Disappointing & Forgettable
Just for the record, I did not binge watch this, but sadly, one week after finishing it, all I can say is that it was OK. I was disappointed in it & wasn't something that I'd rewatch but I was a bit conflicted & so I was unsure how to rate it...... so I put off commenting, thinking that if I gave it a day more to settle in my head I might feel more certain how to rate it (in order to be fair to it) . My hesitation should be a red flag ! That one more day lasted a week ! Which will now drive me crazy not knowing exactly what I didn't like, so I will now feel compelled to rewatch it so that I can update my review. Simple yet Charming
This was a really easy watch. I liked that the FL wasn't ashamed of wanting a glow up, and desiring to find a man to marry that would essentially elevate her to a higher class socially and economically. While most people would consider her a gold digger, the FL never portrayed herself that way. If women were not supposed to use their good looks to appease to men, then they wouldn't have been born that way, and the FL recognizes that and automatically blushes at the thought of falling head over heels in love with someone. Usually when I watch a drama, I don't really care what happens to the FL, but for the FL in this drama, I was definitely rooting for her. She deserved all the happiness that she was seeking. The theme of this drama was "Follow you Joy", and I think that she really did prove that she has what it takes to do that and much more. I especially liked the FL because usually in dramas the FL is shy and naive, almost to a default. In this drama, she is flirty and openly loves the attention she gets from love interests, which was very refreshing to see. Drama was charming, ending was rushed, but still quaint and quite nice. "Make your delulu become trululu"
This drama is literally the definition of your delusions and wishes becoming true.You start this drama with the typical poor, funny and delusional female lead and the snobby, narcissitic and traumatized male lead. Despite this drama being extremely cliché, they changed it in a way that it makes the drama enjoyable, funny and with a lot of depth and story behind it. Every character is unique in their own way with their own personalities, what makes this series so captivating. I'm so surprised how they were able to fit so MUCH in only 10 episodes.
WARNING!!:
If you are a very serious person that doesn't take things lightheartedly, this drama is NOT for you! This whole k-drama is unserious, extremely satire and goofy as hell. The sad and angsty moments don't last for too long and they use a lot of cartoonish effects and sounds to make the series more entertaining. The male lead eventually has then loser tedencies and becomes obsessed with the female lead and tries to win her over. Many moments in this drama are so CRINGE, that you genuinely just want to turn off the screen, get up and scream. 😭
However despite all ofthis, this drama is AMAZING and definitely recommend it if you love rom com!
My final rating is 8/10.

Os dois primeiros episódios não me convenceram, apareciam muitos floreios e tudo estava acontecendo rápido demais. Depois disso, a história se torna muito instigante e deixa a gente querendo saber o que vai acontecer antes mesmo do episódio acabar!! É um dorama curtinho (com 10 eps com cerca de 45 min) e divertido, perfeito pra maratonar. Os protagonistas têm química e o Lee Jun Young nunca decepciona em atuações mais descontraídas como essa 💘 e a Shin Jae Rim é daquelas protas maluquinhas que nunca baixam a guarda heheheWas this review helpful to you?

PERFECT HARMONY
I just finished watching the series Dreaming of Cindrella. This drama is full of entertainment with ridiculous and joyful scenes. I loved Pyo Ye Jin's character because despite being poor her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law weren't bad people. They were actually good characters and they who loved Pyo Ye Jin. I really liked it. Jun Young's character was also very funny characther. He doesn't like the woman who dream of becoming Cinderella, but Pyo Ye jin's character does. Initially, they didn't like each other but soon after quickly, Lee Jun Young's character fell in loved with Pyo Ye Jin's character. I also love the outfits worn by the main leads; they were amazing. Pyo Ye Jin's character start working at a social club where Lee Jun young's character is the Ceo.They meet in this way, and through her work Pyo Ye Jin's character grows as a person, becoming more independent. Pyo Ye Jin and Jun young's characters are complete opposites. But their relationship is wonderfully crazy and romantic. They become the perfect couple. I think there were a lot of valuable life lessons in the drama. I highly recommend it.Was this review helpful to you?
Would Recommend for Business Proposal Fans or Romance Manhwa Readers
I don't know about other people but I really, really like this drama. It's a bit shorter than other dramas, but it's the perfect rebound for me after finishing "My Lovely Runner". It's cute and fluffy and has some cliches yet they're presented in a original way. Idk, this drama has FRESH feel to it and I've never seen another drama like this. For instance, the leads gets very FRISKY and INTIMATE in the ML's dreams (I've never seen another romance drama where the guy gets a boner or wet dreams, lol). ML is kinda obnoxious but he's also so handsome and has dirty dreams which make him more realistic and human. Another thing that's unique about this drama is that it's in 3rd person POV, so we can relate to both of the leads and see what they're thinking and feeling. It very much feels like I'm reading a Korean webtoon or manhwa. I would highly recommend this show if you liked Business Proposal.Was this review helpful to you?

ROM-COM WRITERS TAKE NOTES!!!!!
This is the first Rom-Com (Kdrama) that i've binge-watched for a while!!!!!!!!! The SPOT-ON cast and the hilarious moments throughout the kdrama made this rom-com a really worthwhile watch!!! The only small thing i'd maybe change is how the ending was made because personally it felt a bit rushed and I would have liked to see a bit more closure for the rest of the characters but maybe that's just me! Otherwise everything else is AMAZING!!!! The cast WAS SPOT ON, from the main leads to the even the smallest of characters!! I definitely had the second-lead syndrome BIG TIMES (Male because the Dan-A kinda pissed me off esp at the end) but I do understand why ultimately she ended up with the male lead. That one scene where the SML stands up for the FL to the mean girl and tells her off about how she isn't the one pursuing him but the other way around WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET. Tbf though, I didn't like him much at the start because of the hankerchief moment and how he's kinda playing her at first but I like how he did truly like her towards the end and not as just a pawn in a fun game anymore ( AfterThe BL novel thing and he realizes that she might be only one that accepts him for who he truly is persona or not). Overall I LOVE LOVE LOVE (Should I say it again? LOVE) THE ACTORS THEY PICKED (One because I already know the actors from their previous projects) because for starters you can really see through the ML's face and face expressions that Cha-Min is quirky and VERY confident. While the FL has that little crazy look that fits just right (Idk if that makes sense but yknow that little glint of mischiviousness in her eyes). ANYWAY, this Kdrama was completely worth my time and I'd rewatch it but maybe not anytime soon maybe in a year or 2!!! Omg, at first, i thought this drama would be a cliche and boring drama. But it turns out theyre so freaking good HAHAHAHHA. Theyre so hilarious. The editing and all got me everytime HAHHAHAH. Also at this point, i was trying to find any drama that has this drama vibe but i couldnt, so i just kept rewatching the episode while waiting fpr the next... When I tell you episode 1 and 2 had me rolling, lol, it was funny as hell!! I loved how unserious the story is. It's easy to follow despite being short; the cast was really good. Must watching.I've never written a review but I have to because this rating isn't right.
YES, this is a low budget drama - n° of episodes, duration, scenery, cast and script (in some points) - BUT honestly it's also thanks to this that it's fast, fun, entertains you from start to finish, zero useless stories or scenes in 2x.
They did the best work they could, result: AMAZING.
The chemistry between the protagonists is fantastic, the plot seems like a cliché but it is developed in an original way and focuses on them, full of highlights, twists and fluttering moments: a healing drama and a roller coaster of emotions!
I saw it in one night, rewatch guaranteed.
I needed this after series with 15/16 useless eps
For me it's a YES, I recommend!!!!

Silly, goofy, and imaginative rom-com for kid-ish adults!
.Disclaimer: At this point in time, I have only completed two episodes of this drama. I will comeback once this drama finishes to finalise my review.
OVERALL
To explain, this show feels like a third-rate cinderella story in the best way possible (I promise this is a compliment). It reminds me of the narrative style often employed by Japanese shows. It's refreshing and imaginative. A light-hearted and fun drama with minimal seriousness. The cherry on top, is our two beloved leads and their superior acting skills.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who hates romance and comedy because that is the very essence of this show. Still, I am not a fan of rom-coms and is an avid lover of thrillers but I enjoyed this drama so far.
STORY
The premise is the well known and heavily overused story of a modern cinderella but with a refreshing twist. Although, this is your average couple dynamic of a rich man and poor woman, from the short snippet I've watched, I can already tell that the characters are though out and have gone beyond surface level. A female lead that actually wants to be a Cinderella and a male lead with an actual personality other than being a "tsundere" (cold on the outside, soft on the inside). The first impression you get is that both leads are your run-off-the-mill crackheads. They are bound to cause trouble wherever they go together (in a humorous way).
Jae-Rim's (the female lead) story is a mirroring of Cinderella's story. Jae-Rim's father passes away leaving her at the mercy of her step-mother and two step-sisters. The twist is that once you take an inside look into their family you can see that Jae-Rim's not a typical cinderella. Jae-Rim's step-mother is actually nice (albeit clueless) and her step-sisters are nothing more than typical siblings. However, this dynamic lets the audience look at one of Jae-Rim's flaws, she somewhat seems to force her situation to fit a Cinderella story.
Then comes Cha-Min (a literal pun to Prince Charming) who hates Cinderellas. However, he's different from your average jerk male leads that hate true love or their future love interest for no reason. He's not a holier-than-thou figure or a typical boss on their high horse. Cha-Min is close with his employees and purses a good work balance. He's a bit fcked in the head (but are well all also a little fcked in the head).
In contrast to your typical K-dramas, this drama spares on time on the romance. First episode in and you practically dive head in to romance in the most hilarious and nonchalant way.
I can already feel that this drama is going to be an absolute hilarious and sweet gem.
ACTING & CAST
The first thing I have to say is that I started watching this drama for Pyo Ye-Jin and Lee Jun-Young (Jun) and I am going to continue watching this drama for Ye-Jin and Jun.
Ye-Jin and Jun are two of my favourite actors. They are experts at playing silly goofy characters with serious back stories. I absolutely adore Jun and will watch anything and everything he is in. I strongly think that both Ye-Jin and Jun are severely underrated actors. I hope to see them in many more lead roles across different genres.
I can't think of any two better people to play these two leading roles. Their chemistry is off the charts. They really do give twin troublemaker vibes.
CINEMATOGRAPHY & EDITING/ DIRECTING
I actually love the format of this drama. It gives me 2010's J-drama/ J-movie vibes. The narration is over exaggerated and expressive. It does feel like your reading a comedy spin-off of your favourite fairytales (which it literally is). It's colourful and seemingly childish. It gives you nostalgic feelings about your own childhood imagination. It almost allows the audience to enjoy kid things in an adult way. All of this, truly adds and emphasises the premise of the story. They've added colourful and comical scenes, that make it even more novel-like. I guess, these scenes remind me of Japanese variety shows (mostly the romance ones). This style of 2000s - 2010s style of format has not been seen in the K-drama industry for long time. So, it's refreshing and new.
