greatest love that heals wounds and puts the happiness of the loved one first
Sang yan's love is a love defined by quiet devotion- a love that persists despite rejection, distance and time without expecting anything in return. A love that help him to grow brightly. It's that kind of love where he silently cherishes and supports her, even from afar, never forcing his feelings but always be present. He respects her boundaries, and waits, believing one day, when she is ready, she will find her way to him, open her heart to him. This is a love that stands the test of time- SILENT YET UNWAVERING, DISTANT YET EVER-PRESENT. It's a love that doesn't fade but instead waits in silent hope. She didn't confess before but her untold words, were enough for him to heard and wait. Maybe there are Sang yans out there but all cannot hear those untold words for they leave.Sang yan is too much fictional even for fictional world.
I’m not obsessed with Bai Jing Ting, but I can’t imagine anyone else playing this role better than him. He made me fall in love with Sang Yan—his arrogance and deep love were just perfect.
Ruonan was really incredible in portraying Yi Fan’s suffering till i'm crying along with her.
Also for Qiao and Hao’an really brought the story to life. Their journey, especially alongside An’s grandparents, was so touching. Their playful, cheerful, yet sharp personalities were such a joy to watch. i guess we should also thank Wang Lin Lin for the rental house and Xiang Lang for mentioned Hong Kong, right?
And of course, Zhi and Sang Yan’s parents, who were full of love. Mu Cheng Yun and A Sen also deserve a mention—some of their words really helped Yi Fan realize her next steps.
Yi Fan is incredibly strong, going through life with a calm exterior. And Sang Yan’s overwhelming love had the biggest impact on her—it gave her strength and made him willing to change so much just to be with her. Even though Sang Yan feels almost too good to be true in this world, I still hope… may this kind of love find me.
The First Frost was my first cdrama in 2025, waited bcs Hidden Love and it was really worth to wait💞

Good Drama
Very good drama. I liked the ending especially since this drama was 32 episodes, viewers may of forgotten key events and the flashback of it in the end was very nice. Haven't really seen a drama do this in a while.Romance and execution of it was nice as the plot wasn't smooth sailing the whole time. There were ups and downs along the way, especially FL suffering trauma from family issues. Personally it was a very slow start to the ep so I don't think 32 eps is needed and it would be better if it was shortened. The grandpa plot was quite boring and they shouldn't be focused as much. I didn't mind Si Qiao and Hao An being together and having their own part. Just the grandparents mainly.
I think that episode 24 was when it started to get interesting. Very good as there was some sort of action in the drama when it's 24 episodes in, otherwise it would get very boring if it was constantly just romance. I think that was the moment where I wanted to find out more of what happens in the next ep. Very good acting from Xing De.
What I don't like is the FL fleeing for the second times to Hong Kong. 6 months too. That is a very long time and it doesn't make sense to me why she fled the second time. Did she not learn from the first time? Where was the personal development in this - can't be realistic I know since it is a drama after all so I will let it slide. Also wished they added a scene when FL found out that the ML was the one he was talking to in the game they were playing (his username was cool also as it was 败将 with the second character being Wen ShuangJiang and the overall word meaning to lose/being defeated so the metaphor is 'lost to Wen Shuang Jiang').
At the start was childhood times and then at the end was a more detailed version of a scene that had occured not long ago
Beginning of the episode had a few words with elipsis. Then end of the episode it completes the sentence. This was unique
For the below, don't think you will understand if you aren't Chinese.
What was the odds of FL teaching dance speaking Mandarin in Hong Kong. Majority speak Cantonese but can speak Mandarin but the clubs are usually Cantonese. I have never really seen clubs that speak Mandarin mainly. When FL was working in HKG and the owner of the restaurant scolded her in Cantonese, that was funny because in reality it is the same 'harshness'. Atleast they had an actual Hong Kong person be in charge of the dance (could tell from his accent that he wasn't a native speaker - making it more HK authentic).
In Episode 31, on the blackboard there was a love heart with a bunch of text in it. This was very interesting as it was like a poem with the use of lots of metaphors foreshadowing things that will happen to a human being.
The last line of Episode 32 using the word '哄' is quite nice as the title is translated 'hard to comfort. Don't really know how to explain this to be honest.
Good reference to the Chinese Calendar 'Shuang Jiang' along with the snowflakes - I kinda forgot what date this was when I first got introduced to it in the drama (haven't seen this term in a while).
Overall, in my opinion on the drama, I think that this had funny moments as there were some inside joke that was played that did make me laugh on some of them. Some people didn't like this drama as they said 'the 2 of them don't have chemistry'. In my opinion they do as I rate it based off how playful they are and their personality.

Fluffy yet angsty
March 19, 2025WAW. This is probably the first drama that I finished and did not drop for this year.
First Frost is a heavy drama I must say, given the FL background and how she deals with her mental health. This drama for sure is not like Hidden Love although they are part of the same universe.
I understand why this show has gained a traction in popularity with the viewers and I think it is pretty well deserved. The plot was pretty decent, I did think that some subplots for the second leads or other characters could have been slimmed down. There are instances where I feel like they took over a whole episodes and that could have been given to the leads.
I think that the chemistry we have here is through the roof. Sang Yan's is the greenest, a whole forest type of man. FOR SURE HE ONLY EXISTS IN FAIRYTALE FICTIONAL LAND BUT I HOPE HE EXISTS. A MAN CAN DREAM AM I RIGHT

I adore hidden love and this one is great but the inconsistencies in the characters are a turn off.
First off I have no problem with Bai Jing. he’s amazing. He is a total green flag, the best lover and every girls dream but man I wish he had atleast some similarities to the Sang Yan we knew and loved in HL too. I’m missing the sibling bickering, the family coziness they had, and most of all I’m missing his friendship with juaxu! This Sang Yan is only about his obsession with yifan. It seems like he has no life, no other attachment in life except her. Even when they’re apart. I get it it’s his POV and about his love life but come on , they turned a fun and loving guy into an only obsessive lovey guy who only cares about one girl and not even his own family. I found it hard to finish the last few episodes, it felt boring, too repetitive, and it just lacked charm. I could watch HL twenty times over and still love each scene. This I can’t. Also I respect Yifans story and her trauma. I’m all for a good story but yifans character was boring. She’s pretty only, she’s half dead in half the drama and schoolgirl shy in the rest. Sang Yan deserved more come on, he suffered more alone. Also I don’t get why they fell in love. Because she was pretty? okay I get that but she had no character , no charm , no personality! Such obsessive love deserves atleast more depth of personality. even drunk she’s boring. Gosh I feel like such a hater but I wish wish this was as good as hidden love was. true hidden love was a simpler story but the EMOTIONS man.. it was a roller coaster. this was a slow train and I didn’t feel euphoric at the end.
Everything that connected HL to TFF is inconsistent. Firget actors, I don’t mind them having new actors but atleast keep their personalities, their timelines , their roles the same. Okay even if I don’t compare the two even then TFF is okay but not the best. still I’m rating it 9 stars because I love this world too much and I loved Sang Yan a lot. Just wish he had Victor Ma’s humor and spunk too. peace out .

Starts slow but is worth it as it gets very good
9/10 is my rating.Review

This is a very heartwarming romance that will give romantics the warm fuzzies that we look for in romance dramas. I liked it a lot and would highly recommend it for anyone that likes romantic dramas with some roots in some hard realities. My main critique is it started really slow. I am not, in general, a huge fan of just straight up drama. Up until about episode 10, I was wondering what people liked about it. But then it started to get REALLY good and I understand why it was very popular. And I also understood, a little, why that long, seemingly slow lead up mattered. But it was a really frustrating later as it kept flashing back and filling in details. There are few instances where I like stories told as flashbacks. I would rather just get the story in the order it occurred. A technique that gets overused is to tell a skeleton of the crucial events and then use the flashbacks as the reveals. To me, the character finding out those details could be the reveals. Traveling back and forward in time can easily become disorganized chaos. In this story they use a realer like time line and show, as you travel back and forth, where you are at on that timeline during the cut scenes. That helped. But the fact that was necessary is an indicator of how much the story moved back and forth in time.
Synopsis
This is a 2025 Chinese Romantic drama with 32, 45 minute episodes. It was adapted from a novel by Zhu Yi and has the same title. The main lead character in this played the brother in another Chinese drama "Hidden Love." There are references to the characters from Hidden Love and even a cameo or so. In terms of timeline this takes place partially, in the flash backs, during the same timeframe as the high school scenes in hidden love but after the main part of the story after high school.
Sang Yan (Bai Jingting) and Wen Yifan (Zhang Ruonan) were a high school couple until a series of misunderstandings drove them apart. Wen Yifan broke up with Sang Yan and they were both heart broken. Eight years later they are living very different lives. Sang Yan wealthy and lives in a nice apartment and is part owner of a popular bar and also a video game programmer. Wen Yifan is trying to break into the news reporting industry. She works for a smaller news program and is trying to get a big story to get more recognition and so she is promoted. Because of her limited economic means, she lives in a very impoverished area. Because she has very little resources and is alone in the world she lives in an apartment with multiple virtual strangers to keep living costs down. Due to her beauty she suffers many unwanted advances and has even been assaulted by unwanted admirers. Wen Yifan has avoided Sang Yan for over eight years but starts to bump into him more frequently and then finds herself in a co-habited rental where she knew she was getting a new roommate but did not realize it was the man she was trying so hard to avoid.

Her mother is among the worst I have seen. Call me vindictive but I was glad she told her just pretend like I was a victim of that serial killer you refused to save me from. Because, really, if she hadn't been a tough victim, that is what would have happened. It was heart breaking when she called her mother begging her to get her out of the situation and saying she didn't feel safe and her mother basically saying suck it up. If you are that cold to someone, anyone, let alone your own child, you deserve to spend the rest of your life thinking of what you could have done better. She tried with her. FL did. She went to her house when the mom reached out but then her horrible aunt was there. Her last string of trust was betrayed. The fact that she did not forgive her made me like the show more.
I am also glad FL did not fall for her half-sister's ruse that she wanted to be close to her. I thought it was all about being able to get in with the ML through her. I loved that about the FL. I give you every chance to be a good human but if you don't take any of them then that bridged you burned is not repairable. You reap what you sow.
If ever you wanted a ML who would walk through literal fire for the FL this was it. He loved her with a conviction and unwavering determination. Some might say he was "stalking" her. I would agree if he ever approached her and she indicated she did not want him around. There can be a fine line between the two. But he was clearing watching out for her. Checking in on her.
I am not usually a fan of people leaving but, in her case, I totally understood. The treatment she dealt with was both physical and psychological torture. She genuinely thought people she cared about would do better without her. There was no malice in her actions.

Love, Sacrifice, and Redemption: *First Frost* Takes You on an Emotional Rollercoaster
⭐ *First Frost* – C-Drama Review (9/10) ⭐*First Frost* isn’t your typical light and fluffy romance—it’s a dark, deeply emotional journey filled with trauma, resilience, and redemption. At its core, the drama thrives on the unwavering love of the male lead, whose devotion remains steadfast despite pain, distance, and harsh words. Meanwhile, the female lead’s quiet strength and selflessness make her a deeply compelling character, constantly putting others before herself even at her own expense.
One of the most interesting questions this drama poses is: *Would I rather be brave like our female lead, who sacrifices so much for others, or like our male lead, whose love never wavers even in the face of heartbreak?*
I also think *First Frost* suffers from inevitable comparisons to *Hidden Love* (which aired first despite being the second book in the series). This shapes audience expectations rather than allowing the drama to stand on its own. While *Hidden Love* offers a soft, comforting romance, *First Frost* is a much heavier, more emotionally intense story about love that endures through darkness.
The only drawback for me? The music didn’t leave a strong impression—none of the songs made it onto my Spotify list. But that’s a minor gripe in an otherwise powerful drama.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just be ready for an emotional journey, not a lighthearted love story.

Emotional
The drama is highly emotional; however, the chemistry between the leads made it watchable. Their love story and his dedication while chasing her showed unconditional love. A good one!I liked the second leads too. The drama also highlights the injustice faced by girls who are already struggling to find their way. Some get justice, while others do not. It also explores how people around them react—some are selfish, some are controlled by powerful influences, and some choose to stay out of the mess and refuse to help.
Despite all this, some girls refuse to give up and continue to fight for their rights. The drama also beautifully portrays how true love never lets go of its partner’s hand.

Highly Recommended, Worth it Drama of 2025
I was, at first doubtful about this adaptation since I watched HL, and they change SY(I love Victor) but since my Baobei's Rounan and Miaoyi was part of the cast, I gave this a chance and boy, that was the best decision I ever made. It exceeded all the expectations that I had.The actors, the chemistry, the depth of the story, the cinematography, the OST's, the posters, I love everything about it❄️?❤️. It easily became my top 1 cdrama, next to 2.L&P, 3. WIFTY, 4. HL 5. ELM. It made me sign up on XHS and recover my account on Weibo just so I can get updates and watch clips, it even made me signed up for MDL and IMDB, just so I can rate and leave a review, and that's coming from a lazy 4ss person?, that is how good this drama is. Since this is an ongoing drama, the waiting game for every ep is so painful but it was worth it.
As a manhwa and a novel reader, Zhang Rounan and Bai Jingting did justice to the characters??. They really embodied the characters and the acting was natural and top notch. The chemistry and the visual was overflowing, my eyes was so blessed. Everytime I watched their moments, my mouth hurts from smiling and they just made me melt into a puddle. Adding my baby Diandian(?)was the cherry on top.
I was initially disappointed about the plot change, which became a heated discussion on every platforms, which also made people criticize the FL, but I eventually came to understand why the director had to change it, the drama is not just about rainbows and butterflies, it also tackles and portrayed how some people deal with their trauma, that some people needs some time to heal and have different ways to cope, it is not the typical drama cliche where love heals the trauma, everything is okay again and happy ending. It shows how the FL deals with her trauma, how it affected her life and how she overcomes it. I even came to like the drama version more than the novel (sorry Zhuyi) after reading some reviews and get better understanding about the FL. Some people may still not like it but I think it added a nice touch to the plot, which made it much better than the novel.
Sangyan? is also whole green forest for never giving up on Shuangjiang❄️, he never blames my girl for her decisions but instead, chose to understand her, that is pure love right there. My girl is also a very brave person for overcoming what she had gone through and even after everything that happened to her, she is still a pure and loving person, that's a girl worth waiting and never giving up for. I truly understand why Sangyan is such a loser for her❤️. They both deserve the best which is why they definitely deserve each other. These 2 losers are the epitome of first loves.
The only flaw of the drama was the side stories. I just wished that there was less screentime for the side characters and more focus on our leads, I honestly skipped all of the parts where Yifan or Sangyan is not part of(sorry Miaoyi). Wish they had use those time instead for more moments of our leads. But overall, it was an amazing watch.
I'm so sad to let this drama and my SangYifan go tomorrow but on the bright side, I can finally rewatch the completed episodes a million more times. I hope to see ZNR and BJT on another drama again❤️❤️我喜欢你❤️❤️

I created an account just to rate this drama, and if I could give it a 20, I would.
Last year, after watching Hidden Love, I learned that Sang Yan had his own story, so I frantically searched for the novel and read it. From the very beginning, Wen Yi Fan took my whole heart.I'm relatively new to cdramas, so I'd only watched Zhang Rounan in two previous dramas and I just thought she was really cute, and Baijingting was completely new to me. Then this dropped, and from the first episode, I just knew I would love it. And I wasn’t wrong. 45 minutes went by so fast, and I take that as the sign of truly enjoying a drama.
BJT brought Sang Yan to life: confident, devoted, handsome, and understanding. And let’s talk about ZRN, this girl showed her caliber. She was born to play WFY. ZRN, aside from being obviously GORGEOUS, was cute, elegant, shy, reserved. She embodied WYF perfectly: resilient, timid, vulnerable, yet strong.
I understand those who didn’t agree with the major deviation from the novel, but I don’t think it made the drama any less. You get to see WFY’s reasoning and it was valid, coming from her trauma. The last 4 episodes are truly a treat.
For me, everything was perfect: acting - both ZRN and BJT went above and beyond, with those eyes, those tears, those smiles, those kisses; chemistry - nothing to add, you can feel it since their first encounter; script - so many lines from the novel were kept and elevated, it's magical seeing something you read brought to life so perfectly; OST - every single song is sooo good, I have added the playlist on Spotify and listened to it while working lol; visuals - actors, camera work, color palette, scenography, just incredible; flow - good story flow, relevant events to their relationship, there is a little bit of scenes from the 2nd leads that you could skip but it didn't become that annoying to me; the slow burn - no too slow, even if some people disagree, no too fast, the perfect pace for them… you name it. I’ll be rewatching this soon.

oh, to be loved
There's something so beautiful about being loved by someone who has patience for you and sees you as someone worthy of kindness, understanding, and support. Their love doesn’t rush, doesn’t demand, but instead gently supports you in silence. (YET SO LOUD) In their eyes, you are a piece of art! Every part of you, every emotion you feel, is met with grace and tenderness. It’s not just about the grand gestures or the moments of intense passion it’s the quiet moments, the ones where they wait for you to open up, to feel safe, and trust. They find joy in your laughter, pain with your sadness, and peace in your presence. You become the most beautiful person in their world, not because of anything you do or don’t do, but because to them, you are everything. To be loved by someone who wants nothing but your happiness, who takes the time to understand you and always encourages you to be your best self, is a rare and precious gift. It’s the kind of love that makes life feel lighter, easier, and fuller. I don't think you should live for love, but i do believe that a life that gets to experience this kind of love, is a life well lived. Was this review helpful to you?

A Beautifully Heartbreaking Masterpiece
The First Frost is an emotional masterpiece, weaving love, pain, and healing into a story that lingers long after it ends. With breathtaking cinematography, a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, and some of the most emotionally raw performances, this drama is nothing short of unforgettable.Sang Yan – The Greenest Forest, The Deepest Love
I absolutely loved watching Sang Yan. He isn’t just a male lead—he’s a character who carries an immense depth of emotion. His love for Wen Yifan is quiet but intense, steady yet heartbreaking. He never demands love in return, nor does he push beyond what she is willing to give. Instead, he waits, loving her in the only way he knows how—with patience, quiet devotion, and unwavering loyalty.
Sang Yan doesn’t wear his emotions on his sleeve, but the way he looks at Yifan says everything. He’s the kind of person who would rather suffer alone than burden the one he loves. Every scene with him felt like a quiet storm—his love was always present, even in silence. This boy deserves pure love, and watching his pain unfold throughout the drama was absolutely gut-wrenching.
Wen Yifan – A Woman Learning to Love Again
Wen Yifan’s journey is one of the most painful yet rewarding parts of the drama. She carries the weight of her past, her trauma shaping the way she views love. Her pain is deeply ingrained, and sometimes, I found it hard to relate to her expressions. However, that only made her struggles feel more real—she isn’t perfect, and her healing isn’t linear.
Her relationship with Sang Yan was as much about love as it was about healing. His patience, his quiet support, and his willingness to wait allowed her to slowly open up. Watching her learn to trust again, to accept love instead of pushing it away, was one of the most beautifully heartbreaking arcs in the drama.
A Love That Speaks Through Silence
The chemistry between Sang Yan and Wen Yifan is pure magic. It’s not about dramatic declarations or grand gestures—it’s in the way they look at each other, the way their presence alone speaks volumes. Their love story is built on years of unresolved emotions, longing, and pain. Every scene between them feels heavy with unspoken words, yet their connection is undeniable.
Their moments together are soft yet intense, painful yet comforting. They don’t need to say much because their emotions are so deeply embedded in their actions. It’s the kind of love that never truly fades, no matter how much time or distance separates them. Watching them find their way back to each other, step by step, was an emotional journey I didn’t want to end.
Shen Zai & Zhao Mingxi – A Love That Feels Like Home
While the main couple carried the emotional weight of the drama, Shen Zai and Zhao Mingxi were a breath of fresh air. Their love story was lighthearted, full of warmth and playfulness, but still deeply meaningful. They balanced each other perfectly—Shen Zai’s unwavering devotion and Zhao Mingxi’s strong-willed nature made their relationship dynamic and exciting.
Their chemistry was natural, effortless, and full of heart. Unlike Sang Yan and Wen Yifan, whose love was tangled in past pain, Shen Zai and Zhao Mingxi’s love felt freeing. Their moments together brought a sense of relief from the intensity of the main story, yet they were never just a side plot. They had their own struggles, their own emotional depth, and their relationship felt just as real and significant.
I absolutely loved watching them, and honestly, they deserve a drama of their own. The way they supported each other, the way their banter felt so natural—it was impossible not to root for them.
Wen Yifan’s Family – A Pain That Should Be Left Behind
Her mother made my blood boil. The emotional neglect, the complete lack of remorse—it was infuriating to watch. Some families don’t deserve redemption, and this was one of them. Seeing Yifan struggle with the weight of her past, carrying wounds inflicted by the very people who should have protected her, made her story even more heartbreaking.
Final Thoughts
The First Frost isn’t just a drama—it’s an experience. It’s beautifully heartbreaking, with a love story that is both painful and healing. Sang Yan and Wen Yifan’s love is the kind that lingers, while Shen Zai and Zhao Mingxi bring warmth and joy. Together, they create a drama that is emotionally rich, deeply moving, and absolutely unforgettable.

I am gonna miss this one so badly
Face full of tears, heart aching, soul healed and eyes blessed ( thanks to that fine man). This was the best piece of masterpiece i have watched in a VERYYYYYY LOOOOOONG TIMEEEEEEE. Words can’t describe the feelings im going through rn but the one taking over the most is nostalgia BECAUSE WHY TF DO I ALREADY MISS THEM AMAN. This passed my expectations and sm more and i am so happy i got to watch this. This one definetly got me out of my slump and healed me. Every thing about this was perfection : cast, acting, visuals, plot, ost, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. This couple is now my weakness and i already miss them BRING ME BACK MY BABIES. tbh at first i had a hard time understanding yifan and how “cold” she was but then when you get to know her backround, everything changes. Her calm personnality is so comforting and it actually grows on you, plus as time goes by and when she heals from her past wounds , she became more confident and at peace AND SHE IS SO CUTIE I WANT TO PROTECT HER AT ALL COST. the thing i love about her is the fact that even if she was reserved she always stood up for herself so she made me sooo proud. You can feel shes a genuinely loving person and that her love language is different.AND WHERE TF DO I NEED TO START ABOUT MY MAN SANG YANG AMAN. melekher : 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚💚 💚 💚 💚 💚 (there was no green flag emoji so im using this). AND MARK MY WORDS BECAUSE THIS TIME I AM NOT PLAYING. usually in these shows when theres conflict or even in general, you get some flaws in the mls, which is human, but this guy wlh wlh wlh has absolutly no damn flaws, not a single one in his bones. He’s so emotionally intelligent, loving, caring and mature. Yes, he may seem cocky, but thats just a facade and thats what i find the most funny about him. words really can’t describe how much i admire him cause now it has reached a whole new level, it’s not just love atp. The way he cares and loves her is truly admirable and touching and i am honestly so overwhelmed writing this that i don’t even know what examples i can use tellement there are too many.
Now for their dynamic you could feel there was sm tension and a deep history between them and i couldn’t wait to find out the reason she left and everything( which was completly understandable) but from the moment they started dating…… omg. PURE CUTESY LOVE, and i am not talking about the classic cute bla bla chemistry otherwise it would be incoherent with their personnalities, especially hers. Their chemistry as a couple was so new and fresh it took me by surprise. Cuz i was a bit scared in case it became weird but not at all, it just made me love them even more. They were so cozy, comforting, simple, mature and caring. It just felt so nice seeing their interactions being natural and simple.
For the rating i was gonna give it a 5 star but the last episode changed everything and made me add the heart. I can officially say this last episode was the most perfect last episode of all the history of last episode. We got to see them with his family, moving in their new appartment, which is his. Even smth as simple as that was well executed, they could have showed them already installed in and living their best lives in it, but we got to see still discovering, getting comfortable with all the boxes around and simply taking in this new change is their life. And finally, where everything changed : the school. I was expecting a classic “yay back to school memories yay” but it was so much deeper. The way they recreated all their high school moments warmed my heart and it really was a nice way for us to recall the old times. BUT THE PROPOSAL HELLO ??????????????????????? i was honestly shocked ( not because they were gonna get married cause we knew) but because the moment was unexpected yet expected. she was taking a nap on the desk and when she woke up they were all wearing their high school uniforms ( currently having tears in my eyes writing this) and when it said marry on the board with the poem, it hit me. even the idea of the videos was so creative AND THE RING BOX PLZZZ basically she loves and she does ballet and back in the day he gifted her a box with a little ballet doll dancing in it and so for the proposal he put the ring inside it AMAAAANNNNNNN. and even that when he tried to turn it on it didnt work cause the battery died and this simple detail just made the moment sm more human and genuine idk how to describe it. AND NOW THE BEST PART, my man’s speech. he was literally SHAKING WITH TEARS IN HIS EYES, his speech wasn’t grandios but those simple words were enough. AND MY BABY YIFAN WAS SO PRETTY CRYING SHE DESERVES THE WORLD. and im so happy it stopped right there because it was absolutly perfect.
SO SHOUTOUT TO MY LOVELY LIAR, THIS IS HOW YOU DO A MARRIAGE PROPOSAL, SO TAKE NOTESSSSSSSSSS
This is the first time i say something like this but ya rabi : may this kind of love find me and may a man like sang yang find me. this is truly the kind of love i aspire to find and i can’t wait for it
IM GONNA MISS U MY BABIES I DONT WANT TO LEAVE LET ME STAY HERE A LITTE LONGER
