Xue Fang Fei Encounters Obstacles on Her Return Journey to the Capital to Redress Grievances of Huaixiang People
With the help of the Huaixiang townspeople, Fang Fei prevents the execution of her father. She travels with them, back to the capital to redress the false accusations against her father. Princess Wan Ning and Chancellor Li scheme to prevent her from reaching the capital. Meanwhile, famine brought on by a long drought is plaguing the people of the southern regions. Fang Fei decides to stay and help the starving people.
