The best modern cdrama ?
Their chemistry is to die for 😭 I hope that they will do an another cdrama together (and that they will end up dating🤭)I have almost seen all of Zhao Lusi's dramas and she does not disappoint. Chen Zheyuan is also an amazing actor with a promising career and I really hope that they will collaborate in an another drama!
I just love how the characters cared for each other and how they resolved misunderstanding's almost immediately. I have smiled throughout all episodes like an idiot and this drama is totally worth your time and patience! I guarantee you that.
The OST is also to die for, especially two of them where the FML sings. I will most definitely rewatch this drama in a couple of years and get reminded of one of the happiest time of my life - which is when I watch this drama 🥰

A story of pure love
This is the story of a girl who has a crush on her brothers best friend.That's it.
That's the story.
But the way it's filmed, the actors, the acting, the music, the emotions... these things were so on point, I can't name a drama that's more pure than this one. Watching this was like sitting on soft lush grass at dawn as warm breeze brushed past us while sunlight gently blanketed us in a bubble of happy warmth. I don't know how else to put it. It's simple and perfect in every way possible.

THE BEST C-DRAMA THAT I HAD WATCH SO FAR
I'm not usually a fan of Chinese drama, but this one is an exception.I'd seen a few Chinese dramas before this, but they left a bad taste in my mouth. I had watched Love020, A Love So Beautiful, Falling into Your Smile, Love Scenery, and some other dramas that I can't recall because I dropped them. It's either because of poor acting by the main characters, or the character is annoying, or they acting like a robot, or because the scene is too long and they focus too much on the second lead couple.
This drama proves that a simple romance genre can be excellent without a complicated and heavy plot. This is a simple drama, but it is a very well-done drama with interesting dialogue, a great plot, great casting, the characters did so well, and great directing by the director herself.

Best modern drama ever!
Wow! More than 16k comments. Almost close to WRTW and to think that this drama is only 25 episodes. I can totally understand why. I love, love this drama and I can't stop raving how it is so awesome in many different ways. Let me start with the casting. Lusi and Zheyuan have brought to life DJX and SZ. Their chemistry feels so natural I feel like they're a real couple sharing us their lovelife. Both leads slayed their role. CZY have gone a long way since OS. He can now show micro expressions with his eyes and those scenes were poignant. Lusi never disappoints. She always have the gift to take her viewers along. When she cries, I tear up and when she laughs, I also wanna laugh with her.I love the pacing and the plot. It's not draggy and no filler episodes. Everything happened fast and each conflict the couple have is resolved and cleared right away. I love the sibling dynamics. Victor Ma is the perfect SY and together with Lusi, they look like your typical brother-sister who's always bickering but their love for each other runs deep. There's just enough exposure for the side characters and the focus has been kept on the main couple which I love to see so much. The story is written so well. This is definitely my fave modern drama of all time!

Light and Warm, and visually pleasing!
This is the type of drama we need to unwind after long, tired days. It’s light but not too light, and it warms your heart perfectly.The ML and FL’s visuals are so so so adorable. Their overflowing chemistry adds everything so perfect and makes it so hard to resist.
I know that the story like Sang Zhi and Duan JiaXu is too good to be true, but I love how realistic the interaction in Sang Zhi’s family is. First, between Sang Zhi and her brother, Sang Yan. Seems real just like bro-sis in real life.
Second, the moment Sang Zhi’s parents convey their concerns about Duan JiaXu directly to him. I mean, despite how good man that he is, it’s just what happens in life, parents will still be worried about their daughter’s potential unhappiness, no matter how small it is. But they’re also reasonable enough to finally put trust in their daughter’s choice and say that if anything, they got their daughter’s back no matter what.

Lovely
I love this drama so much, amazing cast... They look so natural and beautifully executed. Overall this drama gives comfort and peace. No negativity. Everything is perfect. I wish these two will make another drama. I have been looking for a drama that only for good vibes and no complications. This is super! Sometimes, you just want to watch drama that no rival. Just, purely themeselves no villain or whatsoever. I am waiting for another drama with these couples. I hope it will be soon. I miss this two lovey dovey. A story of love, family and friendships
This drama reminds me of Road Home, in terms of the romance. You have this couple that is so respectful, protecting, caring, understanding, so loving towards each other and pushing each other to be the best versions of themselves. These types of romances make you feel so wistful and giddy, but we so rarely get to see these so it makes it all the more special when we have a drama portray this kind of healthy romance.While there was drama in this series, it was mainly from things surrounding the couple and not from the couple themselves. So, you wouldn't get frustrated at the drama that's happening. Instead, it would make you fall more in love with the couple because you get to see how they stand by each other, protect each other through the drama and resolve it together. I swear Sang Zhi and Duan Jia Xu are the greenest of f-ing flags you will ever get to see.
Another huge positive was this drama had one of the best family dynamics I've seen. Sang Zhi's relationship with her parents and her brother was sooo good. I loved how open their family was and respectful. I had so many laugh out loud moments watching this show mainly because of the sibling relationship between Sang Zhi and Sang Yan. Also, the friendships between Sang Zhi and her college roomates and Duan Jia Xu and his buddies was so wholesome and funny too.
All the actors did a fantastic job, Zhao Lusi is such a wonderful actress to watch. Her performance was so good and I was whole heartedly immersed in her portrayal of Sang Zhi.
Overall, if you are looking to watch a very sweet, low-drama, romantic, and funny series, definitely give this a go as you would not be dissapointed at all.

A perfect Feel Good Story.
For me, Hidden Love is one of the Best dramas of 2023.The relationship between the siblings was delightful to watch. They portrayed the day-to-day banter between Sang Yan and Sang Zhi very accurately.
The chemistry between the Leads was excellent too. They did a fantastic job to bring these characters to life, their personality and relationship was very real. The build-up took time, but after that, it was very real and heartwarming to watch.
All the characters helped the show in their way. Sang Zhi's University friends and Jiaxu's Office colleagues also contributed to the drama very much. They are an integral part of the story.
The main plus point is the drama justified its title "Hidden Love". Those who have experienced Hidden crush / Love can relate to the emotional journey Sang Zhi goes through.
Also, there is no toxicity in this show. So one can enjoy this show and this show can make one's spirit go up.
The OST complements the show well too.
Every good thing has to end. Hidden Love has ended too. But I will rewatch it soon and no matter how many times I rewatch it, THIS DRAMA WILL never be old or monotonous to me.
I recommend everyone to watch this drama.

Heartwarming and fluttering
I absolutely adore this drama.The drama adaptation of a novel by the same name develops a friendship turned romance.
We follow the FL, Sang Zhi, growing up and developing a crush turned first love towards her brothers best friend Duan Jiaxu. During her childhood, he is a supporting friend who sees her as a little sister. During this time, their relationship is truly that of friendship or siblings, with him helping her out with school and her harboring this secret crush.
Heartbroken and young, Sang Zhi looses contact with him on purpose to get over her love for him. When they reunite, her being in university in the same city as him, they restart their friendship and support each other. Slowly a budding romance starts to bloom that had me smiling and giggling all the time. By the time they are romantically interested in each other and developing a romance, they are both consenting adults with a 5 years age gap. This is something they both take into account and thus the romance and chemistry is immensly there whilst going at a slower pace to respect both of the characters consent and pace.
FL's older brother Sang Yan adds an comedic and warming place in the story. Him being the overprotective older brother that likes to joke a little much with Sang Zhi, further reminds us of the playful ways Sang Zhi used to behave towards her brother when she was younger.
Both Sang Zhi and Duan Jiaxu have their troubles along the way but their relationship is for the most part, very impressive with great communication and trust between each other.
I binged this drama in two weeks and didn't really feel the urge to skip forward in most of the scenes. Both main characters are exceptionally acted by their actors Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan, and Victor Ma as the brother, who each really gave wonderful light to the story with brilliant portrayal. The music complimented the story so much with its love-themed ballads and song. This is one of the few dramas that I would consider 10/10 for me.
Its the perfect youth-drama if you are looking for an fluttering romance where the actors have ALOT of chemistry and lovely dovey scenes. The first part of the drama focuses on family and one-sided first love. Moving on to the second part where FL has grown, focuses on friendship, a slowgrowing romance (between adults!) and family.
I really do recommend this to everyone that likes a drama where romance can be portrayed in various ways and where the young protagonist San Zhi grows with time and experience new things when reaching adult age.

I grew up again with Sang Zhi and Jiaxu and fell in love all over again.
I was 15 when I started watching dramas. I’m 30 now, romance in dramas doesn’t capture me as much now. I want to fall in love again like I used to and this drama made it happen. I’m writing this crying because it ended and it was just too good. This drama was perfect, from start to end, their love story and how it progressed. I’m craving more even now. She got her dream and the little girl in me lived my own dreams with her. The slow way their love this progressed. I thought it might feel weird since they met when she was so small, but their story gradually passed through time and blossomed in a beautiful way. I loved it so much.Was this review helpful to you?
Different from others “typical cdrama”
The story is different from any typical chinese drama. This is one of the best production for me. I love the plot and their acting is no joke, the chemistry makes me failed to moving on from them until now. They really did a great job for casting the actors! Loved the cinematography too. The characters all good, theres no freakin evil one. Idk i can say the story is quite healthy and good for healing. Well, for me, theres still has the cdramas vibes but this one is more makes sense ykwim. I just love this sm. heartwarming Drama
Today I finished itthe drama is perfect in all respects, and the most thing I liked about it is the romance with a “realistic” character, which many Chinese Dramas Lack of the character of realism, to be Honest.
The Chimestry between the FM & M leads and the rest of the characters,The story, the smoothness of Their LOVE Hints, the Shooting Quality, The acting, and the absence of embarrassing Moments or “Creepy and Gloves” under the name of Love is the best thing in this Drama (wonderful point).
I classify it as one of the top 10 romantic dramas I've watched in my life, not only By Asian Dramas
I enjoyed it very much and Completed it, although it is impossible for me to finish a drama. I always leave the last two episodes and do not watch it
I liked all its details, but what I didn't like was only one thing; It is the bold moments between them .. Because the FM Lead is considered a teenager in the drama, and the M lead is a young man in his twenties, so it is supposed to be pure love until she gets a little older!!
But the Whole drama is a masterpiece and there's no Complication in, I just and Their heartwarming Romance made me fluttering..
The last episode touched my heart and left very deep impact in my heart and Soul
I would say it is the best romantic C-drama ever
Also, It deserves the fame it got, the first places On charts and Congratulations Netflix Bought the drama rights.
Finally.. Any drama, whatever its nationality, the production company for, and the actors, as long as the cast did a great Job, it will succeed and impose its success Everywhere, Like what Happened with Hidden Love
