Messy relationships and the friendships one needs

I'm very much enjoying the progression of the leads' relationship. Their cross company mentor-mentee-ship continues to bring a new spin to the story. The sismance is also going strong. Lin Lang has so many issues, I'm truly feeling for her but she let it out in front of the wrong person and continues to fail to see that.

The intern self help club

So this episode we find out that Lin Long was indeed set up. 🤣I can’t feel sorry for her other than dealing with that thoughtless creep of a husband. There she has my sympathies and hopefully they will part ways soon. Xu Chi’s senior was tired of frick and frack teaming up on Xu Chi and warned her that her mentor snooped through her desk drawers…often. Then Zhao Heng noticed the pics on her phone and warned Xu Chi. So Xu Chi fabricated an entire scenario with Ye Xin Zhi and had him send signed documents so Lin Long would do exactly what she did. What she was unaware of was they were misc public documents and the signature in disappearing ink. 🤣😂so Ms Lin was correct about the situation but she completely overlooked how she contributed until her boss laid it out for her pretty plainly. So now she is on forced maternity leave which is a good thing because she has what could be a troublesome pregnancy. Her attitude would be much better if she had any family support. I am surprised his parents are using her funds to get them an apartment rather than on doting on future grandchild. This part surprised Ye Xin Zhi. She confessed to using him to set up her mentorand wanted to be sure no further gossip could jeopardize his project. He was stunned that after all this she was concerned about his welfare most. He returned the favor by taking her to the restaurant where all the local CEOS were collected and introduced her as his jr and her family had requested him to help her out. Her boss was there and knew something a bit off but willing to go with it. I think she is aware that Xu Chi really doesn’t have family. In a surprise twist the rich Bu Tian Na really doesn’t have family either. Once they had the son…she became obsolete and their only interest is marrying her off and getting her out of the house. Her mom doesn’t seem as bad as the dad, but since she doesn;t stand up for her….well that speaks volumes. Here our trio are helping Ms Bu get home after self medicating with alcohol. Zhao Heng is given a cautionary pass from Xu Chi in trying to be Bu Tian Na’s Prince Charming. He knows he will get the Lin Long treatment if he messes thing up. 🤣😂 Xu Chi drops by her mom’s old apartment regularly hoping to buy it. Right now it is not up for sale but she keeps hoping by the time she has the money the owner will be ready to part with it. Hope Bu Tia Na’s project goes as successfully as Xu Chi’s. Cyndi congratulates her in getting Lin Long out of the office. Here I don’t think Xu Chi wants mixed up in their sniping back and forth. It was a necessary circumstance because of the toxic work environment her mentor was making for her…not something she planned on doing as a matter of course. One interesting circumstance is Ye the legend is considering hiring her to be one of his trusted people with sensitive info. This would be a far better training ground than where she is currently. Now the interns wonder if Lu Le the sidekick will be similar trouble as her friend Ms Lin. Hopefully this will get her helping her friend and doing her job at work which should not be downgrading future employees efforts to appease wounded egos. 😝🙄
