This proves how little value he holds for honor and family. He is Xu’s living proof of guilt.😝 He damn well is. He sold his soul when he made a deal with the devil Xu. He licks the boots of his master not even understanding he’s going to fall with no mourning for his worship. The suppressed spirit soul temple still calls for him. I am hoping Chu’s guard isn’t killed for holding her ground against that petulant spoiled brat. Hopefully appeasing the daughter with more face time will help. But now that she sees your most valued painting, there is no telling what she will do. She and wretched brother are the perfect match, but what would they create? Sometimes best not to speculate.😝I loved the fight in the tavern. It reminded me of fight scene from The Musketeer movie. Fights were choreographed by Xiong XinXin. It was not appreciated in general, but the fight scenes were top notch and is one of my favorite movies. I loved how they sat there not even flinching as the swords came down. The woman was a surprise and that is the only reason she managed to draw blood. I am glad weapon wasn’t poisoned. Poor Feinu stuck with being mouthpiece for invite. Xiao Jue is shameless using this ruse to get his way. 🤣 It was a poignant scene for HeYan at the gate of the city where she was betrayed and left for dead. The one thing she has in common with her ‘brother’ is agreement only one would survive their next meeting. Xiao Jue’s sibling and wife do not quite know what to make of He Yan. They are puzzled at the care and proximity their reclusive brother is giving his friend. It was a poignant moment for him when kneeling before his parents’ memorial. He promises them justice and a future meeting with someone special. He Yan is looking for family gifts when she catches her would be assassins and sends them back with the message the debt will be paid in full. The weasel brother has an assassins’mini bow poised to shoot at her when episode ends…….😝🫣 til tomorrow’s episode.

Entering the Capital City

While He Rufei's side of story was shown in the temple where Xu Jingfu came to meet him, and they planned the Mingshui Battle and He Yan's death. While he tells his father He Yan is alive and will be returning to the Capital soon and he won't let her enter the Capital (kill her before entering the Capital). CZ is has dropped facade with Xu Pingting and doesn't want to even see her (she's an evil character) and just a trouble maker. But she was whining to her father (Chancellor ) about CZ's maid (and Xu Jingfu even warned CZ). I just can't stop laughing at what Xiao Dudu is doing right now 🤣. Literally Feinu would be thinking like "ARE YOU REALLY MAKING ME ASK HER EVERYTHING THAT YOU SHOULD BE ASKING HER??" 🤣 When they were at an inn having lunch they were talking about going home, but since He Yan doesn't have a home anymore, XJ wanted to take her to his home. But guess what he just picked up his sword and unsheathed it (signalling with eyes, Feinu to ask her where she'll stay in the Capital?)🤣. Then when her reaction was that I'll stay in an inn, XJ tapped his fingers kn the table gesturing to Feinu to do something 🤣. He's being so funny🤣. Seeing his Master smile Feinu was happy too🤭. She'll be staying at the Xiao Residence. Ah He Rufei sent quite some men to kill He Yan but the three of them (HY, XJ, Feinu) fought majestically. I love this trio✨. Finally a good fight (although the main theme of this drama was supposed to be fighting wars but they changed it and now there are even less fighting scenes). I feel bad for CZ, he knows that Chancellor wants his daughter to be happy and that particular daughter is head over heels for CZ (she can even kill a person for him), and since XJF warned him about his maid (she wasn't just a maid, in the novel, it was said that he saved her and she was utmost loyal to CZ, and he always treated her right, although she liked her master, but never crossed the line, her end in novel was extremely sad). He has to spend time with the Chancellor's daughter just so he won't upset his Master again. But in CZ's absence she was looking through the painting scrolls and found He Yan's painting. XJ and HY, Finally they're home, He's caring for her🤭. I hope she'll give an additional punch and kick to HRF.
