Comedy in historic setting. tackling social issues and being sassy

I am so glad I gave this drama a chance despite all the comments I read in MDL. This exceeded my expectations. Not a single boring moment.

The plot was great. Were there any loose ends? Yes, if we pay enough attention probably many. The ending left me hanging. But till ep 12 I loved everything about the drama. The plot that started just a linear comedy added so much dimension by bringing history, politics, inequality in the society based on gender, financial condition, class and social orientation. It showed the fundamentals of democracy and rebellion against the dictatorship. It's definitely a great plot highlighting such major issues, which is very RARE in BL. Pretty crazy how they blended all this into the comedic aspect of the drama. We need to have more dramas that include and highlights the flaws of the society that needs to be changed.

The production amazed me with how detailed it was. The crew involved in set did a fantastic job. The direction was nice. Sometimes the pacing fell off for a bit but they picked it up quickly. As someone who is not a big fan of comedy, this one definitely didn't disappoint.

A bunch of great actors indeed. Supanut was in his natural habitat but his switch from Prince to Worradej was crazy. Ping is such an introvert but he played a strong intimidating character like Kosol so well. I have only seen Pop in Pitbabe so seeing him in a role like this was crazy. Lee did so good. Belle was so pretty and loved her scenes. Aton truly blew me away. What a great actor at such a young age.

Overall it was a fun watch. Definitely something different that needs more praises.

A comedy mystery horror all in a box with a sprinkle of lesson for life.

You cannot tell me this is not one of the best GMMTV series with the most amazing cast chemistry. The plot, the emotions, the elements, all were so perfectly placed I had to finish the whole drama in one go.

Having multiple elements in one plot is so difficult, that too if they all are the opposite ones. The brought horror, added comedy to it, while having mystery towards the end. None of the moment felt boring. Every dub story had soul in it. Every character played a role. Everything fell into piece slowly as we unravel the truth. This is how a plot needs to be made. Characters that are realistic, a story investing enough to keep you till the end.

The cinematography was clear cut winner. Loved every bit of it. The thematic concept of neon, which represents the young generation was so greatly incorporated throughout the whole show. The camera work was great. Even the outfits are a reflection of each character. Everything just enhanced the overall vibe of the whole show. Great work by the crew.

Acting, gosh the seasoned actors are called seasoned for nothing. New, Tay, Janhae, Mook and the cameos of Ciize, Force, Book, Perth, Foei and the whole cast did a fantastic job. The way I was loosing my mind at the ending just made me realize how great they are as actors.

A show not to be missed but not talked about.

A mix of fluff, tiny angst, lots of comedy and a mystery.

Not every drama has to be extremely high quality to be enjoyable. I loved every bot of the drama. It was entertaining to watch, heartwarmingly cute and kept me hooked to know what happens till the end. I never knew SeaKeen had it in them to pull of a drama like this. Now I want them to have more characters to banter.

The plot was definitely good. It might have had holes here or there, honestly I didn't care to notice. What I loved the most is the dynamics of J and Jinn. It's been a while we had a rivalry college drama. The first half focused more on chemistry build up and the second half of the drama untangled the mystery. Sometimes I couldn't get the timelines but it was not difficult to understand what was going on. The side couple's story was as investing as the main one. It's rare to see red flags in such semi-fluff stories so good to see something different.

The direction was definitely on the better side. Whoever designed the theme and concept deserves some kudos. It perfectly captured the essence of the drama. The whole drama is so GenZ coded and I think it was directed well.

Keen has so much of potential, he portrayed his character so well and his emotions were never failing. Keen has improved so much, he is definitely a lot less stiff and is showing great expression. I am fairly impressed with Java, I cannot believe he is one of the newbies. The way he portrayed he character was so to the point I wanted to slap some sense in him. Surf indeed showcased strong acting ability with stable emotions and delivery.

Definitely one of GMMTv's better drama. It should have gotten a lot more hype.

Loved how every character had an arc to explore

It was enjoyable to watch. The storyline was set beautifully with each characters having their own arches. The story treated one of the biggest but under used concept in stories, consent and for that reason, Between Us deserves it's own flowers.

Plot was simple but well founded. The background story of Team really wrecked me. It was really build well and Team's character reflected his past well. Win's character, in the rarity of on screen shows, was a huge green flag. The idea of slowly falling in love was shown perfectly. I wish we could have gotten some more time to explore the side couples. They all had such unique characteristics. The romantic scenes of main couple was really heart fluttering and certain moments still lingers in my memories.

The cinematography was modest. The direction on few places felt a little slow but the casual talks or going out to eat, these things were done so naturally. The swimming scenes were fantastically captured.

The entire cast did amazing. It's rare to have the entire cast having their own charismatic style but each of them truly shined throughout the show. Great acting.

One of the BL classics from Wabi Sabi. Definitely worth watching.

Came for the cast

I came for the cast and styed for the cast. It was pretty entertaining to watch but at the same time it was way too character oriented. The plot was something new and unique. Loved the show while rewatching but might not rewatch anytime soon. Shout out to Aye and Mond once again for being such amazing actors. Lee and Fond also did pretty goof.

Cute but not my style

If cinnamon roll was a series that would be this. It was full of fluff and cute scenes. Good for days when you just want to roll up in blanket and watch something sweet and comfy.

The plot was pretty simple. It barely had any twist or thrill. There were moments when I felt the story was going slower than needed but overall the pace was pretty alright. There were not much character developments. The depth of the characters weren't shown enough even though it is a character oriented storyline. I think I lost my interest on some points because the plot was too one dimensional only focusing on the romance aspect. I wish they added more about the university life of the characters. I expected Teerak's character to grow more and learning how to properly say no.

The cinematography and the discography is top notch. The budget was right for this. Even the camerawork left an impression. It was fantastically done. The OST was definitely what actually made me get into the drama.

The acting was pretty good even though I don't see much praise on it. I think they executed the characters well considering they are not the veterans. The support cast also did pretty good. I hope to see them more on screen.

Might not be my type of drama but it was pretty enjoyable to watch.

I wonder what made it this popular

This is my lowest rated BL of all time and the reason partially is how overhyped it was and how undeserving it is of that.

The plot s mess. It make absolutely no sense. It's full of toxicity, zero character development. A bunch of sexist jokes being passed here and there. The heteronormativity in this is worse than even older BLs than this. I just couldn't comprehend a single thing that went into the drama.

Cinematography wise it has the old Thai drama vibes. It was not bad considering the time but direction and the camera work was average.

Acting wise also it disappointed me. I would have thought the main actors were really bad at their job if I hadn't watched other works. It was very bland but both Bright and Win are really amazing actors

Highly disappointed.

A fantasy drama with story like never before

This is one of those dramas that gave me good feeling while watching, Might not be something I will rewatch anytime soon but definitely one of my feel good dramas.

The plot is definitely what caught my attention. It is a very unique one. I can see a lot of attention to the details in terms of plot. The drama was very plot driven. What I love is how all the characters felt in place. The first few episodes and the last few were the ones where I felt the most invested while watching. It was like bits and pieces of cuteness, emotion, slice of life all put together into one. The romantic aspect in the middle fell a little. The scenes were good, acting wise as well however it felt like a little bit of something could have added more to it.

Direction and cinematography wise this is definitely top notch. Dare I say in that era from GMMTV one of the firsts to bring quality content. The color palette is beautiful. It creates a beautiful feeling while watching the drama. The attention to small details were crazy good and I love how most of them aren't pointed out but if you pay close attention you can see how they have added little things to create the other universe different.

I can't help but praise Sea for his skills. What a mind-blowing actor. Jimmy did amazing in his character. Ohm, Nanon, Neo, Auo, Boom, Pepper, Piploy, Namtan and all the cameos and supporting cast was fantastic and brought life to this fantasy.

Overall it was good watch. There were definitely room to add more but this definitely is one of the significant fantasy BLs.

Considering the timeline this wasn't that bad

A very typical plot with loosely bonded script and pretty good acting is what Waterboy is. It was quite fun to watch but had it's moment where it fell so flat I had to fast forward. Overall the story doesn't contain much depth or intensity. Character development is there however not well executed . They did highlighted some things about relationships quite well. The female characters especially were poorly written. The male characters on the other hand were pretty entertaining to watch. The direction was slow paced but never felt too slow. It had it's place to improve however I think this is definitely one of the significant BLs of all time.
Acting wise the entire cast did a good job. I was expecting more of Arm Namon to happen. They left a longing for me.

An incredible cinematic thriller combining food with social status

What a thrilling ride it was. Every moment I was holding my breath. From the beginning to the end it was amazing well done. Whoever says Thai movies aren't good I am just going to shove it on their face.

The plot point highlighted two things, if my takeaways from this movie is correct. On one side they showed the social inequality of the current world and how those who have something are hungry for more. On the other side they showed how being special is a curse in disguise and how when chasing success gets in your head you are hungry for more. It left a big impact on me. The pace was perfectly balanced where we got to witness all arcs of main lead's life.

Cinematography and direction wise this is the best Thai film I have watched. It is incredible to the point words aren't enough. Every shot was done in a way where it catches the emotions of the scene and the characters. It was not too fast neither too slow, the perfect pace. I loved how there were no unnecessary scenes or use of music. The background silence and only the sound of dialogues and cooking utensils made me feel like I was witnessing everything first hand. The cinematography alone is enough to keep you on your toes till the end.

One big thing about the movie is it has half the dialogues of other movies. All the actors had was expressions and gestures to act their way through. Yet they managed to express themselves incredibly well through their eyes, face and cooking. Kudos to the actors for managing to pull off all the cooking scenes. This is one of the most well acted Thai drama I have seen.

If anyone asks for Thai movie recommendations I am definitely sharing hunger. As someone who once aspired to become a chef the movie is quite close to my heart and I want to thank the entire team for creating "HUNGER"

A drama so beautiful and serene

It had it's beauty and flaws but more or less it brought me to the era of Siam from the history books and every moment felt like I travelled back in time of peace and tranquility. I wished it had a little more tragedy at moments.

This is in my opinion the best plot from GMMTV this year. I love a well made periodic drama. I did wish to see more of the Thai French relationship on a political level, that would have enhanced the historical dimension of the plot even more. This drama is made for more mature mind. The story of Siam's relation with foreign countries back in the day, how love in any form other than the generalized one wasn't accepted and how the commoners and elites were divided by the classism. Each character truly felt human and alive . They were closest to the real world people unlike the imaginary characters we see in dramas. Couldn't help but a little lingering feeling for the ending. It was almost perfect but few things could have been done in a little more refined way at the last episode.

Cinematography was truly mesmerizing. It was slow and sedate. In a period of no rush and no modern facilities, it truly felt like I was brought back in time to a whole different world. Knowing a little Thai made it even more enjoyable to hear the old Thai pronunciations. Every scene was caught beautifully. Some times it did felt a little empty on the scenes. I felt as if there could have been a little more added to each scenes.

Acting wise this is definitely GreatInn and AuoBoom's best acts yet and I am snot arguing on this. This was tough to act. To understand a character from a century ago, speaking French without knowledge of the language, speaking old time Thai, defining things with expression that will go along with the character so different from their usual selves. They did fantastic job. Kudos to the rest of the casts for the amazing work they did. Each character and cast felt in perfect sync. Truly amazing.

It was definitely worth watching. In the era of rush and bustle a drama like this makes me appreciate the world a a little more. If I could I wish to travel back in time and be the Rati to someone.

Cute but needed more work to enhance it

I usually do not compare dramas however since MSP and MLMU carries the same theme I couldn't help but think about MSP while watching MLMU and honestly I wasn't satisfied. I wasn't disappointed either but there's a lingering feeling longing for more.

The plot was interesting at the beginning but lost it's charm because of the extremely slow progression. The chemistry wasn't there. I enjoyed the behind the scenes more than the drama because of the amazing chemistry of GemFourth but the drama was definitely not directed and edited to the brim. It lacked something and that is such a let down because GemFourth are amazing actors. Thap's character could have been done better. He felt like he was just there. I was more invested in the side couple.

The acting was good though. Thap's character wasn't developed well so it fell off after awhile but Gemini still did a quite good job. Fourth as well. However Chokun and Pahn as a newbie truly caught my attention.

The budget was there but the quality of the production could have been better. There were few scenes too slow or just unnecessary.

I haven't watched the J version however the color and essence of the Thai version is completely different from the J version and I in no means am doing any comparison but I was expecting a little more. Still definitely worth the watch if you just want to watch something cute and fresh while having meals.

Definitely entertaining to watch

What a entertaining comedy series to fill my day. I loved the series. It is fun, entertaining, filled with actual comedy that isn't cringe. The cast did fantastic in acting and expressing their characters. The plot was simple but fun and amazing.

A dun comedy story with no scope of boredom. The plot was amazingly written, with each episode focusing one couple, even with a big cast the storyline never jumbled up. And while we went through the break up plans in each episode the main leads grew closer and closer. I expected a little more depth in the plot in terms of showing different relationships and each story giving a moral. But overall the plot was highly entertaining to watch.

The acting was perfect fit for each of their roles. They truly brought life to their characters. The expressions were perfectly delivered for a comedy series. Off was so good in this. Lastly the twist at the end made me gag.

The cinematography was really high quality and added more fun to the comedy scenes. Great direction.

A cute series but with much more

I heard really positive review about the series so decided to give it a shot and I definitely enjoyed my time watching it. It had it's moment where it fell flat but most of the show it was highly entertaining to watch. We need more shows about idol life. The idea of idol dating ban truly hit me with this one because of how they showed the contract

The plot was something never done before, the life a teen boy and his chase towards dream to become an idol. The harsh reality of the idol industry shaped through a cute series. For me the later part of the show was more enjoyable then the first part. I wish they had explored the idol life part even more so we could feel the depth of the emotions. It felt a little rushed in my opinion. The plot was very simple and straight to the point. It was filled with many cute moments. The characters were well thought, just needed a little more background to show the depth.

The cinematography was fresh and it truly captured the theme of the show. The direction kept the light heartedness. I loved the color grading. It was more of slow paced and focused on the small movements and gestures and dialogues. If you want to watch a slice of life with lots of narak scenes this si the one for you.

Sea and Keen as new actors did very well. Keen especially pulled off being Moo very well. He is naturally an extrovert but being in character of a very loud character like Moo is difficult. He really delivered well. I was so much invested in AunAshi's pairing. Their story was so cute to watch and I craved for more. I am usually not the type to focus more on secondary couple but in terms of romance TaeYos stole the show for me.

It was definitely a good watch. If you are into idol groups it's a must.

Gets a little interesting towards the end but a wasted potential

As a huge BossNeoul fan I feel a little frustrated because they honestly deserved better. The acting was perfection, saved the drama.
The plot had really great potential to develop into one of the best dramas of the year but the abrupt ending and the lack of flow made it unenjoyable. They had a great idea but none sat to develop it so it ended up having too many plot holes and no depth. What saddens me the most is it had potentials.

The acting is phenomenal and we can truly see how much Booss and Neoul has grown since LITA. They embraced the characters well and showed apt emotions in each scene. They truly gave life to the characters. They truly deserve some better storylines.

The sorection was good. It felt really high maintained and well drafted. Even with the lack of plot the cinematography and direction gave it atleast some dimension.

I hope to see more of such plot but with better quality.
