I am in love with this series

I’ve read the novel, and although it’s a bit messy, the changes made in the series are amazing. These adjustments were truly needed, and they make it a fantastic series. Both Great’s and Aoey’s acting are exceptional I absolutely loved it. I adore how they complement each other’s characters so well.

So far, there haven’t been any boring episodes. Each one has been beautifully portrayed, even better than in the novel. Especially in Episode 5, when Gen found out about Aoey’s secret—in the novel, that entire scene was more of a sex scene, which didn’t sit right with me. But in the series, it was portrayed in a way that showed how Gen truly sees and feels about Aoey. No matter what happens, she will always love her and not see her as filthy, despite knowing the truth and how Aoey feared Gen would feel when she learned it.

I’m definitely looking forward to the upcoming episodes and the future projects they have.

Underrated

I feel like people who read novel or favor other series seems to unnecessary insult this series. The story already strongly set the standpoint of Aoey and Genlong character. You have to understand their standpoint very well so everything make sense.

Genlong is very self-centred though she always choose the best choice and take care Aoey in Genlong's perspective.
Aoey is always indulge Genlong and always care for Genlong. She can follow every decision Genlong make.

You can see them since kids era, Genlong always use Aoey as her maid but always take care her and treat her as mate while Aoey always indulge Genlong's selfishness and do everything for Genlong without any reason (ex. she never reject Genlong for a single time when she use her as maid)

The same for adults era, Ep3 Genlong decided to set their relationship as "mate" (which she believe it's the best for them in that moment) and Aoey indulge Genlong and said that she will always be by Genlong's side in every position.

Ep6-8 They ended up loving each other but Genlong has to forcedly leave Aoey due to difficult situation and condition because it's the best for them, so both of them can separately recover up, tho Genlong want Aoey to hate her and move on because she thinks she might die and don't want Aoey to wait for her.

When they meet again (3 years) Genlong and Aoey still love each other but Genlong want Aoey to move on, Genlong believe that Ten will take care Aoey better than her if they get married so Genlong decided to leave Aoey to Ten and set their relationship as "mate" but this time, Genlong is the one who said that she will always be by Aoey's side in every position ,then even tho Aoey already knew the story about Genlong is the one who help her when they were separating, Aoey indulge Genlong again and try to love Ten for Genlong's replacement and try to marry him. But luckily (for us), Ten is a cheater so Genlong realized that no one can be as good as her to take care Aoey and she doesn't want to see Aoey to get manipulated and take advantage (mentioned in Ep4) so she finally decided to get marry with Aoey and take care her by herself.

So people arguing that if Ten is a good person, then Aoey and Genlong won't ended up together? the answer is YES, because Aoey will do everything to follow Genlong's decision, and I believe that Aoey will love Ten in the future since Ten is a good person and always take care Aoey very well even tho it takes her effort and time to move on. Genlong will also move on and find her new partner as well. This series has 2 ending, Aoey be with Genlong or Aoey be with Ten, depends on Ten's character.

For the series it's actually about 2 Characters' decision who want to indulge each other for the best so emotion involved, not every decision is right. The watchers are only outsider so for me, this series is still reasonable and being my most favorite so far. "Mate" is very fit for the series concept and when Genlong upgrade "mate" to "soulmate" is sheeshhhhh.

Belle retranscription des actes égoïstes au sein d'un couple

L'intrigue me fait penser aux vagues d'un océan. Entre le démarrage plutôt fort grâce au personnage explosif et brillamment interprété mais quelque peu caricatural de Genlong - riche héritière arrogante, bornée et impulsive -, l'histoire fera boire la tasse à plus d'un viewers. De la mer d'huile pour les moments doux et paisibles, jusqu'au tsunami pour certains rebondissements et passant par la tempête dans les scènes les plus passionnées et poignantes.
Le drama arrive à bien retranscrire de manière naturelle des cheminements de pensées ni blanc, ni noir, mais gris. Que ce soit pour Aoey comme pour Genlong. La majorité de leurs choix ne seront jamais foncièrement bons ou mauvais.

Les performances stratosphériques de Grace et Oaey couplée à l'alchimie qu'elles possèdent entre elles, apportent une nette profondeur à certaines scènes, notamment à la fin de l'épisode 8.

Cependant, s'il y a bien une ombre au tableau, c'est celle-ci : LES FAUX-RACCORDS
J'ai fini par perdre le compte tellement il y en avait. A certains moments, ils peuvent être déroutant dans la compréhension.

En bref, si vous n'êtes pas trop tatillons sur la production et plus particulièrement, les faux-raccords, ce drama est un must watch.
