The character development episode

Honestly, I think this episode added much needed perspective for all the characters involved. For Khanin we see a person who's having a hard time adjusting to his new role and suddenly having to do so alone when the person he fell for is technically right there and he has the power to bring him back. For Charan we see a glimpse of what his life was like before this whole thing started and we FINALLY see a dent on the perfect facade he was trying so hard to sell. For Ramil, I think we understand better why he needs to win and not make any mistakes. As much as this episodes bring out the bdsm and more... violent side of him, I think it also shows how much he cares to protect the one thing he was able to ever call his. Paytai clearly knows what he got himself into but we can also see that he cares about Khanin and unlike Ramil, he doesn't want anyone getting hurt for his own benefit. I sure hope they don't give away Calvin's real persona right away because I want to see where this plot can go.

Welcome to

This episode cracked me up!Khanin is really at his wits end .... Sending messages to Charan, not getting a reply, going to the art school to see him. Ensuring he got Charan as his coach but he wasn't expecting that drill!.... A must watch I must say!

Important episode

Some viewers might see this episode as filler or unnecessary, but I strongly disagree. It plays a crucial role in deepening our understanding of Khanin, his motives, his desperation, and the emotional weight he's carrying. He’s not just developing feelings for Charan; he’s grappling with profound loneliness. That isolation is suffocating him, and it's clear he’ll do whatever it takes to keep Charan close, simply because the thought of being alone again is unbearable. Khanin has endured so much, and emotionally, he’s barely hanging on.The side couples aren’t just background. They’re essential. Ramil’s possessiveness and cruelty, and the glimpse into what fuels his actions, add real weight to the narrative. And as for the people confused about Charan's smile, I found it obvious. He’s slowly falling for the little prince. The facade is cracking, and we’re beginning to see the softer side he’s been trying so hard to hide.

Welcome to Morpheus

This episode marks a stunning new chapter as we step into Morpheus University—a setting that’s as vibrant and visually rich as the stories unfolding within it. The cinematography is nothing short of breathtaking. From moody shadows to golden light spilling across quiet hallways, every frame feels intentional, immersive, and cinematic. It sets the tone perfectly for the secrets, tension, and emotional pull woven through this episode. At the heart of it all is the electrifying dynamic between Prince Khanin and Professor Charan. Their chemistry continues to burn quietly beneath the surface, full of subtle glances, unspoken emotions, and moments charged with vulnerability. While Khanin’s bold, impulsive energy ignites each scene, Charan’s calm restraint adds a powerful counterbalance—one that makes every interaction feel loaded with meaning. But it’s not all seriousness—Episode 5 also brings moments of levity, especially through the hilarious Tom-and-Jerry-like relationship between Khanin and his long-suffering butler, Chakri. Their bickering, banter, and dramatic antics are comedy gold and provide the perfect comic relief while deepening our understanding of their bond.We also begin to see more characters stepping into the spotlight, adding complexity and color to the narrative. Importantly, the show continues to weave in real-world themes, like the subtle nod to pollution, showing that even in a fantastical setting, the story remains grounded in reality.Well-paced, emotionally layered, and visually exquisite—Episode 5 isn’t just a transition into a new setting, it’s a masterful escalation of everything that makes *The Next Prince* so captivating. It sets the stage for even greater revelations, and we’re more hooked than ever.

An Emotion-Packed Episode That Left Me Craving More!

This episode was incredibly emotion-provoking. The BGM was spot-on. The clan conflicts made the viewer feel like part of the drama. The tension between Ramil and Paytai? The angst was palpable from miles away. JJ and Calvin were absolute sweethearts. And Charan finally started simping. ...No notes, this was TOO satisfying. I haven’t felt this hyped and desperate for the next episode in a long time! Love the series sooo much <<<3

Five Stars

Episode 5 felt like the calm before the storm. Less drama, more setup—but still plenty of soft chaos to go around.Khanin? Still very much not focused on Emmaly. And he’s not subtle about it. Half princely duties, half lovesick chaos gremlin. Childish at times, yes, but let’s not forget: his real goal isn’t being the prince - it’s finding his adoptive dad and holding onto the people he actually loves. Charan included. And from this point of few... He isn`t on the wrong way... Ramil and Paytai… now that’s a story of it`s own. There’s love there, but under the pressure of expectations (Rachata I talk to you), it’s twisted into something toxic. Ramil clings to control—collars, leashes, power plays - because he’s terrified of losing Paytai. You can see the love, but it’s constantly shaped by power - Ramil wants to own, to keep, to protect in the only way he knows how: total control. Paytai gives in, not because he’s weak, but because he loves back… but he’s given up a lot of himself in this all. It’s devotion, but at a high cost.We also finally meet Net and JJ’s characters - and the royal tournament prep begins! Definitely a set-up episode for what’s coming, but full of soft (and jealous) moments to keep us fed until the next royal drama drop. Ep. 6 can`t come fast enough!!!
