Very Much Worth the Watch
This story starts out in the Joseon era and moves to modern day with a little back and forth. Not one episode dragged. Lots of twists, laughs and beautiful love. Bae In-Hyuk, as usual does not disappoint. If anything, it is the best acting I have seen from him. Superb. Lee SeYoung is so convincing and cute. All of the support cast was extremely fantastic! My only very minor complaint would be I wanted see more for them at the end. It was easy to fall in love with them as a couple. The older adult cast was riveting in both eras. I really enjoyed the OST for this one as well. Was this review helpful to you?

This is fantasy drama with deep means
I feel really bad for "historical park lady ( male lead step mother )".Because "her whole life she" ( male lead step mother ) was teach to be a "good wife " who gain and be beneficial for to the family she will be married by "her own family". And the society peoples as always even since historical time no good always being peoples down who is not doing well "base on society standards". She ( male lead step mother ) from her marriage family to her own family even society everyone treat her so bad.
Her father-in-law ( grandpa ) who abused her physically and mentally for not forcing his grandsons take government exams.
And i strongly believe base on her actions she ( male lead step mother ) doesn't wanted to be married into park family, she ( male lead step mother ) was forced to be married into park family so her ( male lead step mother ) family could gain something. She ( male lead step mother ) family is selfish even to marry they daughter as 2nd wife of the family.
So she ( male lead step mother ) marriage his step son ( male lead ) to the female lead family.
Base of so many reasons
1. No good family or wellbeing family will marry into park family because they don't have any government job.
2. Female lead family is high post government family.
3. Female lead was very aged women base on society so not many wellbeing familys will marry her. So she is easy target for park family.
4. Also the rumours FOR the male lead is ugly it was spread by park family because they rather want to be recognised as so called ugly family then not being capable even to have government job ( word ugly distance the government job part really for them also )
( THIS IS MY IMAGINE THAT'S ALL I THOUGHT WHILE WATCHING THE DRAMA )
And park family grandpa was worst he killed his son's 1st wife out of greadiness. Even though they show grandpa killed 1st wife in modern era they don't show in how he did in historical era. But grandpa was worst person for the family.
In historical era "park lady ( male lead step mother )" totally break down from mentally and went crazy enough after being abused for years. She committed a crime.
But in modern era things were little different because this time as women she ( male lead step mother ) have some power. She even trying to make sure male lead don't get hurt after knowing the trust that she didn't kill his mother it was his own grandpa.
And after female lead went back to her historical era she even made sure by putting her life at risk standing front of king. So no women for now died because of loyel wife government job.
Peoples might don't know but
Government jobs in Asian family whole a lot worth of happiness. Yes government job even since historical time can give most of happiness from family to society that no job can give you by default.

Perfect mix of modern and costume
I loved this! I put off watching it for so long because of the picture! I had just watched Bae In Hyk in Our Universe and adored him so watched Park's Marriage Contract, and I'm so glad I did. Each character was well played and believable. The leads had amazing chemistry. I don't normally watch any kind of "fantasy/time travel" shows, but this was so well done. I just loved it and gave it 10/10.Was this review helpful to you?
Intriguing lesson on karma and reincarnation
This is one of the series I watched that I do not remember much of because the content was too generic. However, I remember the karma lesson and one important thing about reincarnation - you are NOT the same person and one edition of "you" has nothing to do with the other edition of "you"
So when you fall in love with someone, you are falling with THAT edition of them. Park traveled in time and she picked to pair with the guy from 21st century.

All the actors were awesome and the story was perfecto!
This is one series I was sad only had 12 episodes. Usually I love 12 (and not 16) but this one I would have liked 16!

Emotional roller-coaster
It was really emotional in some parts. The cast was amazing,as always and never dissappointed in K dramas. Overall 9.5 from 10, only because there was some part I didn’t understand and it did not connect with the story.Beautiful acting, beautiful emotions with trace of comedy and funny part and amazing chemistry between the leaders. I love this drama even though the comments are not so great, but it is okay to have own opinions.
I know it is hard to believe in magic, SciFi and some “other” world, but if you believe in unbelievable, everything can happen in our lives.
That’s why my title is Emotional rolloer-coaster. When you. Pay attention really hard in this drama, you can put yourself in the story.

Strong Female Character..
The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract is a great rom-com that focuses on a strong female character with a sense of integrity and independence. Regardless that her character is from the Joseon period, Lee Se Young, the actress who portrays Park Yeon Woo is a beautiful way.I have been enjoying watching this show immensely. Some shows have some dead moments, (or just really quirky parts,) but this show seems to have written a cute story with an interesting plot. Don't miss this Drama , its just 12epi u will enjoy .

Saeguk to modern day Korea packed with comedy, romance, mystery and a contract marriage
As Lee se young debuts with her first titular role all eyes were on her to see her performance, and boy did she not disappoint. The drama pace has been brisk avoiding filler scenes so every scene is important and contributes to the story plot line. There has been comedy, first love troupe, fake marriage troupe, time travel troupe, mystery and adapting to a new world and the drama has delivered on everything and more. Lee se young beauty and acting has shined beautifully on our screen and so has Bae in hyuk matching her perfectly while also letting her shine. It’s no wonder she is the queen of Saeguk. Her new found freedom will be one of the things to look out for in the upcoming episodes to see how she navigates this new world while staying true to herself and realizing her potentials that had to be suppressed in Joseon. Was this review helpful to you?

A Time Slip Romance- A Hit or Miss
Time travel romances seem to be in vogue these days. Starting with “Perfect Marriage Revenge” and “Story of Kunning Palace”, time slip love stories are creating a lot of buzz in both South Korea and China. They are setting a new trend in the fantasy genre and rightly so. MBC’s latest historical “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” joins the ranks, portraying a somber yet heartening tale of lost love and reconciliation. Adapted from the web novel “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” (열녀박씨 계약결혼뎐) written by Kim Neo Ul (김너울) and illustrated by B, the show stars Lee Se Young & Bae In Hyuk in lead roles. The show paints a not-so pretty picture of a strong minded woman striving to achieve her goals, while going against the Confucian ideals in the Josean society. Pilot episodes do a decent job of setting the premise and introducing the characters while keeping their personal agenda hidden. The melodrama will most likely proceed with lots of confrontations in the upcoming episodes as we learn about the protagonists and the ensuing battles they will be embroiled in.Read the complete article here-

Fated by Time ! Can love can survive two Centuries?
The Story of Park's Marriage Contract is a true standout, blending historical charm with modern- day stakes in a way that feels both fresh and deeply emotional. Here is why it earns such a glowing review:
A Powerhouse Performance: As you
mentioned, Lee Se-young is incredible. She carries the show with a perfect balance of "fish-out-of-water" comedy and heartbreaking vulnerability. Her ability to portray a woman fighting for her agency in two different eras is what makes the story so grounding.
•Compelling Storytelling: The plot isn't just a simple romance; it's a fast-paced mystery regarding fate and reincarnation. The way the past and present timelines intertwine keeps you hooked, making every episode feel
essential.
Deeply Touching Themes: For any viewer who appreciates a story with soul, this drama delivers. It tackles grief and second chances with great sensitivity.
The emotional payoff is high because you truly root for the characters to break the cycle of their tragic destiny.
•Visuals and Chemistry: The cinematography is beautiful, and the spark between the leads turns a standard "contract marriage" trope into something genuinely moving and sincere. It's a must-watch for anyone who wants a story that is as meaningful as it is entertaining.

Prima bene poi male
In verità all'inizio mi stava piacendo assai, ero molto coinvolta nella storia. Was this review helpful to you?

A História do Contrato de Casamento de Park começa muito bem. Comecei a assistir despretensiosamente, sem muitas expectativas e simplesmente me apaixonei.
