both deal with family issues, especially the bond between parents and kids. both shows explore themes of redemption and growth, with characters dealing with past mistakes and trying to heal emotionally. they also mix humor with serious moments, making it feel real and relatable. the settings are also in small towns or close knit communities

Both dramas place a strong emphasis on the dynamic between a mother and her child.

Beyond the mother-child relationship, both dramas portray the importance of love and support within the broader family and community.

The Good Bad Mother" also depicts the role of the supportive villagers in Jowoori in helping Young-soon and Kang-ho on their journey.

Both revolve around age regression
Both have the main character reverted to a 7-year-old mindset.
Both are revolved around a car accident.

I think it has a similar style. With the break ups between the mainleads and the memoryloss they are suffering from. It really reminds me of the good bad mother.

Best Rural themed romantic korean dramas to date. The Good Bad Mother is more melo and Potato lab is a comedy but both have great acting from leads to secondary actors.

Although the plot lines are very different, one about amnesia the other death, I believe they evoke similar feelings as you go through everything with the ML (and side characters) on their journey of healing and closure.

Same setting
Han Ji Yool works as a veterinarian in Seoul. One day, he receives a phone call from his grandfather. His grandfather doesn’t mention specifics, but his voice sounds serious. Han Ji Yool decides to go to Heedong Village, where his grandfather lives and runs an animal clinic. There, Han Ji Yool meets police officer Ahn Ja Young. It turns out his grandfather is actually touring Europe. According to the note left by his grandfather, Han Ji Yool has to take over his grandfather’s animal clinic for a half year, while his grandfather is away. Even when Ahn Ja Young was preparing for her test to become a police officer, she wanted to work as a police officer in Heedong Village, where she grew up. She is usually the first one to appear and provide help to residents in need. She helps Han Ji Yool solve inconveniences related to his daily life in the village and they develop a romantic relationship.

The FL from Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and the ML from this drama both are from medical field, one a dentist and the other a vet.

Both of them moved to a small town/secluded area from Seoul, one to open a small dental clinic while the other to take care of his grandfather's vet clinic

Both of them are not familiar with the vibe of the village when they first came

both has that countryside vibes
- male lead and female lead are not fond of each other but soon fell for each other
- similar plot on the love triangle
- both falls on the comedy genre
- cute lovelines
- both can be consider as a comfort drama

watch this if you really like the small-town/country vibes of this drama. I
It's very chill and relaxing and it does have some other subplots, but it is very slice-of-life focused.
(subplots include some romance and a mystery)

Similarity:
- Both male leads grow up poor and then try to infiltrate the wealthy upper class to gain power.
-There is a lot of emphasis on social class and wealth in both, which is my main point of why oyu should watch both.
- Both ML's have tough relationships with their families, that improve as the story goes on.
- Both ML's leave the female lead to pursue their plans only to realize that it's not worth it to go on with her.
- Both ML's are originally shown to be socially inept and apathetic toward others in the beginning (but of course that changes).
-Both get the justice they seek, but in two very different ways.

Differences:
While in both Good Bad Mother and Golden Spoon the ML completely disregards their families, in the GBM there is a lot of emphasis on the relationship between the mother and the son. Yet, in Golden Spoon, it's focused on his family and friends in general.

They're both so good and dramatic. I recommend.
