Pleasantly surprised
This is the first short/1 video long drama that I've watched so I wasn't sure what to expect. I really enjoyed the format as I tend to get bored of the standard 24+ episode dramas and struggle to finish them. The story can be described as sort of an anti-drama which was super unique and interesting the whole way through. It was refreshing to have a cunning and self-reliant female lead that poked fun at tropes in dramas while also utilizing them. I really enjoyed the romance scenes and thought they had some witty dialogue that complimented their characters quite well. I will say, the actual logistics of the story became a bit muddled towards the end and I'm not sure if it was lost in translation or what. It began to drag as a result of this, and I was thankful when I reached the ending. I think the actors did a pretty good job given the material. The production and editing were a bit low budget, but it didn't deter me from watching. This drama is definitely worth the watch! Was this review helpful to you?

It was surprisingly good
The chemistry between the leads alone would have made this show worth watching, but paired with decent writing it was good to watch. It does have plot holes, which is pretty common with dramas like this one. The ending for example doesn't explain how it worked out or if it even worked out for the lead couple. It was very vague. If it had a better and well-written ending, the rewatch potential for this show would have been great. It is a good one time watch. I might possibly see it again but i'm not in a hurry to do so.

THE BEST SHORT DRAMA
First mind you this is short drama with 9 min per episodes. And by end of episode, i was hoping for the drama to be 1 hour per episode. And would love to have 2nd season on it. READ MORE BELOW !!STORY; the drama was a about FL who are always holds a supporting role as a villain in comic worlds. One day, glitches happened and she became a good main character of the story. And she get to control herself without having to follow the original plot of the comic. And there, she met another villain character. WARNING; THEY KISSED A LOT. The story was quite is relax phase considering they had only 9 minutes per ep.
They are not cringey, but the plot are smooth. The romance are good. And what are the best about this drama. It’s the romance between two supporting characters, villain FL and villain ML. 🤣
The plot and twist will keep you wanting to watch more for every episode.
ACTING/CAST; first. I’m in love with FL, 2nd I’m in love with ML. She is beautiful and he is handsome. Both of their acting is really good and smart. The FL is smart, independent and she is a villain. She is not a weak FL like other drama where they just waiting to get slap. Not a damsel in distress waiting to be save. But this FL won’t let people step on her, and most probably she’ll step on you first. 🤣 ML is smart, always save the girl, and evil enough to keep you on toes. but at the end of the day he willing to sacrifice himself to save the girl. Twice. Sobs Sobs. And his crying scene is sad 🥹
MUSIC; there is this one song that is noticeably and i loves it. Even search in on spotify. But honestly, the OST or BGM is not really noticeable.
REWATCH; I’m rewatching it twice ady. And will rewatch again while waiting for wetv to upload new drama.

REALLY GOOD,ENTRILLING,GREAT STORY,ENGAGGING.
I went into this show with **very low expectations**, assuming it would be just another short, forgettable mini-series with a routine love story. Nothing ambitious, nothing that would stay with me. But as the episodes progressed, that assumption quietly collapsed. What started as casual viewing slowly turned into genuine attachment. The plot, while not flawless, carries a **slightly unique emotional tone** that sets it apart from typical romances. It doesn’t rely solely on surface-level attraction; instead, it builds tension, sacrifice, and emotional endurance. The writing may stumble at places, but the **intent behind the story is clear**, and that intent pulls you in.
The **acting is exactly what the story demands**—raw where it needs to be, restrained where silence speaks louder than words. The leads, in particular, do a solid job of making the emotions feel lived-in rather than performed. Many moments land well, and several scenes are genuinely satisfying, especially when emotions are allowed to settle instead of being rushed.
One of the strongest aspects—and something that truly keeps viewers hooked—is the **constant interaction between the main leads**. They are almost always present in each other’s orbit. Whether it’s conflict, care, tension, or quiet understanding, their dynamic never disappears for long. This continuous engagement prevents the story from feeling hollow and keeps the emotional focus intact.
Another point worth appreciating is how the show **maintains suspense almost till the very end**. Instead of revealing everything too early or relying on predictable resolutions, it keeps you guessing. That lingering uncertainty adds weight to the narrative and makes the journey feel purposeful rather than mechanical.
By the time the story reaches its conclusion, you realize you didn’t just *watch* the show—you **stayed with it**. Not because it was perfect, but because it made you care.
A second season would be welcome, though that might be asking for a lot. Still, for a show that began with modest expectations, it delivered far more emotional engagement than expected—and that alone says something.

Highly recommended Mini drama
So far my favourite minidrama. FL isn‘t an annoying damsel in distress. There are so few dramas where FLs are strong, independent and not a crybaby. Or where FL meets ML and their brain get roasted and they become silly.
Though it‘s the same here in some scenes even the FL questions authors for silly writing lol
And each episode has funny, cute or romantic moments. The story itself isn‘t too abstract and illogical. I have seen dramas with 45min length with massive plotholes. The actors did their job well, I hope they get cast for full length dramas as well.
When I‘m bored and there is nothing to watch, I come back for a rewatch. It still amuses me.
OST is also quite remarkable for a Mini drama.
All in all it‘s worth a try and be captivated.
Another good Mini drama is „The killer is highly romantic“.
I give the drama a solid 9.5 as I compare it with other Mini dramas.

Good
I really enjoyed the story. The ML and FL have very good characterisation. You could also tell that the script put some effort, especially in the last few episodes of the drama.
The music was also good.
However, there is a con. What I disliked most about the show was the makeup. The cast had too much powder and it looked weird most of the time.
Also, the props were a bit lacking. Blood was more orange than red etc.
Anyway, I know I will rewatch this when I have time in the future.

Like all the other reviews, I agree that the story had so much more to tell, but since it's a mini drama, I believe they focused on the right things. In 24 episodes, and 10 minutes each, they dug deep into the characters relationship, they developed family relationships, and gave us a mean and active villain. I just wish they gave us more information and depth on the "lead".But I loved the cast (didn't know them before this) and loved the story. The female lead is funny and a little bit mean, so different from what we usually see in c-dramas. Loved the ending too.

Sweet and Funny Short Drama
This is a short drama series starring two young actors. The story is set in a comic world and the main character is an actress who specializes in villain roles. By mistake she ends up with the role of the female lead and maintains her own awareness. The plot moves at quite a fast pace but it works as the length of each episode is very short.
The acting I thought was alright but I wish the emotional scenes were more convincing. The way the characters were written I thought the comical scenes were done well.
The music was great but sometimes it was too much.
Because the story is set in a fantasy comic world, there were many illogical plot holes. However, it is because the audience know that it is a fantasy comic world that these plot holes can be overlooked.
Lastly, perhaps of some rewatch value is you're bored but don't have a lot of time to relax. The episodes are very short and you can get into the story quickly but leave it behind you once you're done and go about your day.

Was a great short drama
Had a good storyline and the acting from most of the actors was great. Some was meh. I thought the visual effects were not too bad either.Storyline - was not bad. Needed a bit of work but I liked the story. I think somethings were a tad bit confusing in some parts but it worked out good. Again… I wish there was a bit more on the end with the two leads… wait ARE they the leads? Lol it was fun to watch.
Acting/Cast - for the most part they did great. I think at certain points in the drama something was lacking in some of the acting. Not sure if they were having a bad day or it was written that way. Just a few things felt off. But all in all they did great.
Rewatch - yes! I would watch it again. It was entertaining and I liked the “comic book” yet real world feel to it.

Great meta romance that holds hup against classics of the genre
The plot is bonkers : an evil novel rival girl gets a conscience and is recast in a story as the female lead, she has a heart disease that forces her to kiss the male lead to survive, but instead she strikes him into a coma and kisses his half-brother who is the villain that will kill her the day of her wedding. It's on par with Extraordinary You and Lost Romance, it just works. It's very funny (the dialogue and meta humour can be hilarious and all the part where Yehan gets confused about his feelings for Luo Qing is great), the leads are rock solid, and if you don't think too hard about it, the laws of the novel world kinda make sense. Overall very refreshing and addictive. It looses steam at the end but stops right in time and doesn't overstay its welcome. Was this review helpful to you?
A Fun Show, Just Don't Take It Too Seriously
This was my first mini-series, and honestly, it wasn't that bad. Here's how the story goes: Qi Qi [played by Liu Xie Ning] is a manga character who has played many villainess roles throughout the years. However, when she enters the world of the manga "Night of Love With You", she accidentally ends up in the role of the female lead Luo Qing rather than the villainess and still has her own conscious, meaning she could act upon her own will. And when the male lead is out of the picture, she makes the most of what she has and tries to get the story back on track in order to reset everything and get back into the villainess role.
The plot of the show seems straight out of a webtoon, so much so that I'm surprised it wasn't an adaptation of anything. The story itself isn't mindblowing nor was it unique, but there is something about it that makes it special.
It's pretty obvious that the show had a relatively low budget. Sets/locations are reused, the OST consisted of maybe 3 songs in total, the editing was lackluster at points, the acting was subpar, etc. There were definitely scenes that would have benefited from just having the cast film another take.
However, even with its limitations, the show made the most of what it had. The story itself was interesting and kept our attention. They knew when to slow down the plot and when to amp up the conflict. Since each episode was only 9-15 minutes long, they knew what scenes were important to include for the overall story to make sense. Yes, there were some inconsistencies and hand-wavy things, but as a whole, it was a fun watch.
Don't take the show too seriously and enjoy it for what it is.

Interesting concept
I really liked the idea of the typical villain suddenly becoming the FL in the story. I thought that was well done. The ML was a little bland. I was concerned at the very beginning because the acting was so bad, but once the premise was explained, they settled into their roles. What happens when you suddenly don't have purpose? Maybe my memory is just bad, but I don't think I've seen this done before. It was good that this wasn't a long, drawn-out drama, so it didn't feel that a lot of time was wasted. I watched it on YouTube, so the sound cut out a lot, but thank goodness for subtitles! Was this review helpful to you?
