Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart!

YinWar did it again!!

This series is an absolute gem that somehow managed to mesmerize me in ep1 and keep the momentum up untill episode 12. There are so many good things in this series, I don't even know where to start for this.

So I want to start by really complimenting Yin and War's acting. Actually everybody did an amazing job, but u can't stress enough how well the main protagonists did. War is an extremely talented guy (is there anything that man can't do?). Joke/Joker are the same person, but feels like two different characters. And If it wasn't enough, Joker keeps changing his appearance and plays different role himself. War really had to play so many different character and he slayed ALL of them, from the guilty Joke to the makeup artist. He really showcased a plethora of character and personalities with his acting and it made me weirdly proud to see him getting his deserved kudos. Yin as well did an impressive job at his role, specially giving the complexity of his emotions and the numerous betrayal he goes through in the series. Plus, very out of context, but I'm so surpries on how he managed to look two completely different age just by having a different hairstyle like damn, he could still play the highschooler if he wanted.

The story is extremely intresting and it keeps u hooked for its entirety. I live for the fact that never painted a character completely white or completely black. All of them have their goods and their bads (even the protagonists) and no bads are ever romanticized. I especially loved how they treated Tattoo character. He felt so human. He lives in poverty and he would take every opportunity to actually come out of the situation. I found his betraying to be extremely understandable, and human, which is the thing I loved so much of this series. Those are all humans.

If there is one thing that I didn't understand about the plot is why tf would boss (imma call him like this idgaf about his name) actually believe that a ring would somehow change the balances of the elite of Thailand, like I wish they would have given a better reasoning for it.. cause it felt like the easiest plot device they could find to fck things up against between Jack and Joker without actually entering in detail of everything and without trying to make sense.

Plus, one thing I actually strongly wished for was one more episode. Since the story its not only a romance but also a crime/Thriller a lot of the time is taken by all the actions. I just wish they would have given us some more romance and cute moments between the protagonists. I finished the series literally CRAVING for more. And even like the seconf "couple" .. it was left wandering in still angry. Fortunately there is a special episode coming out and it seems like it will answer my desired and give a proper closure to the story.

The series is a perfect balance between humor, romance and crime. It's a Rollercoaster of emotion (get ready to cry) and it's really something everyone should watch

BEST Thai BL show EVER!!!!!!! Stop what you are doing and go WATCH IT!

Let me tell you, I loveeee this show!!!!!! This show gave me Squid game, Alice in Borderland vibes, and I ADORE it! It is very different from the generic college students drama love stories that thai bl shows tend to overuse. I have watched over dozens of Thai bl dramas, but this show is literally at the top of my list. There are so many Thai bl dramas that I thought I loved before, but after watching this show, none of them can compare. Now that I have finished the show Jack and Jocker, I am in a slump. Literally, every other show now seems boring to me cause Jack and Jocker has elevated my standard so highly.

Mind you, that was my first introduction to Yin and War. Their acting is so good. War's facial expression is sooo good. when he is happy, I'm happy; when he is sad, I'm sad; when he is hurt, I am hurt. His acting feels so natural that I keep forgetting he is an actor. I've watched actors from countless different dramas, but his acting is literally all the way at the top. This guy was made for acting. I loved the characters in this show. This show was all about redemption. Even the evil boss at the end was given a shot at redemption, because he felt remorseful, and shameful, and was given a life outside of jail with the opportunity to start anew.

Jack and Joke's relationship reminds me of this tiktok song "I'll let the world burn, I'll let the world burn for you" by Chris Grey, cause joke could have done ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for jack. He loves hardddd and selflessly. He put jack first and this is shown even during their sex scene, Joke wants to be on top to be the one to pleasure Jack. Jack had to turn over him on the bed a few times and had to indirectly ask him to stop and let him be the one to be in charge for him to let Jack pleasure him first😂. Joke is such a devoted, caring, and loving partner, I want my man to be like him tbh😂. It's sad that his dad thought he was a bad kid, when in reality he has so much heart. The way he cared for Jack's grandma was so wholesome. He was at her bedside every day, more than Jack, her own grandkid, ever was. He swallowed his pride to ask help to his estranged dad for her. This man is such a husband material. I heard a special episode of the show is dropping sometime this year, I can't wait.

I've watched slow burn before but this show is the only show where I was dyingggg for them to hold each other and kiss each other. The tension was electrifying. I have a very short span attention and most of the time in thai dramas I tend to skip some parts in the episodes, especially when it comes to side characters I don't care about. However, this is one of the RARE shows that was able to keep me sat and hooked. I watched EVERY episode without skipping and felt even sad that an episode had to end. Now that the show is over I don't know what to do with my life anymore.

This is the first time I ever gave a show a 10 out of 10. Just to show you how great this show is.

Funny and romantic - best BL I've watched

Oh my god this series>>>>>
It's definitely my favourite (and first) BL of all time. Like, there's nothing better out there.
First of all, the storyline was very solid and very interesting. I just kept watching and was very engaged in the story and in which direction it would go. This series explores very interesting themes, for example, criticism of the rich and life in poor districts.
The characters were very well made and well developed. Especially the main characters were very likeable and consistent. Actors who played the main roles, Yin and War, were absolutely amazing. Especially in the emotional scenes!!
Now let's get to the best part - the main couple. Their chemistry is fucking unmatched. I have never ever seen something like this before - these actors were made to play lovers. I'm sure they weren't just acting in some scenes...
I literally still think about Jack and Joker, their relationship was everything - the slowburn, the tension, the angst???
Unfortunately I do have some criticism for the show, although most of the problems exist due to low budget. The goofy sound effects were unnecessary. The free, non copyright music, was...well it was. If they had higher budget they would made the fuck out of this show. But honestly, the writing compensates for technical and editing problems.
Even though some scenes were very cringe...but I forgive them.
Also, the product placement was so fucking funny 😭😭 Garnier cream was everywhere.
Overall, this series is awesome. It has everything you need in a love story and the best part (to me) was that the romance isn't the main focus of the show, which makes it more special to watch. It's not perfect, but I give it 5 stars because I have free will and I had the best time ever watching this show. If you won't give this a try, you're definitely missing out!!

The best BL I've ever seen, kids. Like, in all the time I've been watching BL, I've never liked any as much as this one. The acting was like, sorry, but I really didn't expect this. I'm used to the BL I watch and this was just something completely different. As soon as they announced that this series was coming out, I saved it and waited for the whole thing to come out because the poster and the description itself were really interesting. And honestly? I don't regret watching it because it's really great. It's beautiful. I had tears in my eyes sometimes from both the depressing and funny scenes and I completely fell in love with the characters in it

So if you're into BL, this series is exactly for you and I believe it deserves a lot more recognition than it has. So I definitely recommend it and I bow to the actors and everyone who participated in this series because it's really great!!

I dont understand any of the bad reviews because this show was amazing

This show is honestly so well done. Especially considering everything was done and put together by Yin and War themselves. If you are a person who is just looking for a romance story and nothing else then its better to stick to another bl genre. This is more of an action show with some romance in it. Think along more similar lines to Kinnporsche in terms of actions scenes.

Violence and fight scenes should not be a determining factor on if someone tells people if the show is good or not because it is subjective. I personally thought the fight scenes were so much fun. As well as all of the heists.

Please give it a chance past the first 2 episodes as, like many shows, these are used to introduce the characters and get the plot moving.

War is an EXCEPTIONAL actor. Thats coming from someone who is also a tv actor for many years. His ability to pull off so many different "characters" in one show is amazing, as well has his ability to actually react to what is happening around him and feel it vs just reacting for his next line.

This show is soo much fun to watch and the characters are loveable. There is character development between all of them. Joker is a character that many can relate to as someone who thinks they are doing the right thing but it always seems to be a burden. Jack is someone people can relate to as a good hearted person who just wants the best for everyone at the expense of themselves.

Some reviews are saying that the script is bad but I think honestly it is so good. It has action, emotion, twists and turns, and they throw in a little comedy making the characters even more loveable.

I honestly am praying for a season 2 as it was left on a little bit of a cliff hanger.

For people wondering; the special episode is very hard to watch if you end up loving the characters. So guard your heart, fair warning. However, if you do watch it, make sure to watch ALL THE WAY TO THE END, after the credits.

YinWar does it again!

I'll start this off by saying I may be a bit biased as I absolutely LOVE YinWar but I mean who doesn't...

I really loved this drama, the story was fun and the cast hit it out of the park! There's no denying YinWar has amazing chemistry, but all the side characters and pairings were amazing as well (I will still be holding out hope for a S2 with Tattoo and Aran). I didn't watch this as it was airing unfortunately just at the end of its runtime but I literally binged the whole season in a day because I got so sucked in every episode.

I can't wait to see more projects from these actors, I had such a fun time watching this series!!

Interesting plot, Like both leads

Jack and Joker start really well. Unlike other bl, this has a decent story. All the actors did pretty well. Both the lead actors have a good chemistry. Jack, Joker, and Arun's appearance was most likable.

Still, many things after the middle where things not making any sense. In the last episode when Boss loses his s**t was so messed up, why does he want to play a game, it makes him look like a fool, he was greedy but come on having a ring that can possess any power is so unrealistic, he was just a fool. His guards acting was so bad, the fighting scenes looked fine but in the end, they did very bad acting, I feel like watching any old movie, where the villain ties people just for fun!

In the 11 episod someone take their own life because of boss but he got redumption but does someone like him deserves it?

AHHHHHHHHH this was a ride it was a treat it I loved it SO MUCH.

Acting:

I was pretty darn blown away in every way. I LOVE A GOOD CRIER. You HAVE to be a good crier to get me to really appreciate a performance, and these boys delivered me my meal fr. I enjoyed every minute. The silliness, the cockiness, the anger, the pain, the sadness, the love. Just so goooooood. Barely any notes to be made here.

Writing:

Well, it’s a drama, so I’m giving it some liberties because like I enjoyed it overall. But there were some interesting choices here. I understand that we need to move the plot forward and all, but like… I’d much rather go into medical debt than be indebted with my life and money to Boss fr… But okay, let’s go with it. I still loved this shit tbh. So dramatic, so wild, so fun!

Chemistry/Romance/Kissing:

Chemistry was solid all the way through. From strangers to flirtatious heartfelt moments together, to enemies, to friends, to lovers, to a heartbroken pair, to lovers. SO GOOOOOD. This was alvoely romance even if it was a background plot to the story. SO GOOD. The kissing was good, fittingly frantic and passionate. Good work, good work.

NC Scene:

Wasn’t sure if we would get one in this series, but it was lovely. I LIVE for a “I need you now, we’ve been waiting for this for sooooo long” moment and they DELIVERED. So good, WELL DONE. Loved everything about it. 10/10 and VERY fitting to the story.

Music/SFX:

Music was pretty damn good throughout. The dubstep was jarring and fitting at the same time, somehow. Some corny drama music, but that’s alright.

I LOVED THIS SO MUCH I don’t know why I have put this off for so long. It had it’s questionable moments, so I want to give it a 9-9.5, but I loved it so much it’s gonna get thatf 10 overall no matter what. FIGHT ME.

Well, this is just my opinion, and I know everyone has their own, so let it be—but Jack and Joker: U Steal My Heart is officially my number one BL series for 2024! 🔥 They absolutely nailed everything—the storyline, the actors, and even the fact that they put their own money into producing it. That dedication alone speaks volumes!

I’ve been watching BL since 2014, and my very first BL was Love Sick: The Series. But I became a true BL fan after watching 2 Moons with Bas Suradet, and now, with Jack and Joker, Yin and War have completely won me over. This is the first time I truly looked up to them, and I’ll support them with all I have! 💖

What makes them even more special is that they are self-produced actors—they have their own company, and no one is managing them. That kind of independence and dedication is rare in the industry, and I truly admire them for it. I really hope I get to see more #YinWar series, movies, or any projects they are in because they deserve all the love and success. There are so many people cheering for them (including the bashers—LOL).
