AUAUSAVE!!! Their Chemistry is already here. MUST WATCH
Finally Fanboy is here!!!!! I have been waiting for this for months and it did not disappoint.==========================
The beginning of this storyline is soooooo exciting and interesting. It follows a fanboy, Wan (Save), who accidentally and unintentionally gets labeled a sasaeng (tho he isn’t one, just very big fan) of Nine (James) , a popular rising actor starring in a new series paired with the best supporting actor Third (Auau). Wan learns of his family financial problems and though not at first, agrees to audition to be an actor for the same series.
First impressions of the characters. Wan is absolutely adorable. He is so cute and playful and honestly doesn’t mean any harm in being a fanboy ( side note: in no way shape or form do I condone sasaengs, but Wan isn’t one ). Third seems like a cold, hard focused and disciplined rising actor who feels pressure from his mother to succeed. Nine, from the few scenes we have seen, seems like a cocky sort of arrogant and self-centered actor who gives the audience what they want, a little disingenuously though.
============================
So far, this series is extremely interesting and it does show some sides of the industry that may not be good: forcing a promotional pairing for a series popularity, managers fighting for and / or causing problems for their actors (i.e. managers fighting each other)
The CHEMISTRY between AuauSave is already here and it is amazing. They complement each other so well and their acting has definitely grown. Can’t wait to see where this series goes
==========================
Side Note: OMG!!! I loved the camoes, TeeTeePor, ThomasKong, and their upcoming series. They all looked gorgeous. And of course from DEXX. Chitty Chitty Clang Clang.
(I will be updating this review as the series progresses.

Up to Ep 3 Thoughts / Review (mainly my thoughts hehe):
I really did enjoy EP 2, it showed the beginning of Wan’s journey in the entertainment industry and the many things he has yet to learn. Also to Wan’s manager, I sort of feel bad for her. She has to juggle both managing Wan and Renji, which only leads to some issues like Wan being late and unprepared for the workshop. This show has done well to show some struggles in the real industry.
The end of EP 2, amazing, We got Third looking at Wan with more heart and emotion, but NINE, he really is a two faced actor.
EP 3 was absolutely amazing. I LOVED IT SO MUCH
This EP gave us so many ThirdWan moments that I literally couldn’t stop screaming from their cuteness and excitement. The running scene (THEY HELD HANDS!!!!!! Third grabbed WAN”S HAND Just ahhhhhhhhh ), the inhaler scene was just too cute. And the swimming pool, THE SWIMMING POOL SCENE. They are just so perfect for each other that I can’t stop watching them.
Side thought: every time I see the manager of Third and Nine with the mushroom on their head, I can’t help but laugh Ahahshehehe
The scene with Wan learning the photo poses was just sooooooo cute. Save you are doing a phenomenal job!!!!
TO the production team of ‘The Deep Between Us’ series, why did you think that casting the main pairing in the show with two actors who don’t like each other nor have visible chemistry with each other was a good idea. Also to everyone in the team who isn’t the director, you all chose Wan knowing he was a COMPLETE ROOKIE with no experience, you knew that and yet you still complained that he was unprepared and wasn’t a great actor at the very start. HUH?????? (***This is only my thoughts towards this part of the show, I have no complaints about including or writing any of this into the series, I love it****)
AND NINE, you evil, two faced, lying, and APPARENTLY ATTEMPTING MURDERING SOB. HOW DARE YOU TOUCH WAN, he is literally the cutest most innocent human on the planet.

Attached and Invested
I’ve been enjoying Mr. Fanboy so far, and Auau and Save’s portrayal of ThirdWan is definitely one of my favorite things about it. I especially love how they handle the more intimate scenes and serious talks because you can really appreciate their acting in those moments. They make ThirdWan so easy to get attached to, and I just love seeing them bring these characters to life.RenjiTime are also such intriguing characters, and Ryujin and Patji are doing a great job portraying them! And James Su, PLEASE, his performance as Nine in the latest episode deserves so much appreciation. It’s always nice seeing actors really deliver when it comes to their characters.
Having read the novel, I also appreciate the differences between it and the series. It makes me even more curious about how they’ll wrap everything up, especially with how the series has chosen to tell the story. I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how everything comes together.
Overall, I’m really enjoying this series, and the cast is a big reason why. Here’s hoping the remaining episodes give these characters the ending they deserve!

A MUST WATCH OF 2026
This drama is an award deserving drama, actors also deserve awards especiallyThird " he executed his character awesomely well, the aloof nonchalant guy with a good heart, am i the only one obsessed with his looks and smile in the drama?? Dayyumm his wardrobe, his fashion sense hits the spot, it fits his character so good"
Wan, the character portraying the naive innocent little fanboy. Lol, he was amazing," being the clueless character was kinda interesting, his cluelessness was on another level, " like how can you tell me my IQ is less the 70 and I'd be very happy my IQ is as high as 70 and thank you".
Nine"did good in portraying the good on the surface, rotten from within role, he gid great"
Renji and Time, " am I the only person who think they hit it off, these characters were nicely written and portrayed by the actors, their focus on being chaos seekers were nicely done"
The stylist characters and their petty arguments and fights pushed the comedy part of it up, it made me want more of the drama,
I seriously can't mention all but this drama hit it off, luckily so far there's no unwanted spin-off or plot twist that will cause ratings to decline. This is great
The crew did an amazing job, the directors, the producers, the screenwriter, the cinematographers, the writer, make-up and styling team, the appearance of all the characters were amazing and a clean cut

genuinely so confusing but in a good way?
such an emotional rollercoaster.episode nine abruptly ending with let's break up was so heartbreaking. I honestly believed that nine was finally innocent but what the hell. also the acting? hello, i love the fact that it's like a kind of complicated series which needs a lot of acting skills if that makes sense. it really shows off the cast's acting skills especially james like everytime nine comes on screen I'm so pissed off but it's a really good series and it definitely deserves all the hype.

Mr. Fanboy stole my heart (and my sanity ?)
I waited over a year for Mr. Fanboy and it was absolutely worth the wait.Third and Wan are incredibly cute together and their relationship feels natural and genuine. Every episode surprises me, and just when I think I know what's going to happen, another plot twist appears.
As someone who feels emotions deeply, this series completely pulls me in. It makes me laugh, cry, get angry at certain characters (cough Nine cough 😭), and then immediately smile again.
Mr. Fanboy has quickly become one of my favorite BL series alongside Duang With You.
I just LOVE this series sooooo much!!
I 1 000 000% recommend you to watch this if you haven't!! It's going to be the best moments of you life!!! (I hope at least!) Good luck watching Mr. Fanboy!! 😉

THE MOST PERFECT CAST AND PLOT ?
I hope this doesn’t come off biased since I am a big day 1 AuauSave fan but Mr Fanboy really deserves the praise it’s receiving right now, the company could’ve made this series into a complete rom-com and not portray the issues as seriously but they didn’t and for that I’m grateful. The comedic aspects of Mr Fanboy are toned down so we can get a giggle but go right back to focusing on the issues the characters are facing, not just that but they also give more depth to each character. Even the makeup artists in the series who normally don’t speak much in other series, they too have important roles besides being there to provide comedic relief. No detail is to disregarded in this series, and it’s been so fun to see casual BL watchers be so engaged into the discussion about each episode, as a fan I’m so proud of the cast and production team for their amazing work truly!! My AuauSave you guys are finally on your way to stardom🥹 I’m so happy 🤧 another thing I’d like to add…the OSTsssss out of this world! Please keep up this standard, we need a DEXX song on this list neowww, don’t make me wait too long plzWas this review helpful to you?
one of the best bls of 2026
I had high expectations for this series and i’m glad that my expectations are being met!I love how it shows what actually happens behind the scenes, it reminds us that at the end of the day fans only see what they are allowed to see. The industry is competitive and hurtful, one day you’re loved the other you’re the number 1 public enemy because of a rumor. I’ve read the novel and all I can say is that I can’t wait to see how things will turn out in the drama considering they did make some changes.
auausave’s chemistry is incredible and the acting is great ! i like the cast a lot !

better as it went on
Overall: the beginning was cringey; however, the series kept getting better and better. 12 episodes about 50 minutes each. https://www.iq.com/play/mr-fanboy-episode-1-1dyrv206y2o?lang=en_usContent Warning: panic attack, manipulation, slap, intimate partner abuse (not between the main or side couple)
Watch Suggestions (to cut out a lot of the manager/show drama and focus on the romantic relationships)
- I might go back and re-watch episodes 1 & 2 for timings
- episode 3 watch 18-24:30, 41-49, 53-58
- episode 4 watch 4 3:40-4:11, 17:15-22, 43-45:20, 49-end
- episode 5 watch 16-end
- episode 6 watch 18:10-22:30, 43:45-end
- episode 7 watch beginning -7:30, 33:45-37:20, 1hr-1hr 6
- episode 8 watch beginning-35:50, 40:45-end 8
What I Liked
- showed other acting pairs with cameos
- acting, James in particular was fantastic
- sweet moments
- intimacy (good consent in episode 8)
- chaos gremlin
Room For Improvement
- the stalking thing in episode 1, he was in the wrong but then threatened to drag the company on social media so then the company caved
- fan stuff was a bit cringey
- too much with catty managers (felt like stereotypes of effeminate men/trans women)

I hope Ryujin's shoulders are okay after carrying this series (Uncut)
Just joking though, everyone did an incredible job with this series, and I'm genuinely so surprised at how everything turned out.Sure, I had some high expectations for this series, but nothing could've prepared me for how insanely good this would be.
This is incredible, and I think everyone needs to watch it. The acting is literally off the charts, the plot is super interesting and intriguing, and so much more. The more you watch, the better it gets, and this series will definitely become one of those you won't forget for a while after watching it.
You can watch it on iQIYI: https://www.iq.com/album/mr-fanboy-2026-16idaae4ye9?lang=en_us
Things I liked:
1. Other Domundi couples cameo. I did not expect to see so many Domundi couples in this series. Definitely a happy surprise though.
2. The chemistry. Auau and Save have incredible chemistry.
3. RyuPat. So happy and excited to finally see them in action, and omg, they did not disappoint! Their acting and their chemistry. I'm in love.
4. Interesting plot. I personally haven't seen a series with a similar premise before, so it really feels like something new and exciting.
5. How this series shows the real side of working in the entertainment industry.
6. Acting. From main actors down to extras, everyone is doing an incredible job. I also want to specificly point out James's acting because you know the actor is good when you just despise their character. That means they achieved what they needed to, and James definitely did.
7. Renji. He is my favorite character in the whole series. He is a troublemaker, he loves the drama and is not scared to start some himself. I love how open, real, and extremely funny he is.
8. Established couple RenjiTime. Honestly unexpected but so good.
9. Wan's sister View.
10. All of the plot twists constantly keeping me on the edge of my seat.
Things I disliked:
1. How childish and gullible Wan's character is in the first part of the series. I know it's supposed to show how innocent he is for this industry, but still it took him way too long, in my opinion, to open his eyes.

Idk how I feel
James needs serious improvement his face is too stiff for my liking as an actor that’s been here for a while he should be doing better and I feel one dmd is just forcing the whole thing because why is everyone from the company there ?Especially Zee I had jump scare seeing him his face is stiff more than ever Jesus Christ
They made his entrance such a dramatic thing
The way they’re adding every one from the company is lowkey taking away attention from the other two
Anyway
The other two are trying tho idk their names but I’ll be watching out for now meh
