Probably 2024’s Best
Loved this drama. It was something I always looked forward to at the end of every week. The angst, the action, the drama, the plot, they were all wonderfully made.
And as much as I love romance and the chemistry between the leads, this is probably the first time that it didn’t become my focus or priority. I was so engrossed in the story that I just want to know what will happen to Justitia and the gang in the end.
Speaking of the end… While the open ending gives everyone a somewhat happy ending; because it’ll be up to us to interpret what Justitia’s next action will be, I still preferred if they ended this on a bittersweet note. I think the impact would even be bigger. Because in all honesty, the plot twist to give her mortality in the end, beats the purpose of her being an actual judge from hell with zero f**ks to give. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the character growth of Justitia, but let’s be honest, we cannot erase that at the end of this all, they are still from hell… And I was somehow prepared that this will be like a CLOY love story with heaven and hell as the barrier... I just really wish that the ending was more thorough, or more options were given, rather than it being focused on just giving a happy-happy good ending fan service for everyone.
But overall, I still love this drama. Very much so one of the best for 2024.
-.5 just because I can’t with the ending. This is probably a me issue though.

Spectacular
Hands down, one of greatest dramas made in the last few years. It's probably in my top 3 favourite dramas I've seen this year and it's totally deserved the hype.
I liked the story and the pace, it's very satisfying specially the punishments, I found myself agreeing with Justitia most of the time, I don't care if they didn't go to jail if the criminals were tortured, died painfully and went to hell, that's is more satisfying than staying behind bars for a few years.
I also have to applaud the acting, PSH shines here, and I have to say I'm impressed she improved BIG TIME, the rest of the cast was also amazing but I only mentioned PSH as she was -for me- slightly over hyped as an actress specially in her old dramas, I liked her generally but let's say I wouldn't exactly jump at the any chance of watching anything if I knew she is in it, nevertheless, here she was amazing, she nailed her role.
I don't think I hated anything about the drama, the only thing that I slightly didn't like was that it was very predictable, I expected almost everything and every secret, yet I didn't feel bored watching it it was still entertaining.
I also loved how they didn't dwell on the crimes, only took the time to show the whole punishment instead and equally focused on Justitia story as well as the crimes and punishments.
I would recommend it if you like the genre. It's done very well.

Need more of this kind of anti hero dramas
I love this drama because it is quite different from other K-dramas which the main character, Justicia/ Kang Bitna is an anti hero. The storyline is very interesting and refreshing although it is still predictable. Park Shin Hye acting is good and well spotted. However, some of the actors who played as villains were very cringey and overacting, very hard to watch. Was this review helpful to you?

fantasy yay
I love mostly fantasy , and I was tired of waiting on a new one 😆 I love the story (on episode 2 now) love the actors and very good graphics.. I'm intrigued, although I usually don't like the court and lawyer type of shows, the fantasy really makes up for itI want to point out that it's not available on Disney in Belgium and we don't have Hulu so I needed to go to dramacool to be able to watch. pls do not forget our small country 🙏
really good show and looking forward to the next episodes.

Best 2024 kdrama !
It delivered exactly what it promised. A ruthless demon judge from hell punished criminals in the most satisfying way possible. The storyline of this drama is unique and well written/delivered.
I started this drama without much expectations since dramas this year were disappointing and left me in a kdrama slump but judge from hell exceeded my expectations and completely won me over with a captivating storyline and great performance by the actors .
The concept if punishing criminals in the same way they tortured their victims was so satisfying to watch . Applaud to the writer(s) for this masterpiece.
Park shin hye as Kan bitna was a delight to watch . Her character was so refreshing and likeable until the very end .
Kim jae young as Han da on , al tho was a bit annoying at the beginning but his character development was so good that i fell in love with him later on . Also he’s so gorgeous and his smile is so pretty .
A solid 10/10 from me because it was a treat to watch this drama and each episode was interesting and better so I don’t see the point of giving it any less rating than this.

Not just your typical strong FL,this is screaming a Nutjob
Indeed A fantasy Drama which has a Satisfying Ending. The screenwritter actually knows how to write a story and satisfy the audience. Literally everything i wanted to see at the end i got to see,and it was ended very pleasantly. Hardly found any loopholes though its a drama obviously there'll be some but u could easily ignore them.Direction, Plot,Screenplay is 10/10 from me.Episode ending doesn't look like a cliffhanger but it will make u wanted to watch more,That's the beauty of Fantasy-Mystery drama and the director nailed it.
Acting?? For me This is PSH 's best performances she really look like a Demon in her demeanor. Other supportive character or guest character all are so good at acting that i literally cried many times specially in the last few episodes. Talking about ML? actually he did well what he was directed too,i think his character doesn't have much to do just a help to plot and FL character development. He did quite well.Off Topic: He is adorably Handsome too.like Kang bitna said. The Final villain succeeded to make me hate him, obviously a brilliant actor.
OST- Don't remember any specifically but Background music is perfect and scary sometime.

Park Shin-hye delivers one of her most captivating performances to date in Judge from Hell. Her ability to shift from a cold, ambitious judge to a fierce, vengeful demon is the driving force of the series, ruthless one moment, vulnerable and deeply human the next.
The way she delivers supernatural punishment to those who mock justice is strangely satisfying and cathartic.
The pacing is excellent, with the main mystery skillfully interwoven among the individual cases. And yes, her chemistry with Kim Jae-young as Detective Han Da-on is the cherry on top, adding emotional depth and magnetic tension to every scene.
If you enjoy revenge dramas with a supernatural twist and a moral dilemma about what justice truly means, this one’s for you. It’s a thrilling, stylish journey, and its ending will definitely leave you thinking.

PSH best role
before i sing praises to psh id like to talk about things i didn't like.
episodes endings... you can pull of cliffhanger once or twice but really i just stopped caring in last few episodes. like i know they will be alright, they always were, so whats the point?
the beginning was great. sure, the first scene in hell was mid and too fast but overall? great start. i really enjoyed first three cases, the fourth one was forgettable (i totally forgot who that girl that gabriel cured and her mother was) but i guess its bc of lady cop's case.
when it comes to the paimon episodes, im really glad jusititia was herself even without powers. she didnt need daon come and save her, she was still badass herself. also her gaining human emotions was well executed, didn't feel forced.
like i just really really love psh in this role. i first watched her in heirs and it wasn't great, in memories of alahambra it was okay i guess but here? im on my knees, psh the woman you are. i feel like she always had it in herself but just didnt had the opportunity to shine.
there was something weird about kissing but honestly? i watch bls so they werent the worst ones that i saw. the rooftop kiss was awesome.
daon was great too, i dont really like that narrative ''ohh i was wronged so ill became a cop and punish bad guys'' bc we all know how the system works irl but i liked the actor. he was great in reflection of you and here too so ill let that pass. he was made for justitia and really sweet with lady cop and everyone else.
mando, gremory, gabriel and the residents were great too i just dont have too much to say about them. the family form hell was okay as villains but i don't care about them all that much.
the soundtrack, the shots, the costumes. again. really, really amazing.
idk how i feel about the ending yet. i like it but also not really. yeah, that scene in court was like a full cycle but what after justitia comes back to hell? will she live an eternity without daon? will he? or maybe they'll meet again in afterlife? like lucifer and chole form lucifer? justitia as a queen of hell (lucifer and bael are out of picture obvi) and daon as her king consort? it'd nice
anyway it was great drama, had some not that great moments but i can still call it one of the best in 2024 with light heart.

Addictive show
Great show, very original. Every episode is exhilarating, not a dull moment. Usually k-dramas get a bit boring towards the end but this one has kept the momentum. One hour passes and I don’t even realise it. I wish it had more episodes and I can only hope for a season 2.Great acting and intriguing characters, good music and the two original songs are great.
Best drama of 2024 for me.

Hype , Suspense , comedy and more
Kang Bit-na, a judge who is possessed by a demon from Hell named Justitia, meets detective Han Da-on, who is more human than anyone else in a reality that is more hellish than hell. Justitia is sent by Bael to earth as a punishment for her wrong judgement and is tasked to kill 10 murderers who aren't remorseful in a year, along with her assistant, Valak. If she can't accomplish the punishment then she will die.Kang Bit-Na (Park Shin-Hye) is an elite judge with a beautiful appearance, but she is actually a demon. Her mission as a demon is to kill evil people who lead other people to their deaths and don't reflect on their actions and are unforgiven for their actions. She sends these people to Hell afterwards. One day, Kang Bit-Na meets Han Da-On (Kim Jae-Young). He has a friendly and gentle personality. As a detective, his mind is sharp and he has a keen sense of observation. But, internally, he carries pain in his mind that nobody knows about. After Kang Bit-Na and Han Da-On meet with each other, their lives change greatly
The teaser after the end of each episode increase my interest to watch the next episode. This drama is must watch .
