapevole di esserlo.
Ed è proprio questo il punto: funziona perché non si dà arie! È spassoso, allegro, spensierato, e soprattutto non prova a venderti una profondità che non ha. A differenza di tanti BL fatti male : pieni di silenzi studiati, primi piani infiniti e sguardi intensi che dovrebbero dirti tutto ma in realtà non reggono nulla, qui la scrittura non bluffa. Non finge. Non si prende troppo sul serio.
È un film che non ha ambizioni alte, e proprio per questo centra il bersaglio. Fa quello che promette: intrattiene, diverte, e ogni tanto sorprende pure. E sì, tecnicamente ha i suoi limiti: inseguimenti e incidenti sembrano usciti da un videogioco economico, con effetti che fanno sorridere.
Però, in mezzo a tutto questo, si respira comunque una certa modernità, un ritmo contemporaneo che lo tiene vivo.
Per questo, senza troppi giri di parole, per me è un 7 pieno. Non per quello che è “oggettivamente”, ma per quello che riesce a fare: intrattenere senza spacciarsi per qualcosa di più, e nel contesto asiatico, non è poco!

semi - Aksi ; kriminal ; horror beraroma BL.
Menurutku film ini punya cerita yang unik, walaupun disuguhkan dengan durasi yang sangat lama yaitu dua jam ; namun entah kenapa selama menonton aku tidak merasa ada di fase bosan. Setiap scene membuatku penasaran sehingga memacuku untuk terus menonton film ini hingga akhirnya sampai difase aku merasakan keseruan dan menariknya film yang satu ini. Mengisahkan seorang polisi pria yang secara tidak sengaja harus menikahi seorang hantu pria. Walaupun terlihat punya cerita yang sederhana, namun film ini tidak hanya memberikan cerita semudah itu, film ini memiliki banyak sekali life meaning yang bagus. Dari segi warna ; film ini punya saturasi yang rendah, seperti film horror. jejak CGI masih terlihat, namun cukup bagus, dialog dan alurnya mudah difahami. Penokohannya saya suka walaupun ada beberapa scene yang saya tidak menyukainya, entah kenapa mungkin beberapa scene memang "it's not my coffee" aja gt. UM VERDADEIRO TRAUMA CINEMATOGRÁFICO.E um filme surreal de bom,você ri o filme todo para no final você chorar que nem uma condenada,eu já sabia que ele ia partir dessa pra melhor,mas quando realmente aconteceu eu chorei que nem uma cachorra, não tinha mais lágrimas para chorar,esses dois me deram um trauma,mas me fizeram rir muito,fazia tempo que eu não ria tanto,eu fiquei extremamente feliz quando descobri que tem uma seriezinha,pena que nao é deles,mas vou assistir para matar a saudade,vale muito a pena assistir mesmo com o trauma que vem de brinde no final.

• obvious naman sa title kung ano magiging storyline nito, & yes tungkol 'to sa isang police na nakapulot ng red envelope not knowing that will lead to him marrying a ghost.• i can say na maganda ang flow ng story since magaganda talaga mostly ang napproduce ng taiwan. this is not a love story at all, but it's still a good way to waste time. nag-expect nga lang ako ng isang kiss pero wala bEh, lumbay.
• halata naman na may edited na mga scenes but the editing skills are good. also, casts are good. maraming scenes na natawa ako, and sa part na nagtanong 'yong co-worker "who are you talking to?" ta's teary eyed aq sa sagot ni wu ming han na "my husband" T___T
• overall, ito 'yong movie na kareco-reco kasi masasabi kong may quality, maganda ang twist, and hindi gano'n kalumbay ang ending unlike sa MODC (ang layo hane pero naisip ko kasi modc lol). want ko ng sequel nito ta's magmeet ulit sila pls pls pls!!

Supernatural bl but it's really amazing
Ini bl supernatural theme pertama yg kutonton. Ini benar benar magic, walau sedikit romance namun ini bener bener menusuk, ceritanya sangat menyentuh dan aktornya pun bermain peran dengan sangat baik. Aku bener bener nggak menyesal nonton movie ini, sangat worth it.Sangat sangat berharap bisa dibuat atau diremake menjadi series( seenggaknya 12 episode ) dan akan bener bener menakjubkan. Lovee it
