it needs a season 2
There really needs to be a season 2 to give us more of the romance we long for. There are many directions for the series to go in.I appreciated how thoughtfully they handled the daughter’s storyline because a lot of effort was made to see things from her point of view and add depth in those conversations rather than just being stereotypical.
I did expect that it would be a more toxic drama, but I was pleasantly surprised. I like that the female leads weren’t silly like in some dramas.

Jang Na Ra -Nam Ji Hyun 최고
I remember Fated to Love You. I couldn’t finish because I couldn’t watch Jang Na Ra’s character. She was amazing. I affected by her cringe character. So I got angry and couldn’t watch😅Years and years her acting gets amazing. But in this drama I think we should call her Queen. Her eyes, her style her acting all of them amazing. And her partner Nam Ji Hyun. When you watch Shopping King Lou, you can say she is sweet. Then Suspicions Partner, you can say she lovely and beautiful. You can think she is perfect for rom com. But after Little Women she starte to show she can be bad girl. Ypu can feel her anger and passion. I am waiting for more episodes for this drama.
Especially, I really enjoy to watch Na Ra and Ji Hyun fight scene. They act this fight is really. I laugh a lot.
And P.O-Ji Hyun couple. I don’t want to say I feel their relation in the beginning. I thought their chemistry wasn’t enough. But something is growing up. Let’s continue to watch.
I they will finish their story after divorce. however the story is getting dark and scare. they quit their company job and should open their own office.
0-0
She opened her own office. I’m really happy about that.
And at the end I stil think same thing about P.O-Ji Hyun couple sorry :/

Good Partner: A Heartfelt Exploration of Love, Betrayal, and the Complexity of Divorce
In "Good Partner," the narrative centers around Cha Eun Kyung, a seasoned divorce lawyer who faces her own marital crisis, intertwining her professional and personal struggles. While I found the premise of a divorce lawyer experiencing divorce somewhat cliché, it adds depth to her character, especially as she fights for her marriage. The emotional weight of her daughter's hopes for a complete family also resonated with me, highlighting the complexities of familial bonds amidst turmoil. I believe that while divorce is not ideal, sometimes it is necessary, particularly when infidelity or abuse is involved. The portrayal of characters dealing with difficult realities, such as the Battered Wife case, emphasizes the importance of strong legal representation for those in distressing situations. I have great respect for lawyers like Eun Kyung and her team who refuse to tolerate harmful actions. Overall, "Good Partner" captivated me with its emotional storytelling and powerful performances, particularly by Jang Na-ra, making it a memorable watch. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars, as it effectively explores the nuanced challenges surrounding divorce while encouraging resilience in the face of adversity.

An interesting and intriguing take on divorce.
The Kdrama Good Partner revolves around the life of divorce attorneys, who with every coming day try to face the challenges encountered by them. The story includes great partnership between the two female protagonist of the drama Attorney Cha Eun Kyung and Attorney Han Yu Ri, its beautiful to watch the two of them stick together and create spectacular divorce solutions with each episode. It showcases strong female leads and supportive males leads. The drama deals with pressing matters faced by couples in a light, humorous yet effective manner. Overall the drama is well acted by the actors with a strong and empowering storyline which is at the same time entertaining. This drama is a definite WATCH!Was this review helpful to you?

Divorce is not the end, but maybe the start of a new relationship
Good Partner turns out to be a great legal show. This show brought a new way to see a divorce case from another viewpoint. They clearly depicted the sturggles and pains in every divorce case. Also it emphasized that divorce is not the end of the world, but maybe a new way to re-arrange the relationship. Not only and always about the clients, this show put spotlight on the divorce attorneys and the challenges on how they handled the quarelling couples. More importantly, being a divorce attorney doesn't mean that they're exempt from marriages and divorces themselves. The depiction of the cases were close to realistic, there were several cases being dragged intentionally by the clients, while some chose to withdraw prematurely.Jang Na Ra deserved a praise here, she got that Daesang for a reason. Impressive job from all of the casts, including the divorce clients. I also like the character developments. Cha Eun Gyeong was once a cold and profit-oriented divorce attorney. She matured a lot after the divorce hit her hard.
Although it's been a great journey, I think this show would be better if it ended after Eun Gyeong opened her own law firm, or even after her divorce finalized. There were several unimportant plot, and even a bit draggy, that seemed forcefully inserted just to meet the episode numbers requirement. These subplots couldn't match the importance and tense of the spotlight plot of Eun Gyeong divorce, especially the Daejeong management change plotline. It felt very unnecessary.
It's been quite a while since I saw a good legal show. It's very recommended, particularly because the divorce-cases-focused theme is fresh and rare.

Good partner
End

My personal advice: avoid watching the episode ZERO, with the narrator and subtitles overlapping the text. It's interesting to see this seasoned divorce lawyer navigating her own divorce with the help of this young lawyer who hadn't even chosen this field.
It won't be a walk in the park, with this husband who cheated on her and continues to cheat on her with one of her employees, and who nevertheless wants custody of their daughter.
Divorces and situations of all kinds. Even touching stories, sometimes with happy endings, sometimes with truly disastrous ones. We see this lawyer change as her case progresses, and this change is reflected in her work. Her commitment to making up for lost time with her daughter and her desire to reconnect will lead her to moments of frustration at not feeling "enough."
The lawyer, his colleague, who secretly love her, finds it painful to stay close to her, advising her but unable to comfort her as she would like. This, too, is touching. The second male lead isn't faring any better either. He proposes to the young lawyer Yu Ri, but is friend-zoned, leaving him waiting for her to change her mind.
Episode 10 could have been the series finale, but instead... more lawsuits, more twists.
She'll set up her own business and take matters into her own hands as best she can, staying in touch with her former colleagues. In fact, she'll have many cases in common with her old law firm, perhaps too many, but the beauty is seeing that even though she'll be Han Yuri's adversary in court, outside they'll be more than colleagues (almost friends), knowing how to clearly divide their work and life.
I also enjoyed the soundtrack.

The Best Sismance in a Long Time!
This was one of those dramas that I had a “Love-Hate” relationship with! The show was obviously promoted as sismance between the leading ladies and for most quarters, it is. Sparks fly when veteran divorce lawyer Jang Na Ra (Cha Eun Kyung) has to mentor rookie lawyer Nam Ji Hyun (Han Yoo Ri). First of all, their values are invariably different; while Yoo Ri is too straight laced and principled, Eun Kyung only believes in winning her cases, no matter the cost. Clashes are inevitable, but slowly down the line, both of them settle into an amicable professional relationship which helps them grow in different ways. Because of own custody battle, Eun Kyung learns the importance of family and gets to know her daughter better. Yoo Ri on the other hand learns to separate her personal and professional lives. The male leads didn’t have much to do, apart from supporting the lead ladies; at times, their presence was overshadowed by the female protagonists who had an impeccable sense of justice.

When Law Meets Heart
Good Partner was unexpectedly refreshing. It’s been a while since I watched a law drama, and I really loved how this one wasn’t too heavy. It’s heartwarming yet realistic, showing different sides of divorce: some bitter, some empowering, and others just complicated. It reminded me that divorce, like life, isn’t black and white. It’s very much a grey area.Seeing Jang NaRa and Nam JiHyun again was such a treat, both total queens and complete badasses in their own way. I also appreciate that romance wasn’t the focus here, it’s more like a small sprinkle that adds flavor without overpowering the main story. There’s even a hint of light makjang energy that made things even more entertaining.
Overall, Good Partner surprised me in the best way. Despite touching on crime and legal themes, it still felt comforting and human. It also pushed me to explore more genres outside my comfort zone because who knew legal dramas could be this warm and full of heart? 💼✨

Good but...
I actually enjoy the show, but one thing that bugs me is how the main character tends to shove her views down everyone's throat like she's got the monopoly on morality. It would be so much better if she took a step back sometimes and tried to see things from other people's perspectives, you know? Like, walk a mile in someone else's shoes for a change.I get where she's coming from, and it's not that her beliefs are totally off-base, but the way she goes about it can be a bit preachy and self-righteous. If she could just dial it down a notch and be more open to different viewpoints, it would make the show way more interesting.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for having strong convictions, but there's a fine line between standing up for what you believe in and coming off as judgmental. I think the show would benefit a lot from showing more sides of the story and letting characters really grapple with tough ethical dilemmas. It would add depth and make it more relatable to audiences.
So yeah, while I'm a fan of the show overall, I wish they'd tone down the moral high ground stuff and bring in more genuine dialogue and understanding. That would make it not just entertaining but also thought-provoking in a real way.

The friendships
I think what kept me most interested was the bonding of the female attorneys. Although their personalities were different they learned from each other and became better attorneys and friends. Even when CEO Oh was trying to oust Attorney Cha, Attorney Han didn’t turn on her to further her own career. Also I found Attorney Jeon to be so cute and refreshing in his pursuit of Attorney Han.
I also enjoyed the mother/daughter bonding between Attorney Cha Eun Gyeung and her daughter, Kim Jae Hui.

A mature and realistic story about growth, divorce, and partnership
Perfection belongs only to God, but this drama is honestly that good. What I appreciated the most is how Good Partners doesn’t stop at the divorce itself, but explores what happens after. At first, I thought the story would end there, but it goes further by showing the reality of being a divorced working woman—how she navigates her career, identity, and family life.
One of the strongest parts of this drama is the character development of the female lead (played by Jang Nara). At the beginning, she is very cool, composed, and career-focused—the kind of strong woman who seems to have everything under control. And in a way, that becomes part of the conflict in her marriage. You can understand how her husband felt emotionally distant, even though his actions were still wrong. Living with someone like that might make you question whether you are truly loved.
But as the story progresses, especially after major conflicts, you can really see her growth. She becomes more emotionally expressive, more caring, and more present, especially toward her daughter. I would say she learns how to express love better, not just feel it. Her development feels realistic and shows how people can change over time when they are confronted with difficult situations.
I also really liked how the drama highlights the idea of a “good partner” beyond romance. A supportive work partner and a healthy work environment can make such a big difference in someone’s life. It’s a reminder that not all important relationships are romantic. Some partnerships help you grow, heal, and become a better version of yourself.
Overall, this drama feels very honest and mature. It doesn’t try to be overly dramatic, but it leaves a strong impact because of how real and relatable it is.
