Oh No! Here Comes Trouble

不良執念清除師 ‧ Drama ‧ 2023
Similar group(s) of people searching and chasing after ghosts.
OH no here comes trouble, is much more Comedy than Revenant, but also has an interesting storyline similar to revenant

I'm surprised this recommendation hasn't been made already! Tseng Chih Hua is mesmerizing to watch, so why stop at only one of his works? Especially if you're a fan of queerly bittersweet coming of age stories.

- both have a special gift.

- both have deceased dads.

- both have a rag tag group of friends.

- both are loners.

Same basic elements, kids with superpowers in a high school environment, and how people around them deal with this. Moving doesn't seem very comedic, though.

Entertaining big families that come close to heart.
The way both dramas deal with family-only dynamics is peaceful.
Full of comedy.
Heart-filling romances.
Double in-law couples.

similarities:
- two man one women team
- they are both about afterlife/spirtis/gods
- both of them concentrate on helping people after their death
- both have scenes that will make you emotional
- they contain elements of comedy, fantasy, action and even thriller
They are definitely worth watching so give it a try!

Along With the Gods is a movie and Oh No Here Comes Trouble is a 12 ep drama

Supernatural powers (seeing ghosts and other critters of the night), helping to save (some of) them, a bit of detective work, an interesting ragtag team... There's an underlying current of personal hurt & healing that brings it all together.

Although they differ greatly in genre and plot, they both have similarities:

- Both feature the developing friendship between two high school boys, and how they go from strangers to inseparable

- In both, one of the boys is stoic, strong and lazy in their studies while the other is very studious, intelligent and physically weaker. The dynamics of their friendship are similar, where they take time to warm up to each other, with circumstance pushing them closer.

- Both feature bouts of hand-to-hand combat, though WHC is a lot more violent and has way more fights than ONHCT, which is more of a supernatural genre.

- Both have emotional plots!!

- Both end in a similar way :(

In these two dramas, a member from police needs the help from a student ( so someone who is not a detective and is supposedly not qualified to participate in an investigation, but he is ). The male lead is really smart in KSNJ5 and can do things that others can't ( mainly in ONHCT). But although they are good at investigating, they are not really smart in studies so others often look down on them.
In both dramas, they do not investigate common cases, mainly in ONHCT because it is a fantastic drama with supernatural elements. Both dramas can be both funny and really serious.
I would say that ONHCT is more serious because it deals with the theme of mourning througout all the drama. Neverthless, it still is a really funny drama even more than KSNJ5 in my opinion.

both are Taiwanese comedies that revolve around young adults getting mixed up with supernatural elements.

both have characters that are cold towards each other but warm up quickly - so plenty of bromance !!

Visually hyper-stylish urban fantasies that plunge into dark moral quandries with a rare empathetic sweetness.

Rainless Love is more romance/fable, Oh No! is more horror/mystery, but they both tackle traumatic topics with humor and humanity.

This remind me of Goblin. They can see ghosts. The spirit wondering around couldn’t settle. They need the superpower supernatural human to help them between two worlds
