Wheres the spark?
Overall it was a slow start and the character development and attachments are taking way too long to form. The FL is absolutely beautiful. I love her eyes they are so big and express emotions well. Luo Yun Xi has always been a wonderful actor which that has not changed, but he is getting so unbelievably thin. He doesn't look healthy. The belt makes it worse they wrap it around him 3 times which makes him look even skinnier.Well anyways hopefully I see some sparks soon or I may drop my first Luo Yun Xi drama ever.

Worth watching drama
I was very excited to watch this drama. This drama is really nice and funny. I really liked it and thoroughly enjoyed it. About the story, I have to say that it is very good. While watching the drama, I never felt that the story lost it's way or went in a different direction. All cast and crew all hard working team is really appreciated. Both main leads are compatible with each other.Their chemistry is great and both have done justice to their respective characters. I also liked Yan Nan Xing's shape-shifting character. They made a brief appearance in the special appearance story but they all did their job very well. I really liked the character of Jiang Xin Bai's mother. The actress is brilliant and her timing is perfect. The costumes are simple yet elegant. The fighting scenes are very well choreographed and shot perfectly. After watching this drama, I would like to summarize, like Jiang Xin Bai and Yan Nan Xing, we have many battles in our lives, everyone faces many situations in our daily life but instead of sitting and crying for help, accept that battle, weakness and fight for it wholeheartedly. Change yourself. One day you will surely overcome it. ⌛ Life is the most beautiful gift given by God/Universe. ⏳Enjoy every moment and follow your heart.😊✌️🫰

A show so bad, Luo Yunxi owes me financial compensation for getting me into it.
EDIT: I started this series because I'm a fan of Luo Yunxi, I've loved his past series, so I figured this would be a cute watch. It started that way and then halfway through became intolerable to watch. The acting was fine, even though the main pair had very little chemistry by the end of it, but the storyline, the plot, was a complete waste of time. I wish I could surgically remove this show from my brain.
Here are some of the only pros:
- Luo Yunxi
- The two side pairs are cute- though one of them really made me angry at one point that I didn't want them together at all anymore.
- Family and character development
Now for the cons:
- The writing is terrible. They lose complete sight of where the story is going and just repeat arcs with different characters.
- Their villains aren't clever at all, their schemes are idiotic and shouldn't have worked if the writers remembered any of their past storylines and character growth.
- The main pair get neglected for half the series and then are suddenly hit with angst. It got to the point that I stopped rooting for them.
-They completely annihilate any character growth to make their horrible villain arc work and then give that villain a sympathetic death for no reason.
There are so many more cons, but I'm honestly so exhausted from this show. I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I wanted to stick around for the pairings, but I wish I hadn't. A complete waste of time, and my friend and I watched in 2x speed to get it over with.
Here's the thing: This show started out so well-written. It got my friend and I so hooked and invested in the characters and the relationships, especially the character development of Xinbai and Suolou. It was going so well until they killed off a villain duo and then introduced the main villain duo. For one, they already had this dynamic with the past arc and villains. It felt like lazy, pointless writing. And then they add another love interest and antagonist into the mix super late into the show. I liked him as a character at first (not a love interest), but then the writers really messed with his character potential. Had they introduced him before Nanxing and Xinbai were a solid, trusting pair, it could have worked, but they introduced him too late and pushed him as a love interest so hard for no reason. Then, on top of that, they have him and the other two antagonists coming up with pointless, doomed to fail schemes that have no chance of working because the main love pair are so solid in their relationship. So either the writers came up with a useless plot, or their scheme will work and then completely destroy all of the writing and work they put into the series during the last few episodes. It's horrible writing, it really just...falls apart.
On top of that, they've also completely annihilated some of their best characters to make this villain arc even somewhat work. Suolou is so clever and knows about the politics of things, but somehow can't solve her engagement issue when there were obvious solutions right there? And Nanxing as well! She trusts a character that she specifically tells others not to trust an episode prior for no other reason then "she's kind." The writers have completely annihilated their character growth and intelligence in order to make their useless, pointless villain plot work, and it's frustrating. I wish I could quit watching but I'm 33 episodes in and am already invested in the three pairs and want to see how things end with them without this trash Zornia plot. Can't wait to just...be done this show and move on to something more well-written.

Good one
A story about seeking the truth behind the illegal planting of a drug. Throughout the journey to uncover who is responsible and why they are doing it, various parallel stories unfold. Though some of these subplots occasionally dull the narrative, there are many captivating elements that keep you engaged, even if the overall story feels somewhat blended.I like Tong Sai Er and Shang Bie Li' s love story more than the other two . Because in their love story there was no any tention.
And even my favourite character is Tong Sai Er . Her character brought humour to the story .

I couldn't follow them...

Reserve your opinions for your reviews and not for the reviewer who is responding to the drama itself and not to other external aspects. I am responding to this drama that I have watched and I am not personally attacking any actor or actress in real life. After all, I do not know them at all and have nothing against them. No hate on them at all! It is all based on this particular drama only/ this particular reel life only.]I am a fan of the ML and I watched the FL in other dramas and she was great. I was looking forward to this drama and had pretty high expectations. Nonetheless, I decided to drop it after the first 2 episodes because it gave me too much of "Beauty Inside" vibes and I did not want to watch a similar plotline and such. I enjoyed "Beauty Inside" and I think I would have enjoyed "Follow Your Heart" if I had not already watched "Beauty Inside". This is my reason for dropping this drama. I want to move on to other nice dramas out there. There is no hate on any actor or actress or the plot. :o) "Beauty Inside" was a really great drama, in my opinion, and having watched that... it was quite enough. :o)

Adaption of Korean movie/drama
After reading the sypnosis and watching a few episodes, I realized this is adaption of Korean movie/ drama - [The Beauty Inside (Korean: 뷰티 인사이드; RR: Byuti Insaideu) is a 2018 South Korean television series based on the 2015 film of the same name.] taken from wiki.Korean drama lead [Seo Do-jae (Lee Min-ki) who is an executive director of an airline company, seems perfect. He is attractive and intelligent but he actually suffers from prosopagnosia.] taken from wiki, which is face blindness
Watch the Korean drama of 16 episodes to understand the Korean movie and watch this 40 episodes Chinese drama when you have lots of time to kill or keep you company while doing chores! Lol
It is easier to watch this Chinese version after watching the Korean drama. This Chinese version has more details and comes with some crime storyline with it albeit being draggy. The leads deliver the storyline well so it is easy to get me started with the drama and continue.

Excelente producto
