Ruo Yao learns to stand up for herself and refuses the engagement proposal with the Qi family, angering her mother. Fang Fei learns of her old maid’s whereabouts and summons Duke Su’s aid to help find her. She also seeks out Aunt Hu and discovers Madam Ji caused the death of her daughter. Madam Ji tries to enact the Imperial Diviner’s revenge on her father then sets a plan in motion to target Fang Fei, at the expense of Ruo Yao. (Source: frankly at kisskh)
