To be sang zhi : means to heal your partner from all the traumas inflicted on them (which broke them to pieces) and to love them and be loved by them immensely.

To be wen yifen : means to experience all the traumas which will shred you to pieces to the point of no return , however at the end of the tunnel you’ll find your partner patiently waiting to heal you completely and to love you unconditionally.

To be WYF means to have a rough teenage years, losing parent and loved ones and tough life to begin with. To be SZ means that my partner has a very tough school and college life, also losing both parents. I won't wish for any of them. To look at the positive side, I would be SZ and have a happy and cheerful youth, supportive parents, brother and partner.

I got complimented by my partner that I was like sang zhi; so I guess I have a clear answer. Not only that my life is almost somewhat very similar to sang zhi. I have supportive parents which I'm immensely grateful for they supported me in everything even choosing a major at college which was not an obvious thing in an Asian family and they fought for me against the extended family and protected me from people's prejudice. Even though I was not born in a rich home I never felt I was lacking anything. Apart from that I too like Sang Zhi am shy and introverted so apart from my partner’s words which I felt delighted to hear my life felt very close to hers.

Edit: and yes my partner has his full family with him. And by that, he meant the way I loved is what resembles SZ. He told me my love was unconditional and I was always there for him. *yes! I'm very happy that I have such a partner*

I would pick being Wen Yifan cuz my life has been like her from scratch. And personally i lean toward more of a stable relationship with my partner. Sang Yan is understanding, patient, caring, a boyfriend who knows what to do but still is miserable if Yifan isn't by her side.
