Episode Title: Lord Cheng Is Defeated. Xue Fang Fei and Xiao Heng Weds
Duke Su is surrounded by Shen Yu Rong’s Longwu army, but Fang Fei returns to her beloved, and Shen Yu Rong can’t bring himself to hurt her again. Lord Cheng is brought to justice, but not without severe consequences. Fang Fei’s father regains his memories, and she finally tells Chancellor Jiang that she is not Jiang Li. Duke Su and Fang Fei marry before Duke Su heads to the border to quell the Dai attack. Fang Fei waits for his return with anticipation and worry.

The Double Episode 40 Reactions
The beginning of this drama was really upsetting I cried quiet a bit in the first few episodes,And the ending has left me in limbo.But I have to say it was brilliant and I watched all 40Episodes in 2 days

Pretty good wrapping up of things BUT....WHY DID YOU KILL OFF THE TWO BODYGUARDS FOR NO REASON? They could have lived but they just decided to off them for 'drama.' Plus, the ending doesn't reveal if Duke Su survives or not. She appears in a dream-like world and he magically rides in on his horse after we see him literally fighting an army alone. Pretty sure they killed him off too so watching 40 episodes to get this type of ending just leaves me upset.

The basic plot of this show is so enticing, I was so in love with the female lead, but as the show progressed, the female lead found herself depending on the male lead to take her out of sticky situations, this is not necessarily a fault however, as most Chinese shows tend to portray the female lead as a damsel in distress. In this particular show, her identity makes her very vulnerable and she tries her best to use her strengths. I loved that. As for romance, I feel a bit starved, I wanted a bit more..pl,us the kiss scenes were very few...very short..very disappointing..nevertheless the actors still managed to draw out the romantic atmosphere with little skinship. This is worth the watch!

Que ódio. Terminei esse drama. Me venderam que ia ser maravilhoso, que eu ia amar, que seria incrível. E o que eu recebo? Algo muito ruim. Fiquei insistindo, imaginando que o drama ia melhorar, ia engatar… Não. Não é só que o final foi ruim — é que ele nem decidiu nada direito. Tinha tempo de sobra, mas eles preferiram fazer um final “ok”, como se isso resolvesse tudo. O Shen Yu Rong e o príncipe Cheng já tinham morrido, os demais cúmplices também, a família Li foi presa e condenada à morte. Beleza, tudo resolvido.Aí eu fiquei muito triste porque a Consort Li também acabou morrendo — ela tirou a própria vida. Fiquei com pena do Imperador, porque quase não tivemos momentos de amor entre os dois, só um pouquinho lá no final… e logo depois ela se mata. Foi triste.Outro ponto dessa bagunça que me deixou revoltada: eles tiveram um monte de tempo e, mesmo assim, nada foi desenvolvido direito. Aquela cena do Jiang Yuan Bai falando que sabia que a Fang Fei não era a Jiang Li foi linda, eu realmente me emocionei. Gostei também do reencontro dos quatro amigos. Deu pra perceber que o Jiang Jing Rui e a Liu Xu estavam juntos, mas não teve desenvolvimento nenhum desse casal. Odiei isso.Nem sei por onde começar, porque é tanto arrependimento. Mas o que mais me deixou nervosa sobre o final — nem foi a morte do Wen Ji e do Lu Ji no final — foi o fato de que eu jurei que o Duque Su ia morrer… e ele não morreu. Só que aí nem mostraram o reencontro dele com a Fan Fei. Nada. Não apareceu Duque Su, não apareceu Fang Fei se encontrando com ele. Fiquei: “O que está acontecendo? O que eu perdi?”Eu não sei nem qual é meu sentimento final sobre essa obra. Tô revoltada. Sinto que fui enganada. Tô com ódio. E o pior é que eu já ia assistir esse drama de qualquer jeito porque estava na minha lista. Agora eu só me sinto uma trouxa. Tô com muita raiva. O drama foi muito bom no início, mas foi desandando… Decepcionada. Me sinto uma trouxa enganada.
