THE DOMINO EFFECT

A thrilling, bingeable drama that will leave you in awe!!! 😱A story about "cursed" connections that can only end in destruction.☠️
A totally unexpected Netflix treasure that definitely lives up to its title: "Karma" is not for the faint of heart...!!👀

I knew the story was going to be dark from the trailer but I was not prepared for... all THAT. 😳There's crime, mystery, violence, The writer did an EXCEPTIONAL job woving the story, leaving nothing to chance. 👏Every character is connected, everything they do has consequences.

The cast had really good chemistry with each other, everyone's acting was on point. I honestly have ZERO complaints. 👍This whole viewing experience exceeded my expectations!!! 🔥The ending was sooo fitting. 🤌I would definitely recommend it to people who enjoy OCN Dramas in particular, aka the best thrillers in K-Drama land.😉

PS: There are some really cool guest roles and cameos. Look forward to them!!!😎
PS2: Episode 2 was actually pretty funny to me, maybe given the circumstances I shouldn't have laughed but I actually chocked from laughing too much because of a certain "unfortunate" chain of events xD 😝

A Karmic Justice

This story is self-explanatory by its title, as the story nicely navigates among its characters to establish karmic justice in all senses. The fate of the villains feels absolutely satisfying at the end as everyone gets their karma. The story feels nice without any dragging. The story is presented smartly and it does not feel dragging at any point. This was a nice, enjoyable drama in all senses.

Karma Always Finds Itself Back To You

Karma 2025 6 eps 9/10
This was very interesting and such a diabolical show for me to watch but really showcased how your past mistakes can linger on and eventually give you karma like one line at the end of the show was “You can think of this as karma.” as the doctor or whatever surgeon who picked up a random side hustle was about to stab his knife into him. I really like how at the start we got random stories of these people and as the episodes went on everything started to click together like a perfect puzzle piece forming together, this show always had me thinking of how they knew each other or how someone would die. The idea of the red string theory is insane in this way, that everyone is someone connected to everyone. There were only 6 episodes but very good episodes that got me craving for more, I never really got bored because there was always something diabolical happening right in the show. But this show wasn’t a masterpiece that shocked me so maybe I would give it a solid 9/10.
“Karma will always find itself back to you.”

The Karmic Red String Weaves a Web of Misfortune & Revenge

TL;DR - This is story telling at its finest, go watch it. This is a 10/10 drama - Believe It!

From the moment Karma 2025 was announced, it firmly secured a place on my 2025 watchlist. When it finally premiered on April 4th, 2025, I eagerly headed to MDL to check out the reviews, only to be taken aback by its modest 7.1 rating (so glad it is improved by the time I am typing this). Ordinarily, such a score might dissuade me from diving in, but thankfully, my instincts and excitement overpowered any hesitation. I began binge-watching this drama late at night—and here I am, writing this in the early hours of the morning, utterly captivated. It was impossible to stop!

The storytelling here is simply masterful. The narrative threads are intricately woven and interconnected in a way that feels as though the fabled Red String of Fate itself is at work. Credit where credit is due: the writer, director, and cast have all outdone themselves. Karma 2025 is a dark, raw, and enigmatic drama that will keep you guessing right until the end. Each story blends seamlessly into the next, with no gaps or jarring shifts. The format is exquisite—a tapestry of individual tales that interconnect into one larger, breathtaking narrative.

The main characters are delightfully unhinged, each to varying degrees, and watching their individual arcs collide with others is nothing short of mind-blowing. Their stories are fascinating in isolation, and they elevate the drama to greatness when they converge.

In every aspect—storytelling, acting, suspense, background music, cinematography, pacing, and even its concise format—this drama is a perfect 10/10. I wholeheartedly urge you to watch Karma 2025, especially if this genre aligns with your interests or if you're looking to explore something new.

Karma (2025) – 10/10 Must-Watch Netflix Thriller

Karma Hits Best – A Dark, Twisted Ride You Can’t Pause 🖤

I just binged all 6 episodes on Netflix in one sitting—only paused for bathroom breaks 😮‍💨 That’s how hooked I was!

This series is dark, gritty, intense, and so cleverly written 🧠🖤 Every episode left me with questions, then slowly unraveled the answers. The way all the characters’ stories connect like a puzzle was just brilliant.

No need for overly pretty faces here—the performances were raw and real. It's all about greed, trauma, secrets, and consequences... and when karma hits, it hits HARD 😵‍💫💥

If you love mind-bending thrillers full of tension and twists, this is for you.

You'll Always Get Back What You Deserve

This drama follows a group of deeply questionable people making equally questionable choices and I’ll leave it at that. At its core, Karma is about consequences: how every action, no matter how carefully hidden or justified, eventually circles back. The premise revolves around watching each character slowly receive exactly what they deserve, for better or worse.

What I Loved

1. The Cast & Acting
The casting was one of the strongest aspects of this drama. It featured several of my favorite actors, and I actually started watching primarily because of Kim Nam Gil. Every actor stayed firmly in their lane and delivered performances that felt convincing and impactful. No one felt miscast, and the emotional weight of their choices came through clearly. Even when the characters were unlikeable, the acting made them compelling to watch.

2. The Premise & Execution
While the concept of karma and moral consequences isn’t new, the drama handled it effectively. The storytelling ensured that each character’s actions led to a fitting outcome, which was satisfying to witness. There were no random resolutions, everything felt intentional. The show stayed true to its theme and didn’t shy away from showing the cost of selfishness, greed, and poor decisions.

What I Disliked

1. The Pacing
My main issue was that the drama felt slightly rushed. I would have loved to see more depth and backstory for some of the characters. A bit more time spent exploring their motivations and internal conflicts could have made their arcs even more powerful and emotionally resonant. The foundation was there, it just needed more room to breathe.

Overall, Karma is a solid watch with strong performances and a clear moral direction. Despite some pacing issues, it succeeds in delivering a dark, satisfying exploration of cause and effect. If you enjoy character-driven dramas where actions have real consequences, this one is definitely worth checking out

A crime drama but better

I liked this overall. I wanted to watch it for Park Hae-Soo, and he did an incredible job like always. He can always play such a good villain. The story of this was interesting but I didn't necessarily love the ending. It was fine, not the best but not the worst. It shows just how deceiving and greedy people can be, and I think it was done super well. I do think the length of the show though is perfect! It came and didn't overstay it's welcome with unneeded episodes.

THE REASON WHY THIS CALLED 'KARMA'

wow, the final episode literally mindblowing.

//spoiler//
now i understand why Haesoo and Heejun doesnt have character name in the website because of THE PLOT. Every singles things more become karma to 'witness' becaue he also have connection to Juyeon backstory and the organizing of th eplot is good. everything become connected in the end and its sooooo freaking good with the plot twist

When Jeongmin (Kim Namgil) said he want to meet his sick family member, that tme i already think "what if Jeongmin suddenly the surgeon" AND HE REALLY IS!! This is like the karma is repaid by Juyeon's boyfriend
Jeongmin is the true psycho in this drama guyyyy

Tons of plot twists, but tons of plot holes as well

I was giggling everytime a plot twist pulled out on the screen but the amount of plot holes messed up all the storyline and it made me really disappointed like:

SPOILERS

- How did they get insurance if it was only for accidents? In a real situation, running someone over and then hiding the body in a forest would be classified as murder.
- The police were looking for the Chinese man, but when they saw him in the car they didnt give a fuck. Weren't the local police alerted about this guy? That's strange, since he murdered one of them.
- How did they get his fingerprints in the car if his fingertips were already burned? Or did they find the other guy's fingerprints? But even so, it wouldn't make sense because how did they figure out that they were two different people in that way?
- How could he say he was tied up in a chair, if he was found on the floor? And the person who was in the chair was completely charred nd the chair he was sitting in remained intact.

// Karma flows and resonates back as always

/ I did enjoy the karmic events that happened in this mini drama. Though, I knew the plot twist (or rather anticipated) happening beyond the story, the pacing really kept me in my watching experience.
/ Good watch if you're trying to trickle down your interest in finding your next drama during the holidays or break.

They really nailed the essence of the drama's title.

The storytelling and direction were incredibly well done—kept me hooked from start to finish. The pacing felt just right, not too slow or rushed. Each episode unravels new layers in such a smooth and clever way. As the story progresses, you start to catch onto certain patterns, but just when you think you’ve figured it out, they throw in twists and hidden links that catch you off guard. The phrase "what you sow, you shall reap" truly fits the entire vibe of the show. The cast includes some amazing veteran actors, and honestly, everyone delivered strong performances. There's definitely gore—quite a bit of it actually—but I wouldn’t call it scary. It leans more into crime than horror or thriller. It’s been a while since I watched a crime/thriller that didn’t feel dragged out, and this one hit the mark. Only 6 episodes, which was perfect—tight, impactful, and straight to the point. A solid binge!

The lord of plot twists

The incredible amount of depth and madness all connected in one multi layered situation intertwined by deadly impeccable fate, the plot arrangement is extremely twisted yet still works flawlessly like the lord of plot twists, the writers really have done the impossible work here. Cinematography is classy and gritty, acting performance is powerful and effective, this is one insane cinema grade experience right here.
