THIS IS MY FAVOURITE EPISODE SO FAR ♡ (Episode 8)

Everything about this series is just Amazing!! The acting, Music, OSTs, Filmography, Cinematography, Colour tones, Costumes, Makeup and you call whatever it is.. everything is next level. I haven't seen this level of production in another Thai BL to be honest. I wish TBNW to win all those awards out there, the whole crew deserves that.

Kudos to BossNoeul for their outstanding performance, both of them has developed their acting skills so much despite this being their second series. The way they conveyed the feelings through expression is the best, sometimes they didn't have to cry to make me feel the same sadness so that I ended up crying even when they didn't. They outperformed themselves in the NCs as well, it's always sensual to watch, I feel like I am intruding their personal moments.

I feel like this series is so so underrated! I hope more people will find this beautiful series and enjoy it. 🫶

Confusion at its Finest

The Boy Next World was honestly, confusing to me at first. But I think that's what made me love it even more. We are given the premise of a boy who was able to travel to a different body, claiming he's from a parallel world. However, it is in fact—a lie?!

There is such depth in the plot that I had to scratch my first review. First of all, I would like to address the allegations on how this series "sucked," "lost its plot," or "trash." While many have their different opinions, I disagree with the harsh statements.

It is a series that tackles delusions, and the failure to confess your feelings. Its complexity might have made some of the viewers uncomfortable and disliked it, but rather, I found it quite interesting. The way Cir was a character that was not one-dimensional really added depth to it. He was someone who could get angry, sweet, and sad. The reveal in the end at how he was a coward really put the icing on the cake. It just shows how big of an impact someone could be in your life that you can go so far in admiring them. His reasons, well, might be "psychotic," and I quote from Cir himself, Phu disagreed with His statement. This assurance from Phu made Cir breathe a release of fresh air. Why? Because Phu was able to comprehend and understand what he was doing. When Cir found his light, his beacon, the only way he could express it was to protect him and admire him from afar and not get too close due to him being scared of what will happen when he gets close to Phu.

But at what moment did the fear of him getting close to Phu, disappear? When he was about to die.

The hospital scene turned the gears inside Cir. He saw it as an opportunity to be able to put on a facade in front of Phu as someone who is his lover in a parallel world. This was the narrative Cir has written, but unbeknownst to him, it is reality. While it is a narrative, it overlapped with the reality of the parallel worlds. Phu even believed in the end that the Cir after the 2nd car accident was not the Cir that he loved. Why? Because the parallel world does exist! It overlapped!

Why are people saying it was a wasted execution? Because it's confusion at its finest.

I love how this series transformed an existing idea, parallel worlds, and made it into something unique that TBNW has. It keeps the viewers at the edge of their seats and also makes them question whether the parallel worlds are existent or not. But it is! It's long been hinted that there is an actual parallel world, and in every world, Phu and Cir are already destined to meet and interact, but what's the catch? Every parallel world so far will end in tragedy. But the series' world defied those odds, creating the first successful world where they both got to live their happily ever after.

There are a lot of things I haven't mentioned to make it not have that much spoiler.

To conclude, this series is one that did not disappoint me at all. The way they were able to weave the storylines and make me confused was such a fun journey. Love truly knows no boundary, literally, because even love—finds you even in parallel worlds.

BOSSNOEUL NEED BETTER SCRIPTS ESPECIALLY NOEUL ?‍♀️?

Mame needs help honestly but I doubt if she would accept it. The story was going well but fell off especially at the last episode,It felt too rushed. Boss and Noeul are very good but Mame's writing is the problem

As much as I love seeing Boss and Noeul act together
I need to see BossNoeul act something outside Mame's Stories especially Noeul.

I need to see Noeul act something outside Mame's script desperately
The problem is that it might lead to them unpairing which would be sad because I believe BossNoeul have one of the top best chemistry in the industry and seem to love working together ,then I feel for only true Bonohs that are not biased and love them both equally!!
Unfortunately Mame storyline barely benefits Noeul right from LITA , no justice with his character arc, even with his styling .
Her writing is poor which set her actors up for drags but Noeul pays the price more .Right from “Love in the Air” to now, the pattern has been exhausting. He collects hit from all sides, people outside mmy fandom, fans from the other couple in lita, then don't let me get started on some toxic Boss solo stans, you can support your fave without dragging his costar, but for some reason, showing basic respect to Noeul is too hard for them.He is his acting partner, his colleague, his equal, sending hate, nitpicking his appearance, downplaying his talent is disgusting, the way they twist it to say Noeul is dragging Boss down bites deep, It’s cruel and it’s completely untrue.

Noeul is not the problem but Mame's script is, he’s an actor with massive potential, untapped depth, and raw emotional skill , For example in an NC scene where Boss and Noeul are acting together ,apart from the special episode, for the other scenes, you barely see him gets praise or acknowledge, you barely see a solo edit of his character get as much engagement as deserved.
People forget that the reason by the scenes are prefect is because Noeul is equally good, it's not one sided, if it was, the chemistry will be poor. Why is Noeul treated like a backup dancer in his own storylines. The way Noeul is consistently overlooked is frustrating, especially when it's painfully clear that he carries just as much emotional and physical weight in those scenes as Boss does ,if not more at times. NC scenes aren't just about who looks dominant; they’re about connection, vulnerability, timing, expressionall of which Noeul delivers with insane precision.
Let’s be real,NC scenes aren’t easy. They require vulnerability, trust, timing, and expression. I know about the bias in the BL industry where the less “masculine” or less sassy role gets downplayed. But in Noeul’s case, the gap is just too much . He’s not a Sidekick or just “the bottom" , he’s an actor. A damn good one and he deserves to be praised, supported, and pushed forward just as much .

He even said himself he wants more challenging roles he’s been hitting the gym, clearly putting in the effort, clearly working on his craft. I don’t think he wants to just be seen as a soft/fluffy character anymore.

I need Noeul in a better roles to show potentials, I don't mind a switch verse role as well, and shut haters up, unfortunately I doubt if Mame can give that.
BossNoeul chemistry is too expensive and rare to just be given poor script and focused on university setting 🤦‍♀️
Mame is just messing up

BossNoeul are great, storytelling has some problems at the end.

Even though the series has some flaws, I enjoyed watching it. I give attention and rating to very few series, because 90% of bl series are so cringy, that it hurts me to watch it (including the most popular ones). So when I criticize The boy next world, it is still better and more qualitative than most bl series out there. So this series already deserves a high rating and everything I will write below is just nitpicking.
The main advantages:
1. Boss and Noeul, the high rate is mostly due to them. They enhance the quality of any product just by their presence. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be interested in this show if it had any other actors in the lead roles. I don't remember if I was ever seriously interested in the plot of any bl series. I only watch those who act realistically and there are very few of them. And this show was definitely enjoyable to watch.
2. Music. This OST deserves all the awards. But the music in the series as a whole is also at a very high level, I would say better than in most of bl series, it sets the mood and atmosphere of the scenes perfectly.
3. Visuals. Angles, colors, frames were great, everyone involved did a wonderful job.
4. Noeul's hair (…joke. not joke)
5. I won't talk about NC in the list, because everyone already knows. BN have the best NCs not only in thai and not only in bl but overall and that is not a subjective opinion, that simply a fact.
And some things that i personally didn't necessarily like:
1. Script. While the plot was pretty simple for me, I found the delivery very strange sometimes. First big problem is that final was way too rushed, i didn't get enough CirPhu in eps 9-10.
The second problem is that the main Sir was poorly written. He was less interesting to me than all the parallel ones. I would have been more interested in watching all 10 episodes with any of the Sirs shown in the flashbacks, especially dark Sir and Payu Sir. His lines in the first episode were strangely worded, it got better in the following episodes, but those first ones turned off some viewers for sure. It felt that even Boss found it easier to play the other Sirs, they felt more alive.
By the way, Phu was written much better. Zero critics to him.
2. Unnecessary drama. I wasn't interested in mom's drama, they spent too much screen time on her, but it didn't annoy me much because I'm already used to the unnecessary amount of drama in every Thai show. The only regret is that they could have spent all that screen time developing SirPhu's relationship and could show more about parallel versions of them.
3. The first two episodes could have fit into one and the finale could have been a couple of episodes longer.
A conclusion:
High quality product. Has issues with rushed ending but still enjoyable to watch. Enjoyed it even more after rewatching the whole series. Favorite episodes - 5 and 8.
Definitely recommend.

P.S.: This series was good for BN as an experiment and a challenge to acting skills, but i feel the vanilla style is not exectly theirs. They need something more aggressive and driving, with humor and action, less plot twists and more development and realism of the characters. And an experienced bad boy character for Noeul please.

Started off strong but failed to keep it together

Sick of tried and tested BL tropes? Want something *fresh* and *original*? Great. But don’t get your hopes too high up.

This parallel universe thing is mindbendingly confusing but makes for such an intriguing premise. For the most part, you won’t have the full picture of what’s going on. Does it all make sense later on? Sadly, I don’t think so. The writing is a little haphazard and lacks proper flow. Most upsettingly, Cir’s character turned out to be supremely problematic and downright creepy. (In my humble opinion of course.)

The conclusion ends up being overly simplified and unsatisfactory. Central to the story is Cir’s big secret and his valiant attempt at escaping from the trappings of his life. The final episode tries to tackle this in a hurried fashion, and largely doesn’t succeed in providing a reasonable conclusion.

But the chemistry between Boss and Noeul is epic as usual. It's serving like it should. You can look forward to that.

The boy who needs a restraining order

Sadhu !!!)
Agora o final deixou a desejar.

Considero a história cativante, mantendo o espectador engajado.

A cena no episódio 7 realmente me tocou. . .

Encontrei algumas músicas usando o assistente do Google e as adicionei à minha playlist do Spotify. "
