If there's only one makjang you think of watching it should be this one
Mastering the balance between Romance and Revenge, this drama is gonna be one of my favorites for a long time.Being a fan of Sung hoon in this drama he shines the best!
Main leads are so lovable that we want to root for them.
No unnecessary misunderstandings they communicate and clear things up quickly. Green flags y'all!!!
Villains do a good job at being evil ! Acting is 🔥
Ost suits and Halo is just amazing!
Why only 12 episodes? What do i do now that its over.
Highly recommend!

Love It!
It is with great joy and regret that I finish this drama, I was happy from beginning to end, full of twists and turns, hateful villains, a naive girl who becomes ambitious and fearless, a very cute gentleman who does everything for his loved one, see their love being born and building was beautiful, the happy ending deserved after all the suffering, Yi Joo and Do Guk will always have a space in my heart 💖.Was this review helpful to you?
Sung hoon is definitely is a big green forest.
I cast my vote for 10 10 10 10 ... its perfect. First let me start with ML . Oh man seo do guk steal the show.. well done sung hoon... I am pretty sure .. never ever I get tired of him. He is considerate.. thoughtful and... definitely a man who every girls wish to have. Honestly I thought the director will end this drama with villain get their worst ending.. seems like the director know our hearts. He blessed us and made us god mother and god father.I personally recommended everyone to watch this if with no toxic in laws. By watching 1 ep dont come to conclusion coz for me story starts when Sung hoon is there.

Saved Me From a K-Drama Slump
I've been in a slump lately, with mediocre drama after mediocre drama. But I'm happy to report that this show sucessfully won me back.Perfect Marriage Revenge is a K-Drama based off of an ongoing (almost finished) webtoon. I've read the webtoon and I enjoyed it well enough. And who doesn't love the contract marriage trope? So I decided to give the drama a shot, and I'm so glad I did.
It isn't exactly a faithful adaptation, while a lot of the same things happen in the two, there's a different order of events, which I personally think flows much better in the drama. The drama also has better development of the relationships and stronger characterization. I enjoyed both Yi-Ju and Do-Guk's characters significantly more here than I did in the Webtoon.
The last show I watched Sung Hoon in, I wasn't a huge fan. So, I was delightfully surprised by how much I loved his portrayal of Do-Guk here. And Ji-Yu couldn't have been cast better. The two of them worked phenomenally together and their romance was defiantly the highlight for me!
The revenge plot is incredibly convoluted, and the relationship dynamics are a tangled web that's nearly impossible to unwind, in the most delightful way possible. While I have seen some people complain about how complicated it was I felt the show was well enough written that I was never lost. Every scene progressed the plot in some way and there was certainly never a dull moment.
Every character was perfectly cast. I loved who I was supposed to love and hated who I was supposed to hate. Which is a feat not all dramas can accomplish. In fact, I'm not sure I've hated a villain this much in a good long while.
The only thing that's keeping me from giving this show a perfect score is episode one. The show started out a bit slow and I didn't like the characters much. It wasn't until maybe the last twenty minutes of the episode that it got me. By the end of episode one I was invested enough to keep watching. And by the beginning of episode two I was 100% sold on it. I enjoyed every second of the next eleven episodes and would have gladly watched more.
Is the show complicated? Yes. Unrealistic? Yeah. Is it over the top dramatic? Absolutely.
But it's exactly what its supposed to be. I'm going to keep recommending it, and I will without a doubt be back for a rewatch.

Revenge is just best served (cold, hot or whatever) as karma has its hands full
9/10 is my rating. This is a 2023 South Korean romance, revenge drama with 12, 70 minute episodes. It is based on a popular web novel of the same name.First I provide a unique synopsis then Review

Review
If you are a fan of revenge dramas this fits that bill while also having a really sweet romances woven through. It ends well and happy.
Spoilers
The evil step mom in this is so thoroughly evil it is hard to imagine what she wouldn’t do. Not only does she abuse and poison Yi joo, she contracts to have people murdered, holds an artist in captivity to have him paint and sell his art, and drugs her husband.
I liked Donguk’s mother, grandmother and sister. They were solidly on Yi Joo’s side when they discovered what her adopted mom had done to her. Jung hye’s cold demeanor and evil plots were like a blend of “Flowers in the attic” and “Mommy Dearest” level evil mother. It was satisfying when she was taken down.

oh she was goood.
this was a great drama I had a blast I was heavily into it. There were a few holes I loved and hated ml family, but it was great. I will say I didn’t like the grandpa, it felt like he randomly changed to evil from really youthful and goofy to just evil after a episode or 2.Was this review helpful to you?

Perfect Marriage Perfect Chemistry
I have never seen such good chemistry amongst male and female lead since Do Bong Soon. The chemistry is just sizzling, also their acting is pretty good. All cast are good actors. I also want to commend Lee Min Young for her acting. I watched her in Love Marriage Divorce where she portrayed a timid nice respectful lady turn into a vicious annoying lady in Perfect Marriage Revenge - she is just so convincing! Making her a super good actress.
Story line is a bit of a fantasy / time travel which of course it’s not true to life but I guess it’s just one aspect the writers want to interject so there’s a way to go back in time. I think of it as a metaphor of changing your life while you still have time.

I so much love this drama
I was in a kdrama slump and this drama brought me out of it so Iono about anyone else but to me, this na 10/10 drama. I love every little details about this drama. Every mess and drama, every plot holes, I love. It brought out a wide range of emotions in me. I cried, I laughed, I giggled, I got angry, I was sad, I felt pity.Kudos to the production and acting crew. And female lead, mehn, she's so pretty. I wish to see her in more lead roles. And Sung hoon oppa, you've had me since MSR so well-done, keep going higher.

A perfect, 'Perfect Marriage Revenge'
Rarely do I find myself genuinely fond of both leading characters, but in this series, I couldn't help but root for them throughout. It's tough to witness even fictional characters endure exploitation and abuse, but the satisfaction of seeing them grow stronger and seek revenge is truly rewarding. As the description suggests, this series revolves around the opportunity for a fresh start in life and love. Yi Joo takes charge, steering us through her journey of perfect revenge—a thrilling, romantic, and sometimes scary adventure. I'm glad I joined her on this ride because it was absolutely worth it.

Well that hit the spot
This was very well done and the entire cast did an amazing job.It had some romance and revenge of course more revenge if always
welcomed but it was good. The male/female leads were fantastic and
the supporting cast was just as fantastic. From the wardrobe that the
cast had right down to the slightest thing in production it was spot on.
I read the webtoon and there was some things that they changed but
it still came out ok in the end. I was however a bit nervous that the
a lot of important things would get left in since they only had 12
episodes but it all came together. Maybe if they had the episodes
run an extra 5-10 minutes they could've had time to add in some things
though. Like it would've been a good thing to have the two sisters run into
each other a few times after it was all over and I really was looking forward
seeing that. I wanted Han Yoo Ra's nose to be rubbed in the fact that her sister
was living her best life. This is a show that I'll have on my rewatch list.

revenge is the best medicine!
from start to finish I was hooked! both lead characters had such great chemistry. some people forget this came out before marry my husband. i love the story line. we all wish we could go back and change things. the story line was awesome! there were twists and turns especially toward the end. I’m a little upset people keep comparing this to marry my husband but I like both. so far the only similarities is time travel but marry my husband don’t have many episodes out yet so we shall see but for this one they did an amazing job!Was this review helpful to you?
