Must-Watch BL Series! Highly recommend??
If you’re debating whether to start this drama, let me make it simple—just do it! From the very first episode, I was hooked, and the excitement never faded throughout the series. This is one of those rare gems where the storyline, acting, and chemistry all come together to create pure magic on screen. The two male leads were phenomenal. Their chemistry was electric, and you could feel the emotions radiating from every scene they shared. Their acting felt so genuine and natural that it pulled me even deeper into the story. Watching them interact was such a treat; they complemented each other perfectly. It’s clear they poured their hearts into these roles, and I’m already hoping to see them reunite in another BL drama soon. Their performance here has set a high bar for the genre! 🥰
Another standout character was Grandma. She was such an iconic presence in this show! Her moments brought a perfect mix of humor, wisdom, and heart. I found myself looking forward to her scenes just as much as the leads. She added so much charm and depth to the series. 😆
The plot itself was engaging from start to finish. It balanced emotional moments, romance, and lightheartedness beautifully. The pacing was just right, keeping me invested the entire time without ever dragging.
In short, this is a drama you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re a fan of BL dramas or new to the genre, this one will captivate you with its heartfelt story, incredible performances, and unforgettable characters. Trust me, you’ll be thinking about it long after the credits roll! 🌟

Joker is giving everything and we love it
I love everything about Joke. Like literally everything. His voice, the way he speaks so softly to Jack, his face, his tattoos, his smirks. And the way he kisses? This man is H-U-N-G-R-Y. I can't say enough about how complex and fine this character felt to me.But sadly this is mostly everything that I liked. The rest is... Just weird. Things and especially change of feelings happen way too fast, some directing choices just flabbergasted me and Boss character... Don't let me started. It seemed like he is trying to be the villain we deserve so much but his portrayer looked more like drama kid with mental issues who definitely is not the main character but tries hard to be one. Damn, I'm sort of disappointed but overall I think that the chemistry and story are good enough but let's not kid ourselves Joker is the light of this show! I would recommend watching this just for him.

Storyline
I'm in love with this series, its a rom com series. You can see comedy, action, and a bit of romance.
What's important is storyline , i really love how every character has their story . The suffering and struggle everyone has faced shows a real life lessons.
Yinwar did so much great in this series, they played their character perfectly. Both were so handsome in their roles , music was best and action scenes were great.
I'm happy that I watch the series.
Thanks YINWAR for this masterpiece.

Really? Why don't you like it?
Yes, its not an happy ending. So many people would be disappointed about that, and I was one of them. But that doesn't mean it's a bad ending either. I also was wandering what happened to the bad guy, but at the end, he was even worse than expected. But it is what it is. The guys who have done bad choices in life finish rarely with an happy ending. They both did.You hope until the last minute that they will met again, but "Be Happy" showed us that he is really gone. Many things showed us it was gonna be a bad ending, because off all the clues around. First, the dealing with a shrine, then all the Chinese superstitions and the four Horsemans. Death is always around, so we had everything showing us that they were doomed.
But we had hope, like the characters, and its what made the story interesting. We felt the emotions: sadness, hope, love, forgiveness, understanding, lost,...
I had to watch it a second time to truly understand it, and the movie final helped putting everything together.

Personally I think it was very good because the actors who play the roles of Jack and Joker played them very well and knew how to handle the emotions that are transmitted in the series, however I think I would have liked to have more development of the love story and not so much on how to solve the past but as the story of the past I think it could have been better the story of the love of the two of them. Also I know they said that the plot is not focused on the love of the two of them but it's a romance series so it has to be focused on their love and not so much what is the plot of the series and look I would have liked much more if they had played more with guns and type of violence style of having guns and in this one there was more mild violence.

Sweet and frustrating slow burn
I don’t even know where to start or even HOW to start. This series was so frustratingly good that I was crying, aweing, and punching my wall all at the same time.Things I Liked:
Casting - The casting was really perfect for every single character. I feel like you couldnt switch a single one of the actors for one another and have as great of a show as this. My biggest thumbs up for casting is YinWar. I was a little hesitant to watch this show bc I'd never watched anything with them, but now I absolutely need to see more of them. Their chemistry is actually insane and their acting may be even better, which leads me into my next point...
Acting - When I say I could FEEL the characters' emotions, I genuinely mean it, and I certainly don't say that lightly. If Joke felt upset, I could feel it in my gut, making me want to cry myself. If Jack was worried, so was I in the strongest way possible. And please don't even get me started on the mc's kissing scenes, like I could feel their desperation for each other, I was actually going insane during these scenes.
Full circle - My biggest pet peeve is when a story leaves me with questions or doesn't wrap up loose ends, yet this story didn’t at all. Everything was wrapped up in a tight little bow, even down to a character 5 years in the past.
Things I Didn't Like:
SLOW BURN - When people say this series has slow burn, do not take it lightly at all. I'm not necessarily gonna say I didn’t like the series for this reason, but it was certaintly annoying, especially because it really hit mid way through after the mc had made good progress.
(SPOILER) Weird Love Triangle - This was the most annoying thing in this show and I will stand by that. I wanted to hit everybody, especially Jack and Rosé because 1, stop making decisions for other people and 2, get the freaking hint. Rosé was genuinely such a sweet girl, but god, she was obnoxious for a good 5 or 6 episodes and Jack was just as obnoxious and lowkey rude during those episodes. Was it necessary? I suppose, but it still had my blood boiling, which I guess may have been the point.
Miscommunication - My absolute 2nd biggest pet peeve. If Jack and Joke had talked about stuff before actually doing it, half the events in the show would've never happened, which obviously would've ruined the point of the show, but still, it was aggravating. Y'all are grown adults making promises that you can't talk out to actually keep.
Overall: As much as I complained about plot ideas, I think they rounded out the show and made Jack and Joke's moments together all the more special. I didn't ever think that there was a scene that was unnecessary because they all built up to build true perfection. I'm not sure if another bl will be able to top this one, but I will certianly look forward to more Yinwar series

LMAO , l watched J&J when it was still airing but only 10 episodes where out that time, l expected a typical Thai BL , come to find out that it's actually amazing, like it's so unpredictable, l binge watched it in one day🤡that day l slept at about 1 AM😁that's how good it is, maybe it's because I'm a big fan of slow burn that's why l loved this?🤔l don't know , but if you're into slow burns , you need to give it a tryWas this review helpful to you?

All about the film
I watched this series during a time when I was facing financial struggles, so I could completely relate to the debtor-creditor dynamics and the tension, helplessness, and anxiety portrayed in the story. It’s such a raw and realistic show (from financial pressures to relationships and societal expectations), yet it masterfully balances that with humor—thanks to the witty interactions among the cast. The action scenes? Stunningly shot and never over-reliant on flashy camera angles. The soundtrack? Spot-on and perfectly placed. The acting? I no need to say anything, YinWar has always been known for their natural acting style, and they absolutely nailed their roles in this series. They fit their characters like a glove! In fact, the entire cast deserves a standing ovation—there isn’t a single acting that feels off. Everyone brought their A-game, delivering heartfelt and compelling portrayals across the board. 👏
And these are two things I *absolutely loved* about this series:
1. The Cinematography—it’s GORGEOUS! Seriously, the colors and camera work are the most beautiful and authentic I’ve ever seen in a Y Series.
2. The Respect for Women—unlike other Y Series that often make female characters the antagonists, JacknJoker series portrays them as smart, beautiful, sophisticated, and funny. As a woman, I genuinely felt seen and appreciated through the way this series celebrated its female characters.
That said, there’s one tiny minus: the plot twist. I get that YinWar wanted to wrap things up with a light, fun, and feel-good ending to balance out the darker moments, but it felt a bit rushed and left me slightly unsatisfied.
All in all, this is a series I’ll definitely rewatch multiple times—it’s that good!

The first thai bl in years I have been invested in
Yinwar is single-handedly the industry we all cheered😞 If you're like me and read reviews for highly praised thai bls or start bls that are promoted all over your fyp and drop pretty much all of them cause the plot doesn't engage you or the acting/writing is just too far gone from your standards of the amount of cringe or disrespect you'll allow as viewer, YOU AIN'T GOTTA WORRY NO MORE. Know I say this without previously being a fan of Yinwar or knowing their past projects but they deliver in every scene. The plot is brilliantly entertaining and carefully thought out arcs like the first three episodes is one arc, it's so simple but at the end of the day I need good writing along with representation. I am completely in love with War, his character is so charismatic and his eyes are so expressive.I love that in an angsty bottom. Yin completely sells me on Jack and his motives and morals, it's amazing to see moments where his persona breaks. Since I discovered thai bls a couple of years ago I watched a handful of good ones and have been disappointed time and time again I took a break and Jack and Joker pulled me back in. All I can wish for is that you give this show a chance like I did cause I can guarantee you'll stick around. My only regret is watching this show when three episodes so I have to keep coming back every week lol. I fear I must watch their other bls to sustain myself. I am so excited for what comes next. Was this review helpful to you?
Overrated and overhyped
This has been on my watchlist, then i saw 8.8/10 and I was like oh wow, I’m in for a good time but alas it wasn’t so.Ep1 was ok enough even though I wasn’t exactly seating at the edge of my seat in anticipation of the next episode but I’m like maybe it gets better since it has such high rating, half way through ep2 and I’m asking myself why I’m I here? 55mins into ep2 and the bank scene I was like yeah I’m out, I’m like is this for real, is this supposed to be a real bank?
I’m sorry to anyone who likes this but this is definitely not a quality series and it’s honestly bad, the background characters are just lifeless and screaming I am just an extra so loud, my eardrums hurt so much.
This very below average drama being rated so high is mind boggling, as someone who reads a fair amount of reviews here, I’m used to a lot of reviewers here enjoying mediocrity and some would rate highly anything their faves are in whether good or bad, I have long giving up hope of having the majority of the reviews and ratings here from people with working brain cells, most people who write reviews here have below average level intelligence, so when I continue seeing ratings like this, the hope that is dead gets even buried deeper.
This is going in the dropped bin
I obviously do not recommend

Best BL show ever
2024 was really our year. I watched so many good BLs. But this one was true to its title and it really stole my heart! It was my first YinWar show. Now I just want to watch every single work of them and more of them in the future. This show was TOO good to be true like I paused at some points and was like “wow… that’s ACTUALLY good, a masterpiece”. Their chemistry was chemistrying.I also wanna talk about the side characters: they were EVERYTHING! My new found family!
I must admit if you’re planning on watching this prepare to cry, prepare for real PAIN! At a point I was pulling my hair from how painful things were going and I was begging for a happy moment. But I swear it gets better. It’s really perfect and worth watching. 10000% worth it. I’m gonna miss all of them so much!
If a show makes me genuinely cry or genuinely laugh then it’s so good for me and this show did both. (plus some screaming and cursing and blushing and yelling and awwwwwwing)
Oh and the character development of literally every character was top tier!
Can’t wait for the special episode
Masterpiece
10000/10

Best BL ever made. Must watch!!
Everything was beautiful. Chemistry, storyline, acting, fight scenes.Best BL created so far, definitely recommend watching.
Yinwar did amazing once again, and I am so glad they got to act in such a well made storyline. I don't think anybody could have pulled it off as well as they did. I knew this series was going to be good, but didn't expect it to be this phenomenal. You have to watch it if you haven't already!!
