It honestly felt like I was watching the modern version of MLG- Wow!

There are not many similarities in the story. However the FL are both general and have the same strong female vive. I love the way the ML seems soft and ended been strong but supportive.
Although her ML at first appears toxic, she learns his motives and wants to support him.

Also, they are short stories

- Arranged/forced marriages where the MLs marry into FL's family (matriarchy in FMMTDXHL, patriarchy in MLG)
- Both MLs are quirky and coquettish (in MLG he's more scheming while in FMMTDXHL he isn't)
- Both FLs are strong, tough warriors
- Gender role reversal in both

- Strong and hardworking FLs
- Cheeky, flamboyant, and dramatic MLs pretending to be weak princes in peril
- FL saves ML
- ML hides his true identity and is a bit unstable
- ML has a loyal but reluctant sidekick

Obvious setting differences aside since MLG takes place in a historical setting while NSWWYDXD takes place in a contemporary setting but I couldn't help but think of MLG while watching NSWWYDXD
