I’m surprised by how much I love this series—The pain of getting attacked every time, it hurts
So, I started watching Mr. Fanboy quite late, and when I start it got me hooked, I waited every week for it. It's a shame that only one episode gets out every week, it's really hard to wait for literal 7 days for itt.The story follows Wan, a devoted fanboy who has idolised the famous actor Nine for years, capturing every moment through his camera lens. Wan is completely over the moon when he finally meets Nine at an event. However, his deep love for Nine fuels an intense hatred for Third, Nine’s on-screen partner. Third openly despises their "ThirdNine" ship, wanting the fandom to stop because he hates the fake intimacy built around his name. In contrast, Nine leans into the fan service for popularity, initiating skinship like holding hands during events—actions that Third coldly dismisses, making Wan resent Third even more.
Following a major ThirdNine event, Wan gets his hands on an exclusive Nine gift pack. Unable to contain his excitement, he slips away to the company's restricted rooftop to open it. However, Third catches him in the act. Misunderstanding the situation, Third brands him a sasaeng (stalker) who followed Nine backstage and calls security. Panic-stricken, Wan runs through the building and bursts into the actors' dressing room, coming face-to-face with Nine and his manager, who try to restrain him.
As if his fandom drama wasn't enough, Wan faces a severe crisis at home. His mother is drowning in debt, and despite working multiple exhausting part-time jobs, his earnings are nowhere near enough to save her. Seeing his desperation, a friend suggests he audition for an antagonist role in an upcoming series starring ThirdNine, " Deep In Between Us" . Wan is highly reluctant to act alongside his rival, but desperate for the money, he goes to the venue. Instead of entering the audition room, he hesitates outside and starts taking photos. There, a sharp-eyed casting manager notices him; struck by his stunning looks and perfect visual fit for the character, she drags him inside.
The audition room is packed with directors, producers, and the lead duo, Third and Nine. The tension instantly boils over when Third recognises Wan, sparking a fierce, chaotic confrontation that ends with Wan throwing water right in Third's face. While the room is left in shock, the directors and selectors see a spark—Wan's raw intensity makes him the absolute perfect match for the antagonist. The very next day, Wan receives an official casting proposal confirming he got the part.
That's how the story started and it actually keeps getting better.
The relationship between the ML keeps improving, they supported each other so well, without even realising, they've started to like each other.
Third is extremely simple, sounds rude but has a clean heart, he takes care of the people he love, has conscience and a conscious mind. At first when he barely knew Wan he sounded extremely rude, he made fun of Wan and talked bad about him, but still took care of him when he was having a panic attack, he was happy after Wan helped the panicked fan, slowly after learning more about Wan he started interacting with him, and unknowingly got closer to him, he is a person having one personality, he reflected his unhappiness he had, he never hid his feelings like Nine. The more he learnt about Wan the more he got attached, Wan's extremely cute poses made him blush so had that he wasn't even able to hide himself..

IM SAT!
if I could rate this higher than a 10 I would. only the first episode and I’m already blow away. from the acting to the visuals to the story everything about this is top tier. The opening scene having the actors with up coming series was perfect and a great way of showing off the cast. The Chemistry from AUAUSAVE is exceptional PATRYU are literally adorable and I’m so HAPPY to see James back on screen. The audition scene and bathroom scene between THIRD and WAN was perfect and the dog food at the end was like the icing on the cake.DOMUNDI HAS TRULY OUTDONE THEMSELVES ONCE AGAIN.I’m screaming its sooooo good. I’m super excited form the rest of the episode and so glad this is on Saturdays so I can truly enjoy it.

I AM SHOOK TO MY CORE.I AM IN AWE.THIS EPISODE GAGGED ME SO BAD BECAUSE WHAAAT DO YOU MEAN WE GOT NUNEW, THIRD CONFESSION, THIRDWAN KISS AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT THE BOMB THAT RENJITIME HAS BEEN DATING THIS WHOLE TIME. ABSOLUTELY CRAZYYYY (and time my absolute genius i believed in you absolutely no doubts that you recorded nines miserable attempt of framing wan). I have never been in more shock because of a bl episode than this one, it is genuinely amazing and this whole hour didnt have one boring moment, personally it didnt even feel like a whole hour. Save's acting is absolutely phenomenal in this episode and I cant believe how much he has grown(i feel maternal right now).I am so glad that I decided to watch this and cant wait for the next ep.Auausave saving the saturdays once again!!'Was this review helpful to you?
Finally, a Series That Lets Us Fans Experience the Story From Our Perspective
I like this series more than I expected. Finally, a series that lets us fans see things from OUR perspective! 😂 Being a fan is one thing, but imagine actually getting the chance to work alongside your favourite celebrity?! I’m already loving this concept! The story is off to a really interesting start. I like how it puts Wan into a completely unfamiliar world where he suddenly finds himself surrounded by actors he used to admire as a fan. There is already so much potential for funny situations, misunderstandings, romance and of course, plenty of chaos. I especially love the enemies to lovers setup between Wan and Third. Imagine thinking you hate someone, only to slowly realise they might actually be the person you fall for. I’m definitely here for that!
I really missed James after Bed Friend, so I’m glad to see him back. But honestly, what really got me hooked was Auau as Third. He is SO hot and attractive, and his aura is absolutely stunning. He has that cold and confident presence that makes Third immediately stand out. Save as Wan is completely different and so much fun to watch. He is funny, adorable and brings such a lovable energy to the character. Their contrast already works really well together.
The supporting cast also caught my attention, Wan’s friend and his sister. They add a fun younger energy to the story, and I’m looking forward to seeing how their characters develop as the series goes on.
The acting was really good for the first episode. Everyone felt natural in their roles, and the chemistry between the characters is already noticeable. I particularly enjoyed the interactions between Wan and Third because you can already feel that there is something interesting developing between them, even though they are still at the stage of constantly getting on each other’s nerves.
I also enjoyed the music and overall sound of the episode. It fits the light and playful atmosphere of the series without taking away from the scenes, and it helps give the drama that fun romantic feel.
Domundi never disappoints, and 7 episodes in was such a fun start. We have an interesting plot, hot actors, good acting, cute characters and one of my favourite tropes, enemies to lovers. I already have a feeling this one is going to nail it for me.
Imagine working alongside your celebrity crush Nine, only to end up falling for the person you hated at the beginning instead. What a plot! 😂
I’m already hooked after 7 episodes and cannot wait for the next episode!

no pressure no drama.
introthis is one of those intros i never skip. it almost feels like a reality show, especially with the “i’m just a fanboy” part. it’s so good, and i’ve been listening to this song over and over again because the vibe is so entertaining and somehow feels personal.
episodes 1–6
i loved episodes 1–6 so much that i genuinely couldn’t wait for the next saturday. i was literally counting the days. every episode left me with new questions, hidden details to overanalyze, and theories that somehow still managed to get proven wrong by the next episode. i love all the tricks they used to keep us guessing.
the series also does a great job of showing different sides of the thai entertainment industry. one of the biggest shocks for me was finding out that time was renji’s lover and was also the mastermind behind recording the swimming pool scene. and then there’s nine and north’s relationship. idk if they’re genuinely lovers or if they’re both just using each other, but something about their dynamic makes me suspicious.
also, the way someone is constantly watching or recording almost every scene says so much about how little privacy these actors seem to have. there’s always someone watching, and it makes you question how much of their lives is actually private.
episode 7
episode 7 was still really good for me because we finally got to see that renji and north are brothers and how they view everything as a playground. 😭
and wan is SO PRETTY. i genuinely couldn’t write this review without talking about how beautiful he is. but what i love even more is how comfortable third seems around him. seeing him smile genuinely and act so naturally in front of wan is honestly heartwarming.
wan’s best friend and sister are another highlight for me. they’re so funny, and i love them so much.
episode 8
now, i don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but their relationship felt a little off to me in this episode. and that’s purely my personal opinion. i understand that lovers can act like puppies around each other, but when third did it, something felt off for me. also wan acting like a cat , acting overly cute. specially in their first date.( hide and seek part in Ayutthaya )
as for the nc scene, i really enjoyed it, and it was definitely spicy, but i felt like the emotional depth was missing. and i want to make it clear that this isn’t the actors’ fault. i genuinely love nc scenes that carry deep emotions, intimacy, and a sense of connection between the characters rather than focusing only on the physical tension.
overall, apart from those few personal criticisms, this series is a solid 10/10 for me. the plot, the mystery, the constant twists, and all the little details that keep us theorizing make it such an entertaining watch. i love a series that makes me question everything and keeps proving my theories wrong.

Deconstructing Narcissistic Abuse - Thai BL Style
⚠️ SPOILER WARNING: Contains spoilers for character dynamics, backstories, and recent plot developments.** Will adjust accordingly as the series works through it's final third.
☆☆☆
Mr. Fanboy presents a chaotic mix of slapstick humor, showbiz commentary, and thai BL romance, but behind the pretty faces, Domundi has brought out a sharp and jagged knife.
This is a study in narcissistic and emotional abuse, control, and the messy reality of breaking free from it.
☆ The Anatomy of a Parasite
When you look at Nine’s behavior, it is the exact, textbook blueprint of how abuse starts. It always begins with emotional control, and if left unchecked, it blossoms into a full blown biohazard, spreading into other areas of your life.
I like to imagine self worth as a river; an ecosystem of give and take. But whenever that river runs dry (for whatever tragic backstory reason the writers are going to feed us later for Nine), that empty riverbed becomes a vacuum. To sustain the ego, it has to feed on other poor buggars like you and me.
They are the real world vampires, zombies, or parasitic lore of your choice. Pick whichever creature is native to your region and imagine that.
Success is actually a great mirror for your social circle. The people who actually care about you will be genuinely happy when you win. If they aren't? Good riddance 👋
For Nine, someone else succeeding cooks him alive because he treats it as a direct, personal theft of his survival. Connections to him aren't partnerships, they're chess pieces.
In school, Third was outperforming him. Nine lacks the emotional maturity, spine, or internal resources to work harder, so his only option to restore his fragile ego is to annihilate the person threatening it.
Abusers like Nine don't attack openly from the front gates. They infiltrate your perfectly beautiful mind castle and set up camp as an invited guest, making it much easier for you to internalize their actions as your own fault later.
Nine keeps Third shackled as his "best friend" precisely so he has an all access pass to Third's vulnerabilities, routines, and blind spots. Intimacy is a camouflage. You are useful only as long as you stay trailing at least 3 paces behind.
☆ The Toxic POS Handbook
When Nine’s ego gets so much as a scratch, his manipulation tactics proceed as follows:
1. Sabotage
Whether it's framing Third for cheating in school or trying to ruin Wan now, Nine’s instinct is pure destruction. He rigs the entire game so he never has to look at his own hollow mediocrity.
Nine having a full blown panic attack when the producer screamed in his face and reminded him that he was disposable is an example of this. The producer was rightfully angry at being lied to and reminded Nine not to use his trauma as a weapon. Nine slapped him. This lead to an explosive moment of rage where for once, Nine looked genuinely distraught. Whether or not he has a trauma remains to be seen, but what we as the audience saw, was his thoughts not focused on any abuse, but on his insecurity and fear of being replaced. The attack on his ego.
2. DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) An actual manipulation tactic taught to me by a therapist.
The worst part of the flashback wasn't the framing. It was Nine playing the tragic victim afterward. He twisted reality so thoroughly that he convinced himself, and successfully Third, that his malice was justified, because Third had more of a chance than he did thanks to his mother. No self awareness, no empathy, no remorse, only a vacuum of how much it's all about him and how he's hurting.
He reversed the roles so aggressively that Third was left running after him, carrying the guilt for a crime Nine committed.
3. Enter Wan: The Uncontrollable Variable 🧝
When Wan was just a harmless fanboy worshipping from a stool in the back, Nine didn't give a damn. In fact, Nine created Wan's fanboy status. He knows Wan's account. He follows social media trends. He oversees everything that has his name on it, and how it benefits him, even if it's negative, as seen in ep. 1. Wan sat comfortably as a harmless little minion at the bottom of Nine's mental food chain.
When I look at Wan, I see a fluffy little loppy ear bunbun munching on his dandelion dreams but I think Nine might be imagining the rabbits from Monty Python 🤣 (consider that mental image officially shared with you all, you're welcome ☕️🌼).
The moment Wan begins to rise, gaining recognition and an emotional tether to Third (Nine's main food source) Nine's control mechanism starts cracking its little cogs. Wan doesn't play Nine's toxic little games, doesn't cower, and challenged him right to his face 🤭
And more dangerously, Wan offers Third a mirror reflecting healthy, actual affection, threatening to snap the trauma bond that has kept Third hooked for years.
When abusers can't control you, they will try to control how others see you. The moment Wan glimmered ever so slightly brighter than he was supposed to, Nine was at Third's front door having dinner with his biggest chess piece, Third's Mother, to remind and enforce the lie that he is control of Third, and Third has no agency of his own.
E.g Nine threatened to drown Wan, manipulates how others view and treat him, uses Third's tense dynanic with his mother against him.
☆ Third's POV: Trapped in the Middle
Third doesn't necessarily want to protect Nine. He’s trying to direct the flow of events because he knows his mother will override him and his choices anyway.
(It has been shown she has immense control over his decisions. How deeply this runs, is yet to be explored)
He’s conditioned to do what he’s told because what he wants has probably never mattered a day in his life. So he'll give Nine whatever he wants, no matter how evil the methods, just to keep his mother out of his hair. Third is trapped between two toxic powers who have total control of his life.
We've have seen him cope by shoving down all of his resentment, and it's been leaking out here and there in his mood swings.
BUTT! Now, along comes sweet, innocent Wan, who exists entirely outside of Third's personal hell. And in order to reach him, Third has to break his own cycle. And that's really hard.
Because by deleting that video, Third actively chose not to protect Wan. And there Wan was, wide eyed and gentle like a fluffy little bunny, asking him about his feelings, while Third was hit with the realization of who he had just chosen to protect instead.
Domundi is getting seriously serious with the abuse logic here. You have to get utterly, bone deep tired of your own bullshit before you finally make a move. It takes years because it's so deeply engrained in your 'normal' that every cell in your body is programmed to follow those habits built by your environment.
Something devastating will probably have to happen to Wan in order for Third to finally make a run for it. He’s going to have to WANT to fight for him, because right now he's hovering on the sidelines. That love needs to be stronger than his baseline survival instinct.
☆ My Endgame Guess & Chaotic Sideplots yet to be revealed .....
Underneath all of the cruelty and manipulation is absolute terror. Nine is just a scared little boy terrified of being exposed as an ordinary, flawed failure. When an abuser realizes they are losing their grip, they don't self reflect. They double down, bare their fangs, and try to burn the entire forest to the ground so their food source can't walk away easily.
Nine is absolutely not finished. He will just cast a bigger net next time because he's been shown over and over, by Third himself, that he will not hold him accountable. His grip is still tight and he is still in control.
☆☆☆
Meanwhile, those delightful little scamps, Renji and Time have their own plan 🐈🐈⬛ I don't think they really care about anyone else except each other, and they're about to bribe the producer with whatever secret stash of ammunition they've been hoarding 😂. And it's not hard to make copies of digital files 🤷♀️ but so far, I don't think there's enough of any kind of bond for them to want to protect Wan. I think they are fully self serving right now. There is still time for their intentions to change but that Renji went to his brother, to threaten and bribe with the footage, and not his own management who is now being threatened with legal action, is enough for me. Renji and Time currently, are working for their own interests and Wan took Time's role, which is a conflict of interest right now.
☆☆☆
Celebrity power dynamics run on narcissism and self interest. That is a brutal truth of the business. Of course, not everyone is an abuser and there are genuine artists out there but Domundi is doing a very good satrical job of showcasing this is in a very Thai BL manner.

Yummy rivalry, tensions and hidden love ...Auau-Save's chemistry is tantalising!
I have been waiting for this one since the trailer came out...the plot sounded really interesting, the sparring looked yummy! After episode 8, I'm upping the score to 9Ep 8 - This has to be one of the most beautifully done love-making scene in a BL in a long long time.... they have handled this moment so beautifully...the initial shock from Wan when Third makes him grab 'there' and proceeds to undress, the doubt and confusion in Third's expressions when Wan initially looks away, as to whether he rushed it and then finally when Wan also starts to undress that satisfied smile on Third's face....all of it...and I love, love this shy-coyness from Wan...doesn't seem even one bit overdone or put-on...this episode has me swooning, panting and melted, all at once..beyond beautiful!
So damn impressed with this show now..the entire caste is doing a really good job, Save as the clueless greenhorn who is starting to learnt the ways of the entertainment world, Auau as t he unwilling celebrity who hates the glitz world, and James as the shining outside-corrosive inside celebrity, the scheming, shamelessly manipulative show-biz players...all of them are doing an almost a perfect job
Auau and Save are serving some really delish love-attraction-tensions....James is serving one of the best cases of 'bitch personified' ....the tension is so high in this show right now that the snap, when it comes, will be like a thunderous clap, and I can't wait for it
Verdict: Yes, Watch

All of my Love and Respect!
This show really puts so much into perspective, and I'm honestly so grateful for it.I've been hoping someone would create an idol drama that truly explores the struggles idols, artists, and everyone behind the scenes go through. Not just the fame and success, but the pressure, sacrifices, expectations, and challenges that come with it. I hope it helps people become a little more understanding, a little less judgmental, and more appreciative of these incredibly hardworking individuals.
I have so much respect for this industry. It cannot be easy.
In a way, it reminds me of my own journey as a surgical technologist in the operating room. Obviously, they're very different professions, but most people will never truly understand what happens behind those OR doors or the struggles we face every day. I've experienced so many highs and lows. It's definitely a love/hate relationship! We're constantly learning, adapting, overcoming obstacles, and pushing ourselves to do better.
And I imagine that, in many ways, artists experience something similar, except they're doing it all while the world is watching.
I truly hope things can get better for our artists. They deserve kindness, understanding, and the freedom to be human.
I love and adore them all so much! I can't imagine living under that kind of spotlight.
And I have to say, I absolutely LOVE AuAuSave and the entire cast! They're doing such an amazing job bringing this story to life. I'm genuinely so happy for them and incredibly proud of everything they're accomplishing. I hope they know how loved and appreciated they are, and I wish each and every one of them nothing but happiness, success, and the very best in everything they do!
Nothing but love, admiration, and respect! 💜

A Delicious Treat -- All Ingredients Spot-on. Dig in!
This is my first year of BL add*ction -- and this is my first equal (with the truly romantic and moving 'Until We Meet Again') favorite BL series in the dozens I've binged . The wait between episodes is awful -- Maybe I should just sleep till the next episode? The two leads are delicious eye candy, (one "Oh the face"; and one "Oh the body") So are the other couples and even the villain is totally gorgeous. And the chemistry between the leads sizzles.
The storyline makes sense, and is interesting and engaging, the motivations are believable and there are some unexpected twists to keep us on our toes.
(My only negative -- the over-the-top transgender and 'bitchy drama queen' characters -- but this is the BLVerse after all -- so it's a very minor annoyance.)
