Cang Hai Xiao

The emperor of the Kingdom of Dayue, deceived by the slanderous minister Zhang Xie, poisoned Prince Qi and his entire family. Fortunately, the prince’s twin sons managed to escape. The younger brother was taken in by a maid and renamed Lin Fu; the elder was adopted by Tan Wen Long, a general of the Dongli Army, and given the name Tan Zong. Eighteen years later, Tan Zong had grown into a talented general, skilled in both martial arts and military strategy. Out of jealousy, Zhang Xie once again spread false accusations, leading to the unjust death of over eight thousand Dongli soldiers. Tan Zong narrowly escaped and, by coincidence, reunited with his long-lost brother Lin Fu — who, unfortunately, died unexpectedly. Tan Zong then assumed his brother’s identity and began a new life. As the “new” Lin Fu, he used his abilities to develop commerce in the southern regions, benefiting the people. After entering politics, he bravely fought against corruption and treachery.
