In the 80’s, passing the college entrance exam was the only hope for a future. To Chi Wen and Ming Hsien, it is a bleak and unwanted future that they rebel against. Ming Hsien is in love with Jing Fen, a girl with a musician boyfriend. In order to prove his love, Ming Hsien decides against taking the college entrance exam in order to help her with a financial scam.
