The First Frost, An incredible drama.

I come to this drama without any expectations of it being this good, I haven't watch Hidden Love thus I was going blind with the story. At first I was hesitating to start it since C-drama typically are long ep, and I like watching a drama in one sitting. But The First Frost might change it for me, I binged watch 1-10 at first, and kept up with new ep everyday.
The story is super super interesting, I really dig what's Yifan story is, how her hardships during her high school days made her do choices that only benefits her, what I am talking about is how she was only looking at herself, and it has a reason though. It is to protect herself. But slowly she realize that someone, ugh when she saw the tin box of Yang with the tickets and picture of her in graduation, I shed tears. I was happy that she saw it (was literally the scene I want to see).
Now Sang Yang, what a story he has. He endured the pain, might have blame himself on why she left him. But his strong attitude made me like him. I can see why Hidden Love would be a good watch knowing how different Sang Yang will be. I aspire to be like Sang Yang.
I want to talk about the cinematography of this drama, It's so beautiful, the places they go to in Nahwa, Beiyu, or even in Yihe we're gorgeous. It made me want to go there for real. The effects is also so good, even the practical effects of using reflections or the crystalize things complements the scene more and added emotion.
The cast is perfect for the roles, Bai Jing Ting facial expressions really capture a confident person, it hooks specially when he looks at Yifan. Zhang Ruo Nan is the perfect Yifan, her portrayal of it should gave her a LOT of awards, I really was sympathizing with her, I cried with her, I was happy when she was happy. She portrays a girl that left by her family really well. The second leads are also good too, well I may be bias since I really like Zhang Miao Yi, she's a perfect best friend for Yifan. Edward Chen too did a well job portraying a man losing his parents and having the doubt of him being the reason of their death, and I was happy with her grandparents too. All of the other supporting cast are to commendable too, especially the one who portrays Yifan's uncle or Che Xing De, whenever he comes to the screen, I just wanna punch that face. Nah seriously, his aura literally is like a deranged person.
I also like the music and background songs, it's not too emotional, just perfect. Plus how it enters the scene, using instrumental first then having vocals after it is so good.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend everyone to watch this. Even if you watched, Hidden Love or not, it's such a good start.

Life is incredible

This was a fun ride to watch.

I cannot compare this to any of the drama's I've watched. It's my first time experience a different feeling every time I watch this. You know, like there's so many layers to the story and it's full of lessons in life.
I enjoy every fun scenes, I cried on every sad scenes, I felt the pain of Xichi losing his father, Cong having to understand his mother, and Huaner worries of her mother.
I am not attached on this drama like the other ones I've watched, but it left a big lecture that in life things would change but some things might still be the same.

This might be the best cinematographic drama I've watch. Every scene is beautifully captured, the after effects puts a lot of emotion, the sceneries was beautiful.
I like the pacing of the story on the early episodes, like they didn't skip a lot of time. However, in the end bit. It feels like the story became hard to understand, like time wise. Maybe it's just me not fully investing in filling the timelines between scenes, but I though maybe they could have stretch scenes more to explain how they are there.

The final episode is one of the best ending for youth drama. Them rewatching their old self and reflecting what they are now is so good.

My final thoughts, this drama is I highly recommend for anyone. I feel like when you have watch this, your life may change a bit moving forward.

What a bittersweet romance.

I've seen it three times now, and every time I shed more tears each scenes. J-trauma is real, when I first watch this I didn't expect the outcome of them dying. Even the second time, I can't accept that they didn't express through words their feeling but knowing the actions Akito did really make Haruna happy.
I won't watch it again. I am just sad.

You know the sweetest thing on earth? Yin Guo and Lin Yiyang's love.

WOW, Everything in this drama is perfect for what it is.
Sweet every episode. I am literally giggling when they interact, they freaking killed the romantic scenes. At first I always say that this is so slow, but its perfect, the slowness add a different kind of love. Oh also, this being a billiards/pool story really captivated me. I am kind of sad that it only has Thirty EP, I wish there are more.

Amidst a snowstorm of love, perfect title. I don't even know what to say but this is definitely my fav C-drama now.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND AHHHHH

Lovely drama, worth watching over and over again.

When I fly towards you, wow Su Zaizai didn't fly but sticks to Zhang Lurang so much I love it. The story is quite simple yet it's not boring. First scene in the store during the rain literally made me like Zaizai, hooked by Lurang in this case the drama. I've never imagined enjoying a youth romance this hard, it's so cute. The main couple is so good, no big arguments, small misunderstandings but they handled it well. I envy them.
How about the other characters? I love them. The second couple makes this realistic for me. Jiajia and Guran made it enjoyable, they complement each other, it just sucks that they don't have longer scenes or their story weren't explored much but still they were fun. Guan Fang is also quite funny, makes a good friend for all of them. I love his story too with her grandmother, I hope he finds himself a partner.
Cinematography? Top notch. I love the low ground, lowkey, and pretty colors of the drama. The places they choose as well is pretty and amazing. And the tone, it was never so fast never so slow. The background music is heart warming as well.
Overall, this drama is so rewatchable for me. I would gladly take watching Wifty over and over as a punishment, It feels like whenever I watch it again I found small things that really add to the watchability of it. The actors they choose is also cute. I hope to watch more of this fun, cute, lovely dramas.
