A love story told in the best way
This show restored my faith in 15-20 minute long Korean BLs. They didn't drag out scenes unnecessarily, they didn't make us wait for anything and best of all the MCs had really awesome chemistry which made their PDA seem so natural. They need to make this dating sim game IRL so we can keep reliving the romance of Ki Tae and Lee Wan.If you're looking for pure fluff to cleanse your palette of all the toxic BLs you've watched lately, this is for you. If you are fan of To My Star and Semantic Error and are suffering withdrawal symptoms from those shows being over, this is definitely for you. I cannot recommend this show enough, it's a good time all through especially if you've been a victim of unrequited love.
It's so good that It doesn't need a season 2, we just need to the actors paired up again in another BL. I hope they don't run away from BLs once their careers kick off big time after this.

Such cute chemistry and soft fluffy vibes.
I was so impressed by this BL! The chemistry between the actors was so good, i loved the goofy little scenes of the just hanging around each other!!! It made the relationship feel so real and I just love seeing the dynamic of the two characters in play. The fact that I wanted more of them just hanging around being themselves is a sign I loved the couple. There are no overly dramatic scenes that make me roll my eyes or lines that are wayyy too corny and even though it did have the overly produced vibe to it that a lot of BL has, I didn't mind it so much since I liked the story.
Also I think the way Ki Tae expressed his anxiety was actually quite a heartfelt scene. The emotional beats did hit their mark with this show since I think there were just the right amount, balanced out with the more lighthearted stuff.
Overall I think the acting and chemistry carried the show with the foundation of the circumstances of the plot.

best kbl of the year so far
such a great series, definitely the best kbl of the year! the story is somewhat simple but it was very well done and filled out by the great chemistry that our leads have. sometimes its difficult to believe some pairings are into each other but i could actually believe they were into each other and wanted to be together.solid acting from the cast especially lee seung gyu (ki tae). i could feel that he was legitimately worried and anxious about lee wan disappearing again. i found it very realistic that he would have this unspoken anxiety about lee wan leaving because of what happened before.
i also want to commend them for how they focused they were with the telling of the story. they focus on the relationship between our leads and don't really waste time showing scenes in which they aren't there. a lot of other shows with short run times still struggle with this. there isn't a lot of miscommunication (besides the obvious one) and the characters are pretty forward with each other which i loved.
watching the dating sim play at the end was so cute i loved that we got to see it! overall cant recommend this drama enough.

Cute couple but a little short
This BL has a bubbly feel to it, and all the characters add to this feeling. All actors were a joy to watch which made this drama flow very well. I do think that 15 minute episodes is too short for the story, especially with this cute pairing. I would have liked the episodes to be more around 20 minutes at least and for the first two episodes to focus deeply on the school era. a longer focus would have made the impact of the two being apart and then meeting again bigger. There are two kissing scenes and they are both good. While the drama is short, the skinship is plentiful and feels natural. Overall, this is a rather calm and simple drama with no heavy conflicts or fights. Easy to watch in one or two days.

Essentially perfect.
No time wasted on side characters, no unnecessary drama, no sexual identity crises - just a cute love story with the right amount of fluff and plot.Yes it's short - but considering that, they chose just the right things to leave out and the right things to leave in. The two leads are absolutely adorable together and have great chemistry. Rewatch level is off the charts because it's so short and every episode has great content between the leads that you will want to experience again. It's basically a perfect little bite sized BL!

Short, Simple and Cuteness overload.
This BL really exceeded my expectations. I was not really looking forward to it but after I watched it I couldn't have enough of it. The plot is really simple and it is not really anything special. Friends who wanted to be more than friends got split apart because of a misunderstanding. A tale as old as time. But it handles the basicness so nicely. First of all I love how the intentions of both the leads are shown from the start and the misunderstanding got cleared up pretty quicky. I also loved how they became a couple quickly and we did not need to wait until the end of the episode. I also loved how they end up together at the end. I don't like long distance relationship just after they have got together again. And finally the one thing that I will sing praises for is the kissing. They actually kiss like real people and didn't half-ass it or shy away from it. Most KBL are pretty infamous for their dead fish kiss but this one served and left no crumbs. I also loved how they acted like a real couple that are dating. They do not shy away at the slightest touch or are coy with each other even if it is just the two of them. Hell they even do it outside. I also loved the casual romantic gestures like sleeping on the lap, hugging and a kiss on the cheeks. So I am very amazed. The actors did very well. They were so adorable and had a lot of chemistry. Really amazing. A must watch if you want to watch something cute and simple and won't take so much time. Was this review helpful to you?
Best bl of 2023 so far
One of the best bl series and romance series overall I've ever seen. This series is what happens when they cast actors who really know how to act and the result is incredible. The chemistry was off the charts and im now oficially in love with ki-tae's character, his playfullness and casual affection is so refreshing to see on screen. I will not get over having finished it, please if you see it do it legally to support it.Was this review helpful to you?

I wasn't very into it at first but satisfied my expectations by the end
I would say, in the first few episodes i wasn't very fond of how it's going but by the last 2-3 episodes it got so much better to a point i was screaming in my pillow because of how cute they were![spoiler alert]
So,
I was not very into it at first but soon i fell in love. i loved the lil teasing shin ki-tae does in the first few episodes and lee wan's reaction is priceless lol. later in the episodes i felt that ki-tae's confession was a lil rushed and felt out of nowhere but they made it feel right afterwards.
For me the best part of the series was after his confession till the very end. it was fun to see ki-tae's efforts to get wan to say yes to him it's really cute. They were so adorable and i also loved the way the story went. ki-tae's separation anxiety was portrayed very well and wan's awkward behaviour was also acted out very well so hats off to the cast. the supporting roles were just as good too.
This might be a lil weird but i HAD to mention the kiss separately. IT WAS PERFECTTT!! I'm not a huge fan of drunk kisses but i swear it was so smooth we could feel the need and longing threw the screen. It was short yet tender.
overall it was very worth using my precious vacation days watching it and was short yet sweet and perfect for a quick rewatch. 9/10 from me <33

My new favorite
This was the sweetest, most heartfelt BL I've watched thus far. Although it only has 8 episodes, and each episode is only about 15 minutes long, it was enough. I don't think making it longer would have made it better. The script had everything it needed in order to tell the story well. The acting itself, the movements, the emotions, the dialogue, all seemed genuine. The mini-game at the end of each episode helped to show the background of the characters and assisted with story progression, while adding a fun element and keeping the show from taking itself too seriously. The story centers around Lee Wan, who confessed his feelings to his best friend, Shin Ki Tae, directly after their high school graduation. After the confession, Wan runs away without giving Ki Tae time to process the confession. Lee Wan completely removes himself from Ki Tae's life, leaving Ki Tae searching for him for the next 7 years. Upon reencountering Lee Wan, Ki Tae wastes little time working his way back into Wan's life, leaving Wan to make decisions that will affect whether or not they have a future together.
This drama helps to raise the bar for K-BLs, and for BLs in general. With a total run time of approximately 2 hours, I literally doubled my watch-time by rewatching each episode at least once as it aired. It was well thought out, well written, well directed, well edited, and well acted. (Too much? Am I gushing?? LOL.) I highly recommend this series.

Short n sweet ;)
This series is sooo short, it's among the shortest dramas I've watched! This is also one of my main complaints: I wish this series was longer :(
But overall, I liked the format of the series, although the game aspect of looking back at their past felt a bit gimmicky to me and I wish that they'd showed more of their relationship in the past as it truly was because it also made me a bit confused.
Anywho, the production really made good use of the limited amount of time they had making the series have a good balanced ending but with a bit more time I know they could've gotten a bit more potential out of it.
I still liked the series because the acting was excellent and the colours of the series were super pretty.
