Very Thai Romcom BL
Maybe I am the only one in MDL who enjoyed watching Hidden Agenda. It was nothing extra ordinary in terms of storyline. It was simple, cute, romantic, something that can make you feel giddy. I would say for first time BL watchers this might be a good start. Now why I liked Hidden Agenda so much is definitely JoongDunk. They have such great on screen [and Off screen] chemistry that all their dialogues felt so natural. I enjoyed it a lot. Sure the ending part was quite unreasonable for Zo to behave like that with Joke but other than that I really liked it.Was this review helpful to you?
At some point I didn't know if they will end u together or not
It's so rare to see a drama which makes me wonder whether the main couple will end up together. The characteristics of each of them were so profound. The story progression was great and every episode gave me anticipation of what is going to happen next because of the way the couples went on and off. I had a hard time trusting any of them. FirstKhao, as usual did a very good job with their acting. They felt so natural and the emotional scenes were perfectly made. JoongDunk killed their characters. They are the ones that kept me going. The level of acting they served in this is better than all their previous works. The scenes were not rushed, which I loved so much. I wish the story had more depth and showcased more about the sideline plot about rich people and their abuse and the social problems etc. because I expected they will focus more on that. All in all it was a great watch and the emotional scenes were done so well.

A great plot and acting but needed to be more intense and dark
You know when you see a drama, you like it, like the acting, storyline, cinematography but you feel like there's something missing that doesn't make it a 100? This is exactly what has happened with Revamp.I enjoyed the idea of the plot and the progression so much and this is coming from someone who is not a very big fan of fantasy and vampires to be specific so for me to not drop the series in the middle means it was well done. The characters had great development. The redemption arcs weren't well executed but I blame the lack of 2 more episodes. That comes to my next point of what could have made it better. It needed to be more intense. The beginning few episodes didn't show much and the story started picking the pace after the big secret was revealed. The screenwriter and director needed to keep in mind that this is different from normal romance genre and they needed to add more strong impressions of the idea of vampire in the story.
Cinematography wise this is chef kiss. Probably one of the finest GMMTV has ever put. They had good budget and it was used well. I hoped the little sounds on every movement were not added.
Acting wise this was mind blowing. The intense stares and emotional havocs that BounPrem brought in the series is amazing. Aun kept on surprising me. Stamp with his few experiences showcased great skill. Kapook and Kay as usual the masters of acting. The two actors who truly made me stunned were Mark and Barcode both showcasing great versatility, acting skills and embracing their characters to the core. A great cast indeed.
All in all the show was enjoyable. If it wasn't a vampire show it would have received more praise but as it is a vampire show it needed some more dimensions of fantasy, darkness and intensity. I appreciate the crew and cast for taking up a new challenge without prior experience to this genre. It wasn't bad at all and definitely worth trying.

One of the best crime mystery thriller I have ever seen
What a roller coaster ride with a great ending. Every moment of the drama kept me on my toes. Every episode I held my breath. The suspense done well, scenes directed beautifully and with top notch acting Hide & Sis is easily one of the best dramas I have ever seen. There was little to no plot holes. The plot went amazing, the motives of everything was rational enough. Every little details held a lot of meaning. They managed to keep the suspense till the very end. The plot is well made, maintained and very absorbing.
The cinematography and direction was splendid. Whoever color graded it did an amazing job. The stylists understood the assignment, loved the monochrome shades. All the scenes were directed so intensely I couldn't move my eyes from the screen even for a second.
The actresses, Janhae, Piploy, Jingjing, Ploypacg and Aye deserve a standing ovation for what they did with their roles. I always love watching Chimon in dark characters, he is made for this. Luke, Gawin, Mond, Guy and everyone else involved did justice to their characters.
What a well made drama. If you love crime mystery thriller this is what you need to watch.

The modern day socio economic classification portrayed in a way that will take your breath away
Portraying the struggles of the people who comes at the very last row of social classes, this movie is dark and would make you pause and think. The cinematography, direction and acting of this movie is definitely phenomenal. The twists and turns were unexpected. The way higher status people will dismiss that lower to them with something as insignificant as "bad smell" portrays how those with money are never concerned about anything but themselves. How easy it is for them kick out someone, find a replacement. How those who live desperate life would do anything to get the bare minimum while those with everything are never satisfied with anything. The gut wrenching progression of the plot definitely made it a movie made like never before. Was this review helpful to you?
KristSingto was enough to pull me in
It still feels like a fever dream to see KristSingto on screen as a couple. What a emotional ride it was filled with nostalgia. The 10 thousands SOTUS references made it even better. Story wise might not be my favorite but chemistry wise probably one of the best of this year. As a old BL watcher this was everything for me.The fact that even after so many years KristSingto managed to pull off such amazing chemistry is amusing. The scenes made me giggle and throw my feet. Every dialogue felt so natural, every gesture felt like they were Phi and Tam. That's how great their chemistry is. As expected from the veterans.
The last 2 episodes were definitely the highlight of the series. However some scenes felt a little rushed. The plot is not as intense as I expected. The plot twists could have been directed a little better. However the romance scenes were pure joy. They did so well and so did the director.
For all old school Thai drama / bl watcher this is a must.

What a ride
The movie kept my stakes high. The plot, the cinematography, the thrill, the action everything felt very optimized. It felt extremely realistic, which in movies like these, are hard to achieve. There was no unnecessary drama in between. The emotions felt perfectly right. I love the fact that even though there were main roles in the movie they blended so well with the side characters it never felt like the movie revolved around them. Which again made it extremely realistic. I love how they didn't make only one person become the "hero" of the movie, sacrificing themselves while saving other. They all tried their best, whether it was the crew operators at the train, the officers working in the headquarters, the crime department, rail engineers, even the politicians. All the people who worked in the rescue team did a fabulous job at portraying the Calamity, the hidden stress and the emotional devastation. It was truly mesmerizing as a viewer how they managed to capture everything so to the point.
I loved how they give so much attention to portraying the actual rescue operation instead of unnecessary drama so at the end when a little dramatic scene came up it perfectly mingled with the rest of the events. Over all it was thrill ride for me. If I ever go to Japan and get on a bullet train I might rewatch this movie just for the thirll.

Simple yet kept me hooked
The story is very simple and linear, with little to no plot twists. It is more of a character driven story. I was quite skeptical about watching it based on the reviews in MDL but decided to give it a shot. I enjoyed watching it. It is a show that will give you butterfly in the stomach. A perfect show to just relax and enjoy. That's it.The improvement in FortPeat's acting is worth mentioning. Fort as Mahasamut showcased his emotions so well compared to Fort as Prapai. Peat has been great always but he made me forget Sky completely with his turnover and made Tongrak a real person. I was watching the behind the scenes and kudos to the team for all the under water scenes they did. FortPeat did all the scenes by themselves and that alone made me love every scenes.
The character development in this story was good but it never felt like the highlight, which in my opinion should have been the case. Worth mentioning, Tongrak's character was very relatable to me, as someone who has went through something similar. His author self and the words that he spoke about being an author, as an author myself I could relate to them well.
The cinematography is beautiful. I loved all the scenes around the sea. I am glad I gave it a try.

Don't know what they did but it's not what I expected
I started watching it thinking it will again be a bunch of red flags and the soft boys falling in love etc. SO I came with a very low expectations however the drama surprised me alot. What I liked the most is probably how the characters are very typical of Thai BL but they seem very realistic unlike others. None of them were whole green forest or red sirens but they felt like human with charms and flaws. And thank gosh finally a BL where the characters actually study or work and not just scenes of them fooling around. Overall it was quite enjoyable to watch.I am not sure how MAME's novel is but I can definitely see a very well established character development. The plotline is nothing extra ordinary. Just two best friends falling for two best friends and the pursuing. But BoosNeoul and FOrtPeat acting and chemistry truly made this show enjoyable. I won't say it was 100% toxicity free but I think we can keep it with them especially by how Phayu and Pai does their best to make it up. I think it is not the character which were toxic but the situations shown. I think out of all of them Sky has the most defined back ground story.
The cinematography is amazing. They seem to have a good budget, I have to say the intimate scenes were wild and not just wild wild but realistic wild. I am not the type to enjoy these scenes very much but this one kept me hooked and became one of the highlights of the show for me.
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews when considering all things that we have seen in Thai BL this one is way better. I would suggest giving it a chance especially if you like bikes and their handsome rider

Far better than expected
This is definitely better than the shorter En Of Love version. I enjoyed watching the drama. The story developed well and didn't felt rushed. The characters were well fitted. I love how Mark wasn't a weakling and how Vee wasn't a complete arshole. They had their ups and downs but it felt very realistic. I liked the cinematography a lot. It has very relaxed tone in it. The way the scenes are filmed makes it pleasurable to watch. Yin and War are really great actors, they can take up just any role. The side characters also did a good job. There were elements of sadness, happiness, comedic reliefs. I think overall it was well balanced. I am not really a very big fan of this trope but this one in particular got me. There were many side characters but it never felt overwhelming. Was this review helpful to you?
A drama well made
People who have a bad view on Thai dramas need to watch MLC. This s definitely on e of the most well made Thai drama I have ever seen. With he essence of the real life of Thai people and their day to day lives and struggles, 2 love stories blooming while having their fair share of difficulties , realistic approach to relationship, life and everything else. The characters in this drama felt very real, very human. They were not green or red flags, they were realistic people who makes mistakes and learn to grow from them. The actors and actresses did such a splendid job. Aof as a director outdid himself with the little details, the little scripts that gave this drama a life, gave the characters a chance to be human. The casting was absolute perfection. I love the color grading of the drama, The scenes were filmed beautifully. It's not satisfying for BL watchers who are here just for the sake of watching a BL. This is a slice of life with romance mixed in it.Was this review helpful to you?
A series about catching the bs of education system mixed with fiction
It was a great watch. I enjoyed every moment of it. I think compared to other countries Thai series openly criticizes the bs education system we have. In this series we see how kids manipulated by adults are like rats running in the wheel. Mixing it up with a little sci-fi and giving the kids super powers? Even better. The creative side of this story was amazing. All the powers the Gifted students got were very well thought and planned, not the usual ones we see. Each of their potentials played a very significant role. The Gifted system can very well be aligned with the real world education system where only the best is favored. Where they are already pre-selected as to gets to go how far. How the school doesn't give kids enough space to grow and learn but rather cage them in the box called system. Now about the direction, plot and acting. Direction and editing wise it was a pleasure. One of the reason I was drawn to this show is the direction. It gives so much more depth to the plot. The plot was amazing, a piece surely coming out of a great mind. The twists really blew my mind. Everything felt like it was coming to place and then goign back to square. It was so frustrating but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lastly the acting. Gosh the acting of them are phenomenal especially when most of them were still in their teens. Nanon truly showed why he is where he is now. he truly deserve every praise. Gun showcased his skills about how he can play any role, like literally just ask him to be anyone he can literally become that person. Jane truly is a born actress, the way she expresses herself. Puimek did such a good job, i loved every scene with her. Fiat really made me connect to his character, the way he said his dialogues. Lily even so young, played her character splendidly. AJ and JJ also portrayed great characters. ANd our boy Chimon. He portrayed Wave so well I forgot Chimon is a cutie. Wave became my favorite character. Whoever says Chimon can't act must see Wave right now. Overall it was great to watch a show very different for everything I have seen so far. I am so glad I choose to watch The Gifted.
Reminder, we all are gifted, you just need something to wake that part up

Why it got the hype and why it deserves it
I didn't watch KP when it was airing because I am the type who doesn't find trendy things interesting. Mafia, guns and intimate scenes aren't my favorite anyways. This year after more than 2 years of it's released I suddenly felt like watching it and I am utterly blown away by the quality of the series. It easily made it into the list of my top BLs. The plot isn't extremely out of the box but it's well. made. What sets this BL apart is the quality in terms of acting, OST, production, cinematography, scrips, screen plays and literally anything related to KP is so refined in quality. It is a drama that will make you think, that will always be at the back of your mind. The hard work of the cast and crew just shows. All the action scenes were done by the actors themselves. If anyone thinks KP is just like any other heavy R rated content then no it got so much more than that. It got so much emotions and value to it. It will surely get you hooked. I don't think the BL industry will see anything like Kinnporsche ever again. This just set the standard so high anyone will have a hard time getting into something elseWas this review helpful to you?
Came for the cast
I came for the cast and styed for the cast. It was pretty entertaining to watch but at the same time it was way too character oriented. The plot was something new and unique. Loved the show while rewatching but might not rewatch anytime soon. Shout out to Aye and Mond once again for being such amazing actors. Lee and Fond also did pretty goof. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute but not my style
If cinnamon roll was a series that would be this. It was full of fluff and cute scenes. Good for days when you just want to roll up in blanket and watch something sweet and comfy. The plot was pretty simple. It barely had any twist or thrill. There were moments when I felt the story was going slower than needed but overall the pace was pretty alright. There were not much character developments. The depth of the characters weren't shown enough even though it is a character oriented storyline. I think I lost my interest on some points because the plot was too one dimensional only focusing on the romance aspect. I wish they added more about the university life of the characters. I expected Teerak's character to grow more and learning how to properly say no.
The cinematography and the discography is top notch. The budget was right for this. Even the camerawork left an impression. It was fantastically done. The OST was definitely what actually made me get into the drama.
The acting was pretty good even though I don't see much praise on it. I think they executed the characters well considering they are not the veterans. The support cast also did pretty good. I hope to see them more on screen.
Might not be my type of drama but it was pretty enjoyable to watch.
