The tone of the shows are similar. There are themes of violence, strong female characters and found family in both.

1. Both stories have characters with special abilities who need to hide them from the layman to protect themselves.

Both main characters of these dramas have similar abilities, especially the FL of Family Matters and the ML of Awaken. Those two characters can manipulate someone's mind yet they also have a difference. Anyhow, both dramas interestingly awaken your curiosity about their family matters.

Family Matters (2024 K-drama) and House of Ninjas (2024 J-drama) both explore the theme of hidden identities within unconventional families navigating extraordinary circumstances. In Family Matters, a group of individuals with special powers pose as a fake family to evade a criminal organization, while in House of Ninjas, a real family of retired ninjas is forced back into action to combat a looming threat. Despite differences in setting and style, both series blend action, comedy, suspense, and emotion, focusing on the duality of living normal lives while hiding dangerous secrets, all while highlighting the evolving dynamics and emotional bonds within the family unit.

The tones of the shows are similar. There are violent themes and powerful female characters.Both stories feature persons with outstanding abilities who must keep them hidden from other people in order to defend themselves

The reason why I chose family matters is because of the black comedy, people die, they get hurt but they don’t really make a big deal out of it, they make it funny, so yeah, the gore, the comedy, the team work that’s how it is similar to newtopia

Both are action dark comedies with gloomy family Addams like character.

Both have some supernatural elements without them being the centric to the story. Both feature a special ultrasecret evil assassin training corporation.
Both feature badass high school kids prominently.

However, contrary to Family Matters, Alice, the final weapon doesn't prominently feature family dynamics

They are both verry gore and have a strong female lead. They both are centered around a big organization that locked up kids, looking for the one who escaped . They are somewhat the same show with one where the girl escaped with her friends and formed a family and the other escaped alone and fighting with herself. I really think they could be in the same universe.

They basically could be in the same universe. In this the female lead has just escaped from where they were confining her and she is just figuring out the outside world. She is still young and other members are after her.

The tyrant is filled with assassins, a badass female lead with special abilities and have a great actor cast. It's only a few episodes , but it's as gore and bloody as this one. Verry enjoyable.

A found family, triller and it's mysterious power centered. Buy one is gore and the other is more light. But I'd you enjoyed one you should enjoy the other.

This is also a family with superpowers hiding their abilities. It’s comedy, drama, romance. Good for the whole family.

They are a little bloody and have some mysterious drama to it. They both have psycho and an interesting story

The tones of the show are similar. It’s part thriller and part comedy. They both have themes of revenge and found family. Both dramas are so much fun. Highly recommend both.
