The Story of Pearl Girl

Both dramas has the same FL. After her family the princess asked someone to change her face so she can avenge her family. She went through hardship from being a cleaner to a personal maid. She was favoured by the ML and SML. She was so determined to the end.

Great series, beautyful and sad.

* Both magnificent love stories, full of emotion.
* the FL is struggling to survive
* Times are hard (war and invasion in "My dearest", slavery in TSOPG) and we cannot escape painful scenes
* Both MLs are charismatic
*OSTs are awesome

:- FL grows up to be independent, trying to ensure their survival instead of relying on others. FL is witty, smart and sharp in both the dramas.
:- In both dramas, FL has a difficult childhood. (lived without parents)
:- Revenge plot for ML (family exterminated due to plotting)
:- Misunderstandings between ML and FL leading to angst
However, in The Story of Pearl Girl, the FL is determined to live independently and make her own way into business world while in Love Like the Galaxy, there is no such plotline.

But the FL in both dramas have some sort of similar outlook towards life.

Both are woven from loyalty, loss, and the aching weight of choices made too late.
