Let’s be real- it wasn’t that good.
If you’re looking for a short love story with no deep meaning, this is the one for you. Things went WAY too fast. It was cute, but as someone who likes to thing about the meanings of what I’m watching, this had no real story.The actors were cute together, but it didn’t feel real. Watching this, it felt like one of those rip off reality TV series where the director is quite obviously telling them how to act.
I did like the idea of the Love Mate. I think the story was the thing that tied this show really together. How they met was cute, and I can totally see how people really enjoyed this.

Adorably sweet!
I was very pleasantly surprised by this drama! I picked it up without knowing much about it, just looking for something short and cute, and that was exactly what I found!The chemistry portrayed is incredible, from friends to crushes to boyfriends, it felt real all the way through. The pacing of the story was laid out skillfully, it never once felt too rushed or like it dragged on. Plot points have purpose and come back around, and the side characters get a decent amount of screentime as well as supporting characters!
The themes are explored and are given time to breathe, which is impressive given that this is such a short series. The actors did a beautiful job, and the production felt just right.
I loved that Gi Tae's feelings are explored as well as Lee Wan's, the episode that explored Gi Tae's fear of Lee Wan disappearing again was probably my favorite episode.
I think occasionally, things in the story can be a touch on the nose, but I don't see that as a negative, especially since it's not at all to an irritating degree.
I suppose my only one silly "gripe" (moreso just a funny thought; I understand the framing of the scene probably took precedent over the logic, which is fine since it's so minor) is how Lee Wan was still taking the couch even a year after living together with Gi Tae. Still, the scene, like the drama as a whole, was so incredibly cute that it made up for any fault I could possibly find for it.
Definitely somewhere in my top favorite BLs!

Very cute!
I enjoyed this drama so much! I watched it in one go. A very cute story about fear, determination and a lot of love.I really liked the dating simulations at the end of each episode.
The visuals and music were very good.
All actors did a great job. Both leads were great, their dynamics and chemistry were amazing! The kisses were good.
A real must watch, you won't regret it.
I will definatly watch it again in the future.

It is beyond me, how they managed to make this story with only 15 minutes episodes? I guess this is prime example of how well a story can work even with such a limited runtime if the writing and directing is good. Lots of series with over 10 episodes and 45 minutes don't show the quality and depth this one managed to deliver.We have two high school friends, who had to part ways as the mc's family moved out of town right after his graduation. As a hopeless, last ditch effort the mc uses their last talk with his best friend to tell him that he likes him. The best friend misunderstands at first, and says that he likes him too so mc clarifies that he means romantically and impulsively kisses him. Seeing his friend's bewildered reaction he apologizes and runs away - quite literally as afterwards the friend is unable to reach him ever again.
After, I believe it was seven? years, due to pure random luck the mc runs into him again at a job interview. MC is obviously shaken by the most awkward reunion and even worse, his old friends seems to pick on him at work as he keeps pestering him. Except, when he confronts him about it, the friend confesses his feelings to him and tells him that he actually tried looking for him all these years..
I liked that the characters' reactions were believable and they talked out their past grievences and actively discussed what they want from each other. At the end of every episode there are cute segment of the supposed game they are working on together - but it is essentially flashbacks about the mc and his friend from when they were in school together. These snippets reveal a lot about their relationship in school and makes you understand why they liked each other and why mc had some hopes that their feelings might be mutual. I really loved the actors chemistry and that consent was clear all along. The directors clearly did a really great job and their kisses were phenomenal.

Cutest drama
I really really really liked this drama a lot it is so cute and sweet omg actors are cute and amazing at acting wow script was so neat and well done, it really gave me a touch of Korean series but only disappointing is only less than 20 mins if it had 1hr duration each episode awesome it was and thinking how the stories could be scripted in every details with more spicy things but anyway although it was short drama I didn’t feel it is less details each episode was more detailed and well explained and gave me touch of school memories too all the best to the team I hope they can make such dramas everyone do watch this drama it’s cute and I recommend itWas this review helpful to you?

The two main characters had really could chemistry. And the whole team shitting on the CEO of the company was funny.
The whole game into a BL concept was also really cute. Both actors also looked like deer in the headlights in the BEST way possible.
Overall 9.5/10. Very cute and light.

Mad cuteness aggression from all angles
This was too cute I malfunctioned more than a couple times. AHHHHHH I love a reencounter.Acting:
So good I don’t have much of anything to say critique-wise. They did a great job, no notes just praise and gratitude. Lee Seung Gyu had me giggling, who gave him the permission to use that face card. And Lee Jong Hyuk was such a cutie. Good banter too all around vibes.
Writing:
Despite it being so darn short, it didn’t feel overly rushed and there was enough depth to give the story a sense of meaning without anything grand. I’m a bit of a sucker for a good reencounter story though so… Overall well written I enjoyed it even if it could have been even better with more time and longer conflict.
Chemistry/Romance/Kissing:
The chemistry was clearly present, they did such a good job story and acting-wise. It obviously works as a romance. Kissing was cute, realistic/believable, and was executed in a way that made me believe that the characters wanted to kiss and were comfortable with each other.
Music/SFX:
Still can’t escape the use of songs with corny lyrics in these darn K/J/T Dramas… I’ll get used to it one day maybe idk. Other than that music was good and SFX was solid, nothing jarring.
This was so cute I had to pause to let out some cuteness aggression multiple times. I’ll take 50 more please and thank youuu!

Wholesome BL Reset
Loved the lack of needless drama where they break up or fight with no communication over anything. Instead, the characters made decisions we didn’t have to wait a half season to see the result of which allowed to actually see their relationship develop and blossom. They were super cute and sweet. I loved the incorporation of the flashbacks and how it tied in with the present day storyline.Was this review helpful to you?
Most loved drama
Love drama the most.....should make manga on it... I'll binge read that manga...I love the plot,cast and whole situations of drama....they must make bl manga out....One of the strongest good points about this show was the well paced and smart storytelling. Just enough opening ambiguity about the main leads relationship in the past and the present was enough to set up a solid opening stage for the rest of this story to unfold. And from that point, it was a full fluff fest with just a tiny bit of angst so we don’t get diabetes. The angst you can enjoy, because you know it's just a tiny momentary feeling that will end well.I am pretty sure we all fell in love with Gi Tae. It’s amazing to see a character who is confident, but not overbearing. He truly radiates positive energy and presents a perfect level of playful teasing.

MY TOP KOREAN BL DRAMA!
I have forgotten how many times I have rewatched this bl.Can't believe how I managed to wait weeks to watch eps when it was airing.
ACTING, EMOTIONS, PRODUCTION. Everything Top Notch!!
This bl is my comfort zone forever.
PS : Can we please bring back these two leads together for more bl projects, I absolutely love their Chemistry 😭

Fantastic chemistry of two actors
This really was an enjoyable series to watch. I think if you're going to watch it, watch the movie version that's two hours long as opposed to the 8 fifteen minute episodes. It's much more enjoyable without the intermission breaks to start each new episode.Seung Gyu & Jong Hyuk were absolutely made to play these two parts together. They were so perfectly natural with each other, it made it so enjoyable to watch them blend there two acting abilities to make one great relationship.
Once scene in the later episodes showed an emotional and so believable performance by Seung Gyu, it would be difficult to have dry eyes after watching it.
Definitely a movie to watch over again, just a really good "real feel" movie!!!

Deus nos abandonou quando fez os episódios terem 15min de duração.juro que coisa linda, a construção do relacionamento dos personagens enquanto acompanhamos a jornada individual de cada um foi tão bom de se assistir. a história é cativante e toda jornada do kitae faz a gente ficar preso no bl. Os atores foram incríveis no papel com uma química absurda e uma atuação sensacional. As histórias do pós credito foi uma sacada genial também muito divertida de se ver. espero poder ver eles atuando juntos em um futuro breve.
