Kiseki: Chapter 2 — When Life Is Messy, Not Romantic
I watched the whole thing. And no, it is not as bad as people say. What surprised me most is how harsh the reception has been, especially from people who clearly didn’t even finish the six episodes. This drama is not perfect, but it is far from the disaster some describe. It simply refuses to be what many viewers expect a BL to be.A Story About Direction, Not Romance
This is not a love story. It is a story about finding yourself when you feel stuck. BeBoy and Pi are best friends who haven’t seen each other in years. BeBoy is afraid to leave his comfort zone in Thailand. Pi lives in Japan, without real ambition, just drifting. Their reunion is full of tension, arguments, and unspoken frustration. Their trip through Japan becomes a mirror of their own confusion.
Two Twins, Two Ways of Living
They meet twins Pan and Plai. Pan, a singer-songwriter, is quiet, guarded, afraid of being hurt. Plai, more extroverted, is running from a painful breakup. He loves travel, but admits it can be lonely and frightening. Pan and Pi slowly grow closer, but keep their relationship undefined, because neither is ready to commit. BeBoy and Plai share a brief physical connection, knowing it cannot become more. Plai is still emotionally tied to his past, and BeBoy knows they live in different worlds. This is not betrayal. It is honesty.
What This Drama Is Really Saying
It shows something rare in BL:
- That physical intimacy does not always mean love.
- That connection can exist without a promise of forever.
- That being single can still mean being sincere.
These characters are not students. They are not rich. They do not live in fantasy. They live in the present. And sometimes, that means letting go.
Why the Ratings Feel Unfair
Many viewers seem angry because the ending is not “happy.” But why must every story end the same way? This drama chooses realism over comfort. And that choice clearly unsettled people. But different does not mean bad.
About the Cast
The series leans into physicality, but all the actors are in their 30s and fully aware of what they are portraying. This is not exploitation, it is a creative choice aligned with the story’s raw, adult tone. It is also interesting that they use their real names, and that several of them have worked together before (Venus in the Sky, Beyond the Star). There is a sense of familiarity that adds to the natural chemistry.
Final Thought
Kiseki: Chapter 2 is not a fantasy. It is about people who don’t yet know where they belong and who are brave enough to admit it. Watch it in one go. It flows like a single emotional journey. Sometimes, that makes all the difference.

What are we doing here?
Tbh I can't recall ever being this bored watching the first episode of any drama. This episode was supposed to draw us in and make us excited for the rest of the show. This review doesn't contain any spoilers, but honestly, there's nothing to spoil because nothing happened. This was so incredibly boring I cannot express it enough. I try to give everything a fair first shot. I never change a new song before I've gotten through the first minute and I usually never fast-forward through a drama on the first episode. I think I got to 13 mins before I put it on 2x speed. The drama only has 6 episodes! There is no reason for the plot to be moving this slowly. This was such a buzz kill. And again this has nothing to do with the Taiwanese BL Kiseki Dear to Me, but I wished so bad that any of the quality of that show rubbed off on this similarly titled show. I won't drop it because I'm a masochist. I already made it through the first episode, however, I will probably not continue to watch it in real-time and wait to binge it at the end.Was this review helpful to you?

Yawn generator, its main feature
Again hugging a tree that draws attention because "my mom said." Again talking about photography. Again, agreeing on whether to let the two strange boys into the house when they are left without a hotel reservation. Once again imposing rules of coexistence. Again speaking badly about a person without realizing that they are listening to us. Once again the overwhelming fatigue of everyday life. Again the same formulas seen in… so many other times. But we have already seen this, in other scenarios and with other actors. Where did the magic and surprise travel? Where did they hide? Or are they scarce and exhausted goods?I am not given to expressing opinions, much less in the form of a review, when it comes to a series, film or short film that does not catch my attention, but with 'Kiseki Chapter 2', the BL drama from 9NAA, a romantic comedy between four handsome men set in Tokyo, the Japanese capital, made me break with self-imposed things.
With this premise, to which is added the fact that it is a series with the protagonist of P Ekkapop Tata (P), Nanthakorn Sringenthap (Beboy), Jirachot Chotticomporn (Pan) and Chattrin Chotticomporn (Plai), the last three protagonists of 'Beyond the Star', I was curious.
I like the idea of a romantic story (I prefer this term to the usual gay love or homosexual love or simply BL) that takes place "far from home" for the protagonists. But I immediately objected to being from the same company that produced 'Check Out' and 'My Blessing', so I was suspicious from the first moment.
And since I learned about the synopsis about a romance between Thai boys visiting Japan, it reminded me of that classic film that is 'Present Perfect (แค่นี้ก็ดีแล้ว / Khae ni k dilaew), from 2012 and its sequel , 'Present Still Perfect' (แค่นี้ก็ดีแล้ว Part 2 / Khae ni k dilaew Part 2), 2020.
As in the aforementioned films, the boys meet, accidentally, during a trip to Japan. And they will only have the few days (in this case 6) that their stay in the Land of the Rising Sun lasts for P and Beboy to meet and fall in love with the twins Pan and Plai, in that same order.
As they get closer and learn a lot about the meaning of life, their time in the country they visit runs out. Furthermore, one of them, P, has lived there for some years. What will happen then when they have to separate? Will they stay together? Will their feelings survive or will they only be content to store beautiful memories in their hearts?
I said to myself: "If it can be 1 percent as good as the films of Thai director Aaam Soisa-ngim, the series is worth watching. If the four protagonists can be 1 percent as good in their roles as they were Kritsana Maroukasonti as Oat and Tonawanik Adisorn as Toey in the aforementioned films, it would be worth seeing."
But soon my cry of euphoria was drowned in discouragement and dissatisfaction. Yes, we are faced with a BL audiovisual that escapes from those stories focused on teenage or school romance, which is not bad at all, but they can get tiring.
So far, and I doubt it will happen, there is no emotional and visual pleasure. I also don't think I managed to awaken other kinds of deeper feelings and emotions in the audience, despite being able to touch on topics such as self-acceptance, discovery, liberation and the way of seeing life. I don't think I'll find these and other themes mixed with deep messages in the plot.
Contrary to 'Present Perfect' and its sequel, it will not touch the human sensibilities of the spectators, nor will it transport us to a confusing journey full of questions about the essence of oneself, despite having, I do not doubt it either. , a very sweet ending. How I would like to be wrong!
Of course, 'Kiseki Chapter 2' will amaze us with the choice of landscapes, especially monuments, temples and sculptures in parks and streets, that we can enjoy in each scene. Hopefully these will contribute scenarios to the story in accordance with the moment of the series, the message or the emotions transmitted by its characters.
One more story of "strangers to friends" and... yes, I would like romance to break out between the characters, but with a solid script and good performances.
Neither the story nor the characters capture me. Between a lot of boredom and little fun, both in the characters and visually, I would like it, why not? May the instant friendship of the four boys become ever deeper into love.
Something positive is that so far nothing indicates to us that the boys are homosexual. So, it could be a good time for them to discover each other and get to know their sexualities. This could be a strong point of the series. Also, being able to enjoy the atmosphere of Tokyo, especially in the fall season.
The series is a slow story and on many occasions very boring. Everything is told without any emotion. The dialogues sometimes turn out to be absurd and unreal conversations where the thread of who is saying what is often lost. The four characters become unbearable and you cannot empathize with any of them.
No, on this occasion it is not boredom and daily problems that are the worst enemies for the couple's subsistence, as in other dramatized ones, but rather it is the couple's own subsistence, actually two, that promotes boredom without reaching solve everyday problems.
Giving a good rating to 'Kiseki Chapter 2' seems to me to be underestimating many very superior romantic dramas that have been ignored for years.

Good laugh and VERY nice Naughty scenes ??
Not the greatest with the acting, but not to terrible really, I've seen worst in other things I have watched.I thought it could have been a bit longer, just 6 eps does not give you much to really go with, so it being that short I think hurt this some, but it was funny, at least for me, I don't think it was meant to be a comedy, but for me it was.
I saw that the tags read Full Nudity, and Prolonged Nudity, now what I thought this meant and what it really was are two different things... to me full nudity means just that, not that the take off all there closes and we see just the butts, but is not full in my mind, but hey it wasn't bad at all, the sex scenes were more then I expected.... Damn!
Besides the shortness of this series and the acting not being all that great, it wasn't a bad watch, now it's not something to re-watch but it's a funny short series to watch, just don't have high expectations with this one.
The best parts are P with his personality, I know I'm weird for thinking that. 😄 BeBoy just being BeBoy lol and the naughty scenes... 🥰😊

Hilarious, Fun & Cute
The acting for me was 10/10, & the plot was nice too, no wild plot holes or twist like most dramas tend to do nowadays. It was a realistic romance, natural flow w/ chemistry & I like how they didn’t dragggggg it on. Their Japanese was good too! The ending, to me, was open for possibilities… They always visit again, I loved it.Was this review helpful to you?
I enjoyed this
Everyone has different views when it comes to cinema. I genuinely enjoyed this. Yes the NSFW scenes were explicit but it did not take away from the story. The story by itself was very strong. What I really like about this drama and other ones like this.. the characters really get to know each other first before you get to the explicit stuff. I think that's what a lot of other reviewers are missing. Their focusing on the NSFW scenes and not the fact that the characters actually got to know each other before and after. Which really ties into how the drama ends. Even without the NSFW scenes it's still a good drama. It does start off a little slow with the pacing but it picks up around episode 3. Don't just go off reviews, that includes mine, give it a chance and see how you enjoy it. Fair warning, the ending is beautifully bittersweet (in my opinion)Was this review helpful to you?
Skip it
God that was bad… I mean if you’re into NC scenes go for it! If you want some good acting and good plot, forget it. 😅But hey, pretty scenery 🥲
And WTF they just made actual twins lick each other niples 😭
That’s a big no for me 🙅♀️
I shouldn’t have watched it just after Unknown 🙈😂

Me senti vazia assistindo isso
Eu me senti vazia assistindo Kiseki Chapter.
