This kept me engaged till I finished. Every second worth it

Cannot believe this series didn't made enough noise. One of the best murder mystery thriller I have seen with seasoned actors and a very well done direction.

What a great plot with what an unexpected ending. Every turn of episode had it's own twist. Everytime you think someone is the k1ller it turns out they aren't. What an immersive storyline. I love how each character had their own background story to bring to the plate. None of the character felt soul-less or just there. Everyone had a purpose. It showcased different lives in different light and how there is always beyond what we see in someone.

Cinematography was amazing. great camera work. Loved the direction and how the significant scenes were repeated but each time unraveling the mystery.

As expected from amazing cast, amazing acting. I knew Pim, Punpun, Esther and Na and Phi Gap. The rest were new faces to me but everyone's acting shined.

A highly recommended series with a well made plot yet so underrated. Definitely worth the time.

The most beautiful drama I have ever seen

I never thought I will like this drama as much as I do but it is definitely worth more than 10 star. I want everyone to watch it with a fresh mind leaving the thought of BL or a romance drama behind. This drama needs to be absorbed for the storyline of the growth of a person, the scenic beauty of Thailand and the efforts put by the cast and crew.

The storyline is simple. Very simple. Sometimes we need simple. It is about the remote village on the hills and the story about the people there and how one life far away from them ended up entangling himself in the life of the village. It tells the story of fate and the old tale of 100 stars. We get to see characters as real as it can get and a slice of there simple life. As I said, sometimes all we need is simple stories.

The cast really did amazing playing their roles. All the characters are so realistic and human and Sir Aof and the crew found perfect people for them. Earth and Mix really became Phupha and Tian. Aye as Torfun, and the rest of the casts fitted perfectly. Their acting was phenomenal because it is hard to act simple, act realistic and embrace a character to it's core.

The cinematography is impeccable. Anyone who loves mountain and nature, this drama is for them. They managed to capture the true essence of a remote village up in the hills with the non-exaggerated direction and clean cinematography. The cinematography and camera work made it feel like I was watching everything with my own eyes.

Lastly judos to P' Aof, EarthMix, Aye and the rest of the cast and crew for putting so much effort into creating this masterpiece. This is the result of weeks of hard work. From building the houses to eating under flashlights, bringing power from down hill, hats off to the team.

This drama has just became a place of comfort and emotion for me.

A series about catching the bs of education system mixed with fiction

It was a great watch. I enjoyed every moment of it. I think compared to other countries Thai series openly criticizes the bs education system we have. In this series we see how kids manipulated by adults are like rats running in the wheel. Mixing it up with a little sci-fi and giving the kids super powers? Even better. The creative side of this story was amazing. All the powers the Gifted students got were very well thought and planned, not the usual ones we see. Each of their potentials played a very significant role. The Gifted system can very well be aligned with the real world education system where only the best is favored. Where they are already pre-selected as to gets to go how far. How the school doesn't give kids enough space to grow and learn but rather cage them in the box called system.

Now about the direction, plot and acting. Direction and editing wise it was a pleasure. One of the reason I was drawn to this show is the direction. It gives so much more depth to the plot. The plot was amazing, a piece surely coming out of a great mind. The twists really blew my mind. Everything felt like it was coming to place and then goign back to square. It was so frustrating but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lastly the acting. Gosh the acting of them are phenomenal especially when most of them were still in their teens. Nanon truly showed why he is where he is now. he truly deserve every praise. Gun showcased his skills about how he can play any role, like literally just ask him to be anyone he can literally become that person. Jane truly is a born actress, the way she expresses herself. Puimek did such a good job, i loved every scene with her. Fiat really made me connect to his character, the way he said his dialogues. Lily even so young, played her character splendidly. AJ and JJ also portrayed great characters. ANd our boy Chimon. He portrayed Wave so well I forgot Chimon is a cutie. Wave became my favorite character. Whoever says Chimon can't act must see Wave right now. Overall it was great to watch a show very different for everything I have seen so far. I am so glad I choose to watch The Gifted.

Reminder, we all are gifted, you just need something to wake that part up

Why it got the hype and why it deserves it

I didn't watch KP when it was airing because I am the type who doesn't find trendy things interesting. Mafia, guns and intimate scenes aren't my favorite anyways. This year after more than 2 years of it's released I suddenly felt like watching it and I am utterly blown away by the quality of the series. It easily made it into the list of my top BLs. The plot isn't extremely out of the box but it's well. made. What sets this BL apart is the quality in terms of acting, OST, production, cinematography, scrips, screen plays and literally anything related to KP is so refined in quality. It is a drama that will make you think, that will always be at the back of your mind. The hard work of the cast and crew just shows. All the action scenes were done by the actors themselves. If anyone thinks KP is just like any other heavy R rated content then no it got so much more than that. It got so much emotions and value to it. It will surely get you hooked. I don't think the BL industry will see anything like Kinnporsche ever again. This just set the standard so high anyone will have a hard time getting into something else

Chaos between friends in the zone

This drama drew a new picture in the scene of Thai dramas with it's messy characters and realistic approach of the youth love. Through the idea of situationship, this gave us a new taste in the romance genre.

The plot is very character centric, revolving on the relationships and the friendships between everyone and that brought more chaos than expected. The characters were flawed yet realistic. They made many mistakes, had their own redemption arcs and in between so much we ended up with some of the best bonds on screen. Every character played a part in the plot and it was nice to have a romance drama where it is uncertain who will end up with who, if at all they are ending up together.

The cinematography felt really new. The pace was little different then the older romance genre dramas of that time. Jojo made sure everything left a bit of frustration with so much of curiosity for the next part. The music was refreshing.

The acting was really good in this. Plustor especially brought his character to life. It really felt like watching real people on screen.

It was one of the pillars of the Thai dramas that brought in a different styling. Definitely reccomended.

The acting saved the plot with holes

While I did gave it a 7 I was more disappointed than dissatisfied because this had potential that got wasted with bad screenwriting and direction.

The plot wanted to focus on student rebellion and power. It tried to highlight corruption in education system and much more but failed even get a little bit of it. The screenwriting felt like it came from a novice. It could have been much more refined with plan and understanding the direction of the story.

The acting is great. Even with a young cast they did a good job to show their emotions. This is one of the highlighting series of that time GMMTV new stars.

I really started this back in the days with lots of high hope however it didn't meet anything.

The expectation was set differently but the girls still rules

Contrary to popular opinion I enjoyed Girl Rules a lot more than I thought I would. My first GL didn't disappoint me at all. While my expectations were set for something else, this turned out not at all bad.

The plot is well written. Did I anticipate it to be more messy, toxic and deep? Yes but it was still good enough to reach my heart. The problem is the pilot and trailer set a different expectation for the series, making it the GL equivalent of Only Friends. But it was way less messy in terms the cross relations. In the middle it did fell of a bit however while it took a different part it still managed to show multiple issues w|w relationship faces, all the issues women as a general face in the society. Through the characters it showed us about the value of love, friendship and care. Each of the character carried their own back story. Bambi's character was well written and had the multidimension while most slid towards one dimensional characters. What really made me stay till the end was how the scenes are played, which felt closer to reality, as if I was a part of the Girl Rules universe. There was no rush or scenes which felt unnecessary. The girlhood and sisterhood played throughout the story made my heart warm.

The direction was great. I don't know what people are complaining about. This was not just for the adrenaline, this felt more like stories about actual queer women. I loved the direction style. The pace was perfect. The color grading and editing was perfect. The styling is chef kiss. The sound engineering could have been better but overall the watching experience was good.

Oh my gosh I love the GMM girls. Shout out to Namtan. Film, Love, Milk, View, Mim, Emi, Bonnie, Ciize, Kapook, Mint and the rest of the cast for crushing the drama with their acting. From dialogue delivery to facial expression, everything brought each of the characters to life.

As a women myself, this was closer to my heart. It felt more than a drama. If we keep the pre-built thoughts aside, Girl Rules might be one of the best GLs in the industry with such a realistic set up and grey characters.

A deeper dive into the characters and the many troubles of teenagers

This season dived deeper into each characters life while highlighted many problems teenagers face but has no one to guide them. It shade light on the problems and also left a moral understanding which might be helpful for the teenagers struggling with something similar.

The story continued from where it left off. Now each episode covered each of the characters and how they overcame the struggles. It showed the social media and stalker issue, about dangerousness of illegal abortion, about a teen loosing their parent, conflict of career path choice, bad effects of substance uses, how feelings are uncontrollable, sexuality, anxiety, child-parent relationships and bad parenting problems, friendship, mental health, attention seeking and many more. And each of the issues were winded up with the character's daily lives making it more relatable for everyone.

Acting was amazing. The new characters also did great. Punpun's acting always stood out to me the most.

Direction wise it wasn't slow. It felt like watching them in real life.

I always say Hormones has at least one thing you will relate to, in their multiple struggles of teen lives. It's great to see a true teen-centric story that solely doesn't revolve around being a high schooler in love.

A blueprint of modern Teenage Thai drama

Every opinion aside, this became the blueprint of modern Teenage Thai drama and anything and everything you see started after Hormones became a big hit.

Even if you watch the drama a decade later it somehow completely fits the present day scenario perfectly. The plot revolved around multiple people with multiple relationship and friendship dynamics that the youth could relate too. It was daring, messy, discussed things openly which has been considered taboo. This was such a refresher. The story didn't revolve around 2 people, it revolved around stories and that made multiple possibilities of what might happened. It talked about relationships, love, teenage problems. It talked about different parental and family problems teenagers face. It shed light on multiple aspects of sexual intercourse and also a bit of sex education. Every character felt like they were real because they weren't created to cater to a certain audience with either overly saturated green flag characteristics or ever so hating red flag characteristics. Each of them made mistakes and the story took turns to give them a chance to realize the mistake and how to do better. It was an amazing character centric story where the plot was never empty.

The acting of the young cast truly showed how we must have more new faces in the industry. Most of them were newbies with little experience and they made the characters from the page alive on the screen. Hormone truly gave us the next generation of Thai actors. Everyone, even the smallest of roles did an amazing job.

The camerawork was nothing extravagant but it was realistic. It gave of the early 2010's vibe and the editing was much more ahead of it's time with the pacing and frames.

All 3 seasons of hormones are still enjoyable to this day and I believe it will remain one of the best even in the upcoming years. The viewers could connect with the characters and thus became the groundbreaking drama it is.

A lighthearted romantic comedy- True to it's concept

If you are looking for a light hearted romantic comedy that's easy to watch, this is the one for you. It has got some really cute romantic scenes, not cringe, full of comedy and a touch of emotional burdens of the characters.

I might be the only one who really loved the plot. Was it perfect? No. Was it thrilling? Kinda. But it made me stick till the end. This is my first time watching a romantic comedy with a plot like this and I really loved every bit of it. The comedy was never exaggerated. The romantic scenes truly felt domestic, like peaking into the life of two couples. The story progressed well in my opinion. It never felt fully flat. The character might look like they just showed their surface level personalities, but as we went through, we got to have the deep dive for each of them as they un-winded their emotional struggles. That made them felt more seen and relatable.

The direction, considering the director's previous work, was much more enjoyable. I actually was craving for each episode because. I really loved how the screen writer and director managed to find balance between the two couple's focus times which led to perfect flow of story progressions. That's why each episode was interesting to watch. I really loved the color grading that added a new dimension to the series. Special mention to Mark's stylist for giving him one of his best looks yet.

Honestly, I knew entire cast before MRS but I felt like I discovered all of these talented actors again. Mark really truly embodied his role as Pai. In every scene I could feel the facade of a tough person, always craving to be embraced with a little love. Junior, oh boy, he is such a fantastic actor because how do you play the same character with completely two different personalities? Tim before he got exposed vs after had so many minor changes that Ju nailed. Poon really flourished in this. Honestly he has always been good but in this he truly got to showcase his skill of subtle acting and facial expressions. It's been a while since seeing Ohm in a lead role and he absolutely slayed it. Those moments of helplessness with wide eyes searching for trust, I wanted to hug him so bad. Louis did an awesome job with his role. Kapook, even with so little screen time made sure she portrays that hypertension lady well. Title, Mond, Aun, Save with their random cameo made it more fun.

I loved every moment of the drama. It was not really something that would make full sense but the amazing chemistry and the wonderful cinematography with scenes filled with so much of laughter made it worth watching.

Could have had it all

It's such a shame that this series had a lot of potential yet was ruined because of the lack of GMMTvs effort to actually make a BL crime thriller. Still a good show to watch but the bar was set too high since pilot and they definitely didn't meet it.

The plot was fantastic but it couldn't be shown properly in the series. The plot twists were 50/50 predictable however when it actually happened my jaw dropped. This was the perfect dark plot for GMMTVs suppose pivotal crime BL but it lacked depth. The screenwriting was filled with so much of side quest than the actual murder mystery which ruined the thrill for those who wanted this to be more than just a romance BL. The characters lacked depth which made them just a plot machine. I couldn't feel bad for any victim, I couldn't feel much anger either when the truths started to come up, for any of the characters for that. The screen writing really failed the murder mystery.

The direction was not fit for a dark themed BL. The focus went too much on the couple rather than the case. The romance should have acted more like an envelop to the murder mystery and should have been integrated more in scenes where they were investigating rather than always having completely separate scenes. Jade and Kamin were supposed to be co-workers first and then fell in love. Their falling in love should have happened parallelly while they work together. The cinematography was not bad, that being said the color grading and sound engineering did save the "mystery" aspect of the drama. Even though it should have kept the darker essence we saw in the pilot.

Acting wise this is second best to Style for Dunk's career. He actually improved a lot and this is coming from a complainer. He actually became Kamin. Joong always slays his role with his versatility and facial expressions. Pahn is such a stunner. She will go far. I just love bad boy Chimon character so much. He is one of those actors in GMMTV that can be a villain or a victim any day. Especially have to mention Ashi for his incredible acting. Made me want to punch his face. Aungpao, with less screen time left an impactful show. I have always loved Earn's acting. She really brought her character to real life. For Sing, really nothign to say, a veteran indeed. And lastly June, her eyes talk, brilliant acting. The acting really saved this series for me.

Honestly it's not bad, there are worse mystery series than this. It's just disappointing because this should have been Joong Dunk's break through to the world if the show was done correctly. Still worth giving it a try

Comedy in historic setting. tackling social issues and being sassy

I am so glad I gave this drama a chance despite all the comments I read in MDL. This exceeded my expectations. Not a single boring moment.

The plot was great. Were there any loose ends? Yes, if we pay enough attention probably many. The ending left me hanging. But till ep 12 I loved everything about the drama. The plot that started just a linear comedy added so much dimension by bringing history, politics, inequality in the society based on gender, financial condition, class and social orientation. It showed the fundamentals of democracy and rebellion against the dictatorship. It's definitely a great plot highlighting such major issues, which is very RARE in BL. Pretty crazy how they blended all this into the comedic aspect of the drama. We need to have more dramas that include and highlights the flaws of the society that needs to be changed.

The production amazed me with how detailed it was. The crew involved in set did a fantastic job. The direction was nice. Sometimes the pacing fell off for a bit but they picked it up quickly. As someone who is not a big fan of comedy, this one definitely didn't disappoint.

A bunch of great actors indeed. Supanut was in his natural habitat but his switch from Prince to Worradej was crazy. Ping is such an introvert but he played a strong intimidating character like Kosol so well. I have only seen Pop in Pitbabe so seeing him in a role like this was crazy. Lee did so good. Belle was so pretty and loved her scenes. Aton truly blew me away. What a great actor at such a young age.

Overall it was a fun watch. Definitely something different that needs more praises.

A comedy mystery horror all in a box with a sprinkle of lesson for life.

You cannot tell me this is not one of the best GMMTV series with the most amazing cast chemistry. The plot, the emotions, the elements, all were so perfectly placed I had to finish the whole drama in one go.

Having multiple elements in one plot is so difficult, that too if they all are the opposite ones. The brought horror, added comedy to it, while having mystery towards the end. None of the moment felt boring. Every dub story had soul in it. Every character played a role. Everything fell into piece slowly as we unravel the truth. This is how a plot needs to be made. Characters that are realistic, a story investing enough to keep you till the end.

The cinematography was clear cut winner. Loved every bit of it. The thematic concept of neon, which represents the young generation was so greatly incorporated throughout the whole show. The camera work was great. Even the outfits are a reflection of each character. Everything just enhanced the overall vibe of the whole show. Great work by the crew.

Acting, gosh the seasoned actors are called seasoned for nothing. New, Tay, Janhae, Mook and the cameos of Ciize, Force, Book, Perth, Foei and the whole cast did a fantastic job. The way I was loosing my mind at the ending just made me realize how great they are as actors.

A show not to be missed but not talked about.

A mix of fluff, tiny angst, lots of comedy and a mystery.

Not every drama has to be extremely high quality to be enjoyable. I loved every bot of the drama. It was entertaining to watch, heartwarmingly cute and kept me hooked to know what happens till the end. I never knew SeaKeen had it in them to pull of a drama like this. Now I want them to have more characters to banter.

The plot was definitely good. It might have had holes here or there, honestly I didn't care to notice. What I loved the most is the dynamics of J and Jinn. It's been a while we had a rivalry college drama. The first half focused more on chemistry build up and the second half of the drama untangled the mystery. Sometimes I couldn't get the timelines but it was not difficult to understand what was going on. The side couple's story was as investing as the main one. It's rare to see red flags in such semi-fluff stories so good to see something different.

The direction was definitely on the better side. Whoever designed the theme and concept deserves some kudos. It perfectly captured the essence of the drama. The whole drama is so GenZ coded and I think it was directed well.

Keen has so much of potential, he portrayed his character so well and his emotions were never failing. Keen has improved so much, he is definitely a lot less stiff and is showing great expression. I am fairly impressed with Java, I cannot believe he is one of the newbies. The way he portrayed he character was so to the point I wanted to slap some sense in him. Surf indeed showcased strong acting ability with stable emotions and delivery.

Definitely one of GMMTv's better drama. It should have gotten a lot more hype.

Loved how every character had an arc to explore

It was enjoyable to watch. The storyline was set beautifully with each characters having their own arches. The story treated one of the biggest but under used concept in stories, consent and for that reason, Between Us deserves it's own flowers.

Plot was simple but well founded. The background story of Team really wrecked me. It was really build well and Team's character reflected his past well. Win's character, in the rarity of on screen shows, was a huge green flag. The idea of slowly falling in love was shown perfectly. I wish we could have gotten some more time to explore the side couples. They all had such unique characteristics. The romantic scenes of main couple was really heart fluttering and certain moments still lingers in my memories.

The cinematography was modest. The direction on few places felt a little slow but the casual talks or going out to eat, these things were done so naturally. The swimming scenes were fantastically captured.

The entire cast did amazing. It's rare to have the entire cast having their own charismatic style but each of them truly shined throughout the show. Great acting.

One of the BL classics from Wabi Sabi. Definitely worth watching.
