I was also banking with my previous experience with wetv, no actual breaks. They may do 1ep per day, but thats it.
I know youku have breaks. Cant remember qith iqiyi and mango.

Yes, Tencent & Youku have break & express. Cannot recall about iQIYI having a break. Only express. They want to keep the suspensw with airing, not only the drama's plots 😅

Yes, there will be 2 episodes on September 21 to 24.
"持续解锁中......" can be translated as "continuing to unlock (more episodes)..."
I suspect they won't have breaks until closer to the end, probably around episode 41 or 42, when they offer the express episodes for purchase. It's CCTV-8 though so the break might not be long.
Edit: They may have a short break for Mid-Autumn Festival (September 25).

The drama airs on CCTV so it will have consistent airing schedule, just like cctv used to, with their dramas.
Not sure about 25 and so on tho. Maybe they find the drama is not thrilling enough they also decide to add the suspense to the airing schedule? 😅
