A typical family drama, good for those who want to watch something light but with some intrigue behind it. The little actors who played the roles of the children were really adorable. The plot has many flaws from my point of view, but this drama focuses a lot on the simple moments in the family and it is also normal that the plot is not very well developed, although it struck a chord at the end.+ SPOILER ATTENTION!
Don't worry, it has a HAPPY ending so you can watch it without too much heartache.
PS: I personally would have liked the main characters not to argue so much about things that are not worth it, but I understand that it is part of the family plot necessary to keep us captivated, but what can I do, after all, I am just a drama fan who hopes that everything has a happy ending (heart emoji)

Kids are the real deal! Easy watch!
Usually, I enjoy such troops of single parents falling in love after marriage because its a easy and happy watch with adorable characters.....but not really happy with this oneI found the main leads acting a bit lacking especially the ML despite having good intimate scenes the bonding felt off, also they kind of spoiled FL's character by the end as a few of her actions looked quite selfish and did really fit the image that was built of her throughout the drama, including the part of her leaving even when chen chen fell down on the road that's not how a mother would behave...
Also not very satisfied with the ending as it looks rushed....until his brother was the suspect in FL's eye she was blaming and ready to leave the ML but suddenly her sister was the actual bad person so no one had any problem anymore??I mean I get that she should not be blamed for what her sister did but ML's reaction was unrealistic.....at least a little bit of time should have made the situation more acceptable
Still I loveddd both the child actors they were truly adorable and on point with there acting skills, also the second couple were quite adorable I enjoyed watching them...The bestie trio was fun too

I adore the MLs, both were truly so cute together and not bad at all. The FL seemed a little sad at first and you're like "god I hope she's not stupid" lmfao but nah, she was strong and really held her own. The ML seemed like a jerk but truly he was actually not terrible and just as parents, they really did great. I think it's crazy it was 30 episodes yet I still feel like I missed so much and if it was any longer I don't think I would've been upset because I needed them to fill in those little cracks but also it was perfect the way it was. They truly were brought together by fate through their family/children and the rest is history. They aren't in love immediately but they learn to fall in love and how to care and nurture each other for success and their well being and I appreciate that. I appreciate the honesty and misunderstandings taken care of quickly as well. I liked that the villains weren't as bad as they were but the downfall for me probably was the secondary couple, talk about bland and boring but I'm not rating this based off of them but really the story and main characters as a whole.
I've never seen the leads in any shows so I think their chemistry was just wonderful and spot on in my opinion, loved the families, friendships and children as a whole.
Music was fantastic, available on apple music per usual.
I wouldn't rewatch it unless I really was bored like I would but the first time was good and satisfying for me for sure.
Overall, fantastic show, good pace, easy story, great acting and just overall a good binge worthy show.

Good family drama
I am not sure if I have watched any dramas before with the leads (too lazy to look) but you know this drama was light and easy to watch. I always like a family drama with getting married, having kids or blended family, etc...The kids did an amazing job and you know even though this was like a contractual marriage that turn into love, you will always find those "bad person" character that will try and mess up their lives.
I mean overall, it was good and their chemistry was great.

watch it its worth it
Actually, I don't want to write a review, I just want to give you motivation to watch this drama. Keep in mind, I'm very picky and easily get bored or angry with the story, the acting of the actors in some scenes, the viewing experience like whether I'm bored or really want to stop but can't and many more.From the list above, there are many factors that enter my judgment regarding whether I think a drama or film is good, the simplest is whether I fast forward / change scenes without watching it or not. Here, I actually went straight through every scene in the best friend's romance section. Not because it's bad, but I misunderstood, I watched the footage of the female being kidnapped and it turned out I was in the wrong drama. The point is, this drama is good, if you have free time, watch it!

Second watch
I just got through my second watch of this, and after watching probably 300 C-/K-/J-/T-dramas, I have to say that the acting in this show is some of the best, in my opinion. Not everyone was perfect in every scene, but I didn't question the actors' reactions any more than I would have questioned the reactions of people in real life. And although there are a few plot holes, I personally have enough imagination to fill in the blanks.The kids totally stole my heart in every scene they were in, and made the entire drama worth watching. While their delivery sometimes lacked emotion, anyone who's been around young kids knows that's often the way kids speak, so it was believable. And their crying scenes were on point, especially when the boy was chasing after the taxi. I hope he got an award for that scene alone.
My original rating was an 8.5, but I bumped it to a 9.5 this time around. Of all the shows that I've watched, it's rare that I WANT to watch a drama more than once, and even rarer that I actually DO it. But this show is definitely worth it.

Light hearted, Rom-Com, Family
If you are looking for a light hearted rom com drama, you'll surely love this. I just loved how every cast portray their roles, most especially the two kids. Hehe. I just really loved how Chen chen, and the baby girl loved, their parents here. Those little conversations to their parents, just made my heart melted. 🤍 Loved their family so much!!!However, I really don't want to sound complaining and not grateful here for the team who make time and effort to translate the whole episodes, hehe, but then, the english subtitles are not too good. I just felt that, other words are not translated correctly. :( But then, Im not saying that you will not be able to understand what they are saying, you can. Its just that, hehe. Buuuuuuut then, Im sure you'll gonna love this drama! ❤🤍 And if I gonna miss their cute family, I will definitely rewatch it! 😍

There are some ridiculous moment with Qi Tian character but overall it is a cute Romcom
Please Be My Family is a cute RomCom about Qi Si Le and Song Hao Yu, who raised their siblings' children as their son and daughter form a family together to support each other.The two kids are adorable, but I don't like the voice dubbing of the two children. It was sometimes annoying, and I could tell that adults dubbed it.
The acting is not bad from both the lead actor/actress, and the 2nd CP did a good job as well. I am enjoying this drama so far, giving it a 7.5 for good acting and a decent script.

Simple love quiet growth and a lot of warmth
The story follows two single parents who slowly come together and create a small but meaningful family. The drama starts on a light and pleasant note and is easy to get into. It does not aim to be overly dramatic and instead focuses on everyday emotions, parenting, and relationships. The overall tone feels calm and friendly, making it a good drama for relaxed viewing, although there were few fastforwards in the story.The strongest parts of this drama is the two children, they are adorable, natural, and behave like real kids their age without being overly mature or annoying. Their presence adds a lot of warmth and heart to the story. The female lead is mature, kind, and emotionally strong, making her easy to root for, while the male lead is capable and caring but emotionally reserved, which fits his character, though his communication skills can be frustrating at times. Their relationship develops steadily with many sweet and fluffy moments, even if misunderstandings are used a bit too often to move the story forward.
The supporting cast adds charm and balance, especially the older characters and female friendships, which are fun and refreshing to watch. However, the drama does stumble in parts, with some plot points feeling underdeveloped and a storyline that becomes more dramatic than necessary later on. The acting is decent overall, with the kids and female lead standing out the most, while the male lead feels slightly restrained emotionally. LIGHT HEARTED CUTE FAMILY ROMCOM
I wasn’t expected the plot to be that good.At first, I was expected a random contracted/family trope but it turned out to be better.
Even if, the last episodes seemed to be written in a rush, which is sad because there was a lot of potential to fully develop the plot. I really believe, it could’ve been more developped because sometimes everything was rushed.
I think this drama is worth your time, it’s easy to watch due to its short length and I haven’t seen the time while watching it ( 2,5 days to watch the cdrama). And, you will fall for the adorable kids and how smart they are !! It’s refreshing to witness the smartest of kids instead of them being only cute, it also pointed out how adults’ behavior can badly/ goodly impact on kids.
PS : I never thought I would appreciate that much the supposed mean girl !! What a suprise to see a drama with non girl’s toxicity !!

FAMILY & FRIENDSHIPS
Congrats to Actors, Writers & Crew 🎉Great Drama with awesome actors, especially the amazing talent of the little ones who played the brother & Sister.
Characters & storyline was good as well. Found myself being charmed by many of the characters.
Also loved the second romance as much as the main leads.
Great how they all supported each other & especially how infectious the FL's personality was with her family & friends. ML was sweet & gorgeous with the children & FL as well as his Grandpa.
Great pairing of leads, as well as the children.
Plenty of love, romance, cuteness & then occasional humour with the 2nd romance.
I didn't give full points though because for me personally, I didn't like how the writers wrote the actions & attitude of the FL in episodes 26-29. One scene there I really wanted to grab her & shake her.
Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed this Drama & highly recommend 👌 🌟
