The ROMANCE- Till now its the only Drama where ive seen 10+ kissing scenes where kisses felt like kisses Non of the kisses were disappointing . They had chemistry more than my WHOLE C DRAMA list's CHEMISTRY
LOVE TRIANGLE- Ill not say a love triangle coz the FL had hereyes only on ML and she liked the other Supporting CHr. As her brother. The antg. Liked her till his Last breath.
I think This helps u whether to watch or not. IF U ARE HERE FOR THE ROMANCE PART GO FOR IT ITLL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU.

A guy falls for a girl. The girl has a kid with that dude while her "brother" is jealous and does a lot to undermine their relationship. Oh, and his mom is the cause of all misunderstanding between the main leads because... well, she is the mom who has to do stuff for her son. Then the girl has amnesia and becomes a revenge infiltrator of the military mansion by becoming a secretary to big kahuna. Kauna's wife will only hire a female secretary who is married and with a kid, so the girl hires a homeless orphan to act as her child and in the most crucial moment when she has to present her husband, the subordinate of the big kahuna claims to be her spouse because ta-da! he is the boy who loved the girl and fathered her child! How do you like it so far? Don't touch that dial because I am only on ep 1! Seriously, if you can track each and every turn of the plot with ridiculous tropes - hats off to you for wasting enough brain cells that would last you for a driver license exam. Oh, just so you know - the hired kid is really her son and the pretend husband has been stabbed by FL around the time of amnesia set on because he is the son of the villain who killed girl's family. If you are not confused yet - watch for yourself.Unfortunately, this production sucks: the story and characters are so unbelievably bad, and the scenes are stretched beyond any acceptable limits that I had to stop 3/4 of the way to not puke. Seriously, rewatch value 0 because even if instead of 40, there were 12 episodes and not 15 min each but 8-10 min long, it still would have had extra time without substance other than long and slowed shots from all possible angles of pretty people -I must add - looking breathtaking at times.
Why did I not drop it? Because I watch the Republican era series just to watch the outfits. Qipaos are to die for! I want to own all of them! The guys in uniforms - even if ridiculously pointing guns at each other every minute - and shouting things like Boss I ran out of bullets - are not to be missed! Too bad ML, Yuan Hao, famous for his smile, had to play such mediocre crap. Jiang Zhi Nan is spectacular, but she could do better than this - if you have not seen her in Rise from Ashes do it now to truly appreciate her talent.

Quick romance fix, when you need good kissing scenes
So.. let's be honest. It's a trashy short-lenght drama, where most of the misunderstandings could have been solved without violance.. if you know people would talk with each other and not try to be considerate of others. Or avoid talking..The story itself is pretty predictable. The cast is pretty and the ost was surprisingly good. But the best part was actually the chemistry between the main leads - the tension was there, the kisses were realistic. So it is a good trash to watch when you need it.

Go Find Your Popcorn And Strap Yourself In!
For a micro drama, The Princess, for most of its run, is a good one. I enjoyed the repeated scenarios, the reoccurring plotting to split the leads apart, the ensuring heartbreak, them getting back together and the politics of the Republican Era.This drama has a very good cast, great costuming and tantalising sets with good production values. Like all micro dramas, the end of each 15 minute episode ends in a cliffhanger, so, yes, we get certain plot lines repeated time and again. Reaching for the popcorn during these moments will help you get through what happens next!
However, I found that during the last 20% of its run, the rehashed happenings to our leads undermined the story. Some would argue - what story, it’s a typical Republican Era plot. Even though it is, the early episodes had interesting developments regarding Chinese opera at the local theatre, good family mysteries and interesting characters.
There is plenty in the romance department for fans of the leads, who have both done some very good shows to date. The number of face eating, passionate kissing scenes and other amorous moments (that you don’t see in standard dramas) would keep most very happy 😂🤣😂
If show hadn’t gone down the path it did in the final 8 episodes, I would have given it 9.5 instead of 8. It’s worth a peek, even if it is for the first ten episodes 😊

Even handsome and talented actors can't save this series :(
Very handsome & talented actors, but the storyline (FL who wants revenge for the death and ruin of her family, in China in the 1920s, in the middle of the warlords' battles) is so disjointed and poorly written and produced, that I didn't manage to hang on...There is an incoherent succession of various twists and we ask ourselves in each episode “what the f**k?”
And the anachronisms!!! Tiny microphones, videos? In 1920-1930? Seriously ?
==> The costumes, the sets are magnificent, the actors are all very handsome, but it seems that this director only cares about the visuals (in his other series, it's the same щ(ಥДಥщ). I won't watch anymore dramas from this producer!!
Sorry for the 2 leads, I like them, but it's unbearable!

Des acteurs très beaux & talentueux, mais la storyline (FL qui veut se venger de la mort et ruine de sa famille, dans la Chine des années 1920, au milieu des batailles des seigneurs de guerre) est tellement décousue et mal ficelée, que je n'ai pas réussi à accrocher....
On a droit à une succession incohérente de twists divers et on se demande à chaque épisode "what the f**k ?"
Et les anachronismes !!! Des tous petits micros, des vidéos ? En 1920-1930 ? Sérieux ?
==> Les costumes, les décors sont magnifiques, les acteurs sont tous très beaux, mais il semble que ce réalisateur ne s'inquiète que des visuels (dans ses autres séries, c'est pareil щ(ಥДಥщ). Je ne regarderai plus de dramas de ce producteur !!

Love the passionate KISSES... It is real kisses
Ok, the drama interest me maybe because it was only 15 mins per episode. I love the costumes they were in this drama. I always love republican drama. The actors are all good looking. I watch for the visual. Male lead is a good kisser, now this remind me of maid revenge where the ML such a good kisser. I was looking for something new and have a bit of break from other dramas i am watching while waiting for next episode. So this one really interest. I like the female actress as she was from when i fly towards you drama.Overall... This was a good drama. Damn all costumes they worn id love to wear something like this. And male leads are all so handsome. Would be nice to show a bit of skin but the setting was like cold winter season.
It is re watchable. Dont care about bad reviews, i really like this one and im giving it a good rate.

Troppe puntate
Storia molto articolata e quasi noiosa per certi aspetti. 40 puntate sono troppe da digerire: è un continuo susseguirsi di incomprensioni, gelosie, vendette, amnesia, amori non corrisposti, sparatorie e accoltellamenti :insomma tutti i cliché possibili e immaginabili.Non sto a fare la sinossi della serie (basta guardare le altre recensioni) ma è talmente e articolata che è inverosimile.
FL e ML sono bravi, hanno alle spalle altri successi televisivi però la sceneggiatura ha fatto perdere loro qualche punto.
Sinceramente all'inizio volevo dropparlo ma ho resistito per vedere la fine, naturalmente con Happy ending ma comunque una c..... a meno che non ti chiami Lazzaro.
Per me vederlo una volta basta e avanza.
